'Sistas' Season 7 Episode 2 Recap

Tonight's episode picked up where we left Gart and Penelope in the toilet. Penelope walked in on Gary jerking off Andi's underwear. This obviously brought their dinner with Jordan and Andi to an end, Penelope knows Gary is disgusting, but she chooses to put up with him, Penelope told her brother and Andi she wasn't feeling well, so they had to go. Now just when you think Gary couldn't get any more repulsive, he gets quite aggressive in the elevator, asking Penelope to "Shut the fuck up", she is the reason why he was just masturbating with Andi's panties. I'm glad, Tyler Perry is finally revealing the true villain Gary has been all this while.

After robbing it down Penelope's face that she would be staying in his house all by herself tonight, Gary went to his boy's house Hayden to spend the night. As season 7 of Sistas continues to progress I wish Penelope will get the same strength Andi had to leave Gary. The narcissistic character has no intention to marry Penelope, he tells Hayden he gives all his women the same ring Gary's new goal is to bring down Jordan and he wants Hayden to join him on this one. As much as I never liked Gary and knew the boy was up to something, I think the new writers are stretching a lot more on Gary's obnoxious personality, In previous seasons of Tyler Perry's Sistas, we all knew Gary was bad news but not this bad.

Another character that might be turning a new leave this season is Hayden's. Hayden has either grown a soft spot or entirely changed for the better as Tamara left him. Hayden told Andi the next day at the office how Gary and Penelope aren't in a good place they claim to be and Gary wants to take down Jason. Even Hayden of all people is wary of Gary and his shady dealings. Well, don't go joining Team Hayden just yet, he and Gary might be cooking up something for the ones they are obsessed with.

Retribution might just be coming in quickly for Penelope, I mean her fiancee has been dishing out the blows, it's time someone bigger deals with Gary. It turns out the FBI is on Gary's tail again. His investors her selling of shares and Gary and his associates know why. They had to quickly wipe off their computers to avoid getting caught in their scheme by the Feds. Hopefully, something sticks on Gary this time, we have been down this lane before and Gary was able to wiggle himself out back in seasons 1 and 2 of Sistas.

Sabrina is on an emotional swing in tonight's episode, she has always been the prim and proper lady in the Sistas circle but there seems to be a little change to her character. First, she gets a new man [Rich] just like Danni. Not the complicated Calvin we have gotten used to over the years or the African prince with goats and sheep but a fine brother. Sabrina is now talking about having children, and a perfect family with her husband and kids. It turns out Rich isn't interested in having kids, he would rather have a cat than have kids or get married. Well, this revelation did not put Sabrina off from getting her groove on, she is willing to just get his sperm and have her own kids. I don't know if it is Karen's baby on the way that has Sabrina thinking about a "Picket Fence" but I do know it was a result of all the wine she had after meeting with the girls that inspired Sabrina to ask Rich to give her his sperm. 

On the Zatima side of things, Zac discloses his desire to establish a trust fund for Michael and his offspring with Karen to Fatima. Fatima is cool with a trust for Michael but a trust for Karen's baby! now that's a no from Fatima. Although Fatima didn't make a fuss about this, she sure doesn't like the fact Zac wants to name his baby with Karen, Zac Jnr, she should be the one having a 'Zac Jnr'. She told the Sistas circle when they met up for dinner later that night. I'm glad to finally see Fatima joining the Sistas circle but this might come with the price of affecting Karen's position in the group. She already does not have so much of a great history with Fatima after she took Zac from her now she is chilling with her girls. Karen came to the restaurant for the meeting with her girls but left the moment she saw Fatima and the girls sipping wine and having a good time. 

Thanks to Fatima though, Danni will be seeing a therapist. Sabrina and Tony couldn't convince Danni but when Fatima mentioned she has a therapist that helped her go through her shit, Danni reconsidered. It's about time Danni gets to the bottom of the dreams she has been having and her reason for picking up strays all the time.
