The finale of 30 Coins had the entire Pedraza in rumbles for the final showdown. It is a full-blown war between good and evil and Vergara isn't coming softly. Manuel gave Paco and Elena guns to join him, this time it is clear nothing is normal and they have a war to fight.
Their first attempt to confront the demon they have been faced with all through the season was in the blinding fog. Vergara called Angel to show himself. His first attack on the trio was a monster from hell. A monster that devours you through images of it eating you up, Vergara was able to shoot him back to hell when the monster had his face in anguish.
The first encounter left Vergara, Paco, and Elena hiding in a cave for over 15 days but the games continued. Angel cleared the fog in the city but the people are not normal, everyone is smiling with a pale look on. A minibus arrived with Asian tourists but was hijacked by the people the moment they entered the town.With Angel turning the town upside down it is obvious he is the reason everyone in Pedraza is looking like lunatics except Merche. Angel has been feeding the people black communion but Merche, he hands it to her. The tourists that were taken were he gave it to the Asian tourists that were taken and they became pale like the rest of them.
Manuel needed a white dove and the blood of Ambrosia from the church to help him get around the city without the people attacking them. Paco was able to sneak into the church while Angel was giving an evening mass to take the blood of Ambrosia. He kept watching Merche at the church, the guilt of leaving alone in all of this has been eating Paco up.
Manuel broke the blood of Ambrosia to rub on his eyes and also on the dove, he has to use the dove to see. While the dove went into the city, Elena and Paco followed Manuel’s directions to know what Angel and his minions are planning. They have taken all the farm animals to prepare for Fabio’s arrival.
Antonio is the one with the real foresight, he told Maria and Cristina about his vision. When the man from Rome comes and put on the cloth they have been making for him with the animals, the people would be able to go out but Angel would kill them all so no one would know.
Even the officers have been taking the communion, they tied Laguna up and told Antonio to dream something else. Antonio later returned to the station, he lured Maria and Cristina out of the station so he could go rescue Laguna.
Paco went to see Merche against Elena's advice, the last time they met she almost killed her. Merche acted like she has missed Paco, she showed him the black communion that has been making the people act the way they do, it’s been hard for her not to be seen.
When Paco asked her to come with them, Merche got crazily angry, she cannot watch him think about Elena, she would rather face the lunatics on her own. Elena was right when she told Paco not to go see Merche, the toast Paco leftover, Merche took it to the witch to create a spell.
Merche found Elena and Paco in the carves, the pin the witch did was for Elena. She pierced Elena in
the neck with it as they fought. By the time Paco called Vergara to come see Elena, Elena had disappeared.
The eminence and the brotherhood arrived Pedraza. Angel had decorated the temple for the ritual with animal blood and dead animals in wait for Fabio’s arrival.
In the midst of the dead animals and stench, Paco and Vergara found Elena. She is has a pulse but unconscious. Vergara saw Fabio and Angel enter the room and went after them while Paco faced the witch.
She told him he had to chose but when Paco took out the pin from Elena, she began to bleed out. Paco fought with the witch and all her claws but killed her when he pierced her into a stick. Paco managed to escape with Elena on his shoulder, he took one of the cars but killed the officer before he left.
Vergara’s fight was in the same room where Fabio was being worn the animal skin but with Angel. Angel told Vergara he always knew he was a saint like Judas that’s why he gave him the coin. It all made sense to Vergara now, it wasn’t Giacomo that gave him the coin but Angel and thanks to him they have all 30.
Fabio stabbed Vergara as satan’s lamb before Angel wore him the crown with all 30 coins. This is the beginning of the end.
Meanwhile, Vergara said his last prayer the same time Antiona released the dove he was nurturing, that dove was Vergara's spirit animal since he had already created the connection. While Fabio was addressing his brothers as the new pope, Vergara got the courage to take the knife out of his stomach, he nudged Angel aside and pushed himself and Fabio out of the building.
The coins on Fabio's crown scattered so did the barrier in the city. Paco could drive out of Pedraza with Elena to a hospital. Antiono and Laguna also limped their way out.
They were not the only people to leave, when the coin scattered so did the priests, they fought themselves to grab a coin for themselves.
Merche got one, she and Lagrange had a connection at the event so they left together after Merche picked her coin.
With Fabio and Vergara dead, Angel took a new identity of an Asian man and left Pedraza through a mirror.
