The Oval Season 4 Episode 7 Recap

One thing that has always ticked me off about The Oval since the series premiered four years ago, is the fact that all the characters seem to be omnipotent. They seem to know just exactly what the writer knows. There is no surprise, no intrigue with the dialogue, the characters just know it all. They know just exactly what the viewers are trying to figure out.

Tell me how on earth, Bobby holds a  loaded gun at Don’s neck without his knowledge and Don doesn’t act fizzled by this act rather he is calm, collected, and even smiles at it like he and Tayler Perry wrote the script and he knows Bobby is supposed to hold a gun to his head.

Don was so sure Lily was going to turn down Bobby’s request that they left together even before Lily gave her answer and Lilly did not disappoint. You might call it a hunch, he knows Lilly likes the finer things he gives her but in this case, Don was more than certain she would say no.

Even with Don laughing at his face, Bobby had the gun to his neck and Lilly still gave him a no, she wants the money.

Immediately after Bobby leaves, Don becomes realistic, yelling at the secret service about how incompetent they were, letting Bobby in without seeing him. The man just seems to like dishing out orders to everyone.

Seriously, Victoria and Alonso have a scene after his wild time out of the white house with the president and immediately her six senses are alive, she can smell Hunter’s cologne on Alonso’s hair. Victoria just knew he had taken her husband out of the White House, without any briefing but by just smelling Hunter's scent on his hair.

Kyle has been looking at Hunter since the last season of the Oval, giving the president the green light on how much he wants him. Victoria knew this the moment she mistakenly or would I say intentionally (there is hardly ever any mistake with Victoria) gave Kyle a dick pic of no other person than her husband, Hunter.

This was her way to get Kyle in the car with her and also his attention. She claimed she has been seeing the way he looked at her husband. Bobby and Max weren't only the ones asked to stand in line, Kyle was too, Victoria handed him the cover story he needed to act nicely with Bobby and Max going forward in the White House.

It’s going to take more than photoshopped pictures and videos to keep Bobby and Max off the whole administration trail. After the meeting with the Vice President, they still intend to get Sharon to wear a wire and meet the president. It’s one thing to get evidence in the Oval, it’s another thing to keep the witness alive. I hope Sharon isn’t the next victim on the news as the Oval progresses.
