Venge Recap Season 1 Episode 199

Timi reported back to Mama K about Philip Effiong that paid Williams a visit. He told her Williams was here talking to Kamara about the money they owe Hon. Adaeze. He did some digging and found out Effiong is Adaeze’s godfather. Mama K applauded him for a good job and asked him to dig more. 

Kamara tried to talk to Williams before they got into their car about  Effiong’s money but Williams is more interested in increasing their revenue and wouldn’t change his mind. Well, when they got into their respective cars, each of them had Effiong’s men waiting in the car with their guns, they covered their mouths with handkerchiefs till they passed out. 

Williams and Kamara woke up so the boys informed their boss. Effiong came in and informed them that they have his money, a lot of it. He can expose them to so much pain but he wouldn’t, he is a man that likes peaceful conflict resolution. All Effiong wants is for them to set up a meeting with Owolabi, he let them go.

When they dropped them off, Kamara told Williams this man is not playing they need to let him see Owolabi. Even Williams admitted the man isn’t joking, he called Bori to order him to stop drugging Owolabi.

Detective Mo took the video he made of Halima at Williams’s house to Nabila. He wanted to tell Nabila that Halima is dirty. She asked him how he knew about this and Mo said he has been suspecting her so he followed her, he is of service if she needs anything. 

Halima went back to Nabila with disappointing news, Williams turned her down, and he said he already has someone working for him. Nabila then informed her of the video Mo showed her, Halima immediately figured Mo is the one working for Williams, he once helped her cover something for Williams. Nabila was upset that she did not tell her this from the onset.

The bounty on Bibi has everyone in the safe house talking. Yemi decided to put the same man that tried to kidnap her as her shadow. Just to keep Bibi safe, Yemi asked IK to protect Bibi. However, when IK got the chance, he came on to Bibi from behind and covered her mouth. 

Bukola went to the prison to see Rhoda but the officers there wouldn’t let her through. She definitely isn’t giving up the chance to look for her child. 

Meanwhile, Yemi saw IK before he drove out of the house, he asked him where he was going without Bibi. IK said inside is hot so he came out for fresh air, Bibi is sleeping inside. Yemi wanted to go out with him but he did not want to drive. 

Just as Yemi tried to get into the car, IK ran away. Yemi was shocked, it all made sense when he opened the car and Bibi was inside, passed out.

Next on Venge: Bukola will go after one of the prison guards.
