Dilemma Recap: Season 1 Episode 166

Newton went to the hospital to see his Alim, he did not know she was here, he just got the news now. Aliyah gave him the news after she started with an apology. Every time they try to be together something ruins it for them, she is pregnant with Kanan's child. Newton never expected it. 

Yolaine came to the house to see Kanso but met with Kaineto first. She asked her if there is something going on between her and her son. Yolaine turned it around with a question of her own, is there something going on between her and her dad? Kaineto invited her to sit so they can talk.

Meanwhile, Kanso was with Idara, Rea, Solape, and Nnamdi. Kanso took the cue, and he left since no one wanted to talk. Rea made a rude remark after Kanso left, she said he should know how to read the room and leave when no one wants him. 

Idara asked Solape to take her home, she also did not want to bring up what she has been doing on social media. After Rea and Solape left, Idara told Nnamdi she wants to leave town for a while. Nnamdi doesn’t want her to go because he would miss her.

Idara, on the other hand, isn’t someone to beat around the bush, she knows something is going on between them and maybe when she comes back they might try it out. Nnamdi agreed to wait, she is worth it.

Back at the hospital, Newton was upset that Aliyah was pregnant for Kanan, she has been sleeping with him. Aliyah apologized, it happened the night of his birthday, when they were trying to sort out their marriage. 

Aliyah brought up how she saw Kanan kissing Kaineto and asked Newton if he knew. Newton knew about it, in fact, he helped Kanan and Kaineto meet so Kanan would be distracted and they would have time for themselves, it was the only way, he did it for her.

Aliyah could not believe what he was telling her, he knew all this while and even set them up together and did not tell her. Aliyah kicked him out of the room, she called the nurse to take him out, she doesn’t want to see this man again.

Kaineto was honest with Yolaine concerning her relationship with her father until Yolaine broke her heart with the news of Aliyah being pregnant and the fact that her parents are trying to figure things out. Their candid section came to an end at that point because Kaineto was disappointed, she simply told her she has another meeting to end the conversation.

While the children of bad mothers (Tahir and Goldie) were trying to patch their lives by going out for fresh air and good food, Mariam and Henry were going through their drama.

He handed her the divorce papers, she would leave the marriage without anything just the things she bought with her money, his money. Mariam tore the papers and even chewed them, she would leave this marriage over her dead body, he knew she was mad before he married her.

Henry wasn’t bothered about that, he would send the documents through his lawyers and if she likes she can fry them, burn them and even garnish them, they would meet in court and he would deal with her.

Tank and Zayn went to Kaineto with the John Kodjovi situation, he is asking for death going after Dembele. Kaineto said they shouldn’t touch him right now but rather find a way to handle him. Tank gave Zayn a folder on John, it contained all the dirty things John had done over the years, he can threaten him with this until Dembele gives the order to kill John.

While Tahir and Goldie were at a restaurant eating and talking about Goldie’s dad, Salma showed up. She was really surprised to see both of them together, what’s going on here?
