'The Rishantes' Recap: Season 1 Episode 26

Matilda returned to Serena's office to get a file when she noticed the flash drive on the table. Serena explained she got it from her office, she saw it on the floor. Matilda quickly took the drive before she could plug it and hear the content.

Serena did not think it was hers because she does not like saving documents in a drive, she suggested she uses the cloud but Matilda does want hack issues. At least she was able to get back the drive before Serena played it.

Adi couldn't sleep that night, he asked Somma why she wants 40% of the company, her investors could have asked for something lesser. Somma does not want 40% of his company, he just asked a bunch of people to put their money into his company, clearly, they would want to protect their interests. 

By the time Somma was done explaining things to Adi he was sorry he accused her of trying to gain control of the company.

Serena and Timi would be going for that dinner after all, he stopped by her office to check on her and she told him she was hoping he would stop by so they can talk, finally these two are leaving the flirting stage.

Even the financial officer of the company thinks the risk of 40% is much, anything can happen. Adi is confident that nothing would happen, they finally have the funds, it will not get to them risking their shares.

Somma went to her parent's house and her mother gave her an earful concerning her craving. After asking her what she was craving, Nene began to give her a lecture on how much she used to crave unripe mangos when she was pregnant with her brother.

Somma had to cave in, she told her she was craving African Salad. Nene brought up the contract after Somma was done with her meal, she told her about the clause that is upsetting Adi, he fears he would lose 40% of his company.

Somma wants to apologize to Adi but her mother told her not to, she helped her husband's business, she sees no reason why she should apologize, she told her to leave it.

While Matilda was having a meeting with Serena, she noticed she had zoned out so she had to call Serena back to reality. Serena explained why she zoned out, she is having issues reconciling her father's offshore accounts with his Nigerian asset.

Matilda suggested she speaks to Prof. Chilota about it, he and her father used to be friends. After Serena thanked her for helping, Matilda told her she should learn the lesson that she is always here to help, she can talk to her.

We got to know why Matilda did not help Adi with the bail-out funds, she told Gogo she wanted Adi to stand on his own, have his own wins. He seems to not see how much of their father he is, she is monitoring things from the side and would step in if there is a need for it.

From what Gogo was seeing, Somma really loves Adi and would go to any length for him, she should learn to open up her heart a little bit more.

Serena called Prof while he was polishing one of his precious stones. He first gave his condolences for the death of her father then accepted her request to have a sit out with him.

Halita stopped by Safari's house after work, this time while they were doing the exercise routine, Halita did not freak out. She noticed Safari was being too careful so she explained that what happened that day was a one-time thing, it wouldn't happen again.

Meanwhile, Serena and Timi went on their date. They had such a good time with Timi cracking her up with his jokes. Things got a little bit sore when Serena said she had not laughed this had since her father died. Remembering her dad brought back painful memories but Timi was there for her. 

Next on The Rishantes: GGP intends to use Serena against Matilda.
