'Venge' Recap: Season 1 Episode 23

Timi really knows how to lie but this time he was telling the truth, Reni asked him why the girl called Bibi his fiancee, and Timi told her the truth. He said Bibi found the ring where he hid it and thought it was for her, he went along with it and said it was for her.

Reni was not having it, it all makes sense now why he was hiding her from his friends and had her in a hotel all the while, So she was just a passport to him. Reni got angry and broke up with him.

Estelle was checking on Kamara's bruises when Timi came in at the court. When Estelle left, Kamara made it clear to Timi that he does not want to have anything to do with him again. Timi said all of this was his fault, he did not want to give BIBI that loan when she asked but he insisted, he did what he did for both of them.

Kamara had to hit him across his face for spewing the nonsense he was talking, Estelle returned to stop the fight.

Angela and Bibi did a mock trial where she was cross-examining her so harshly. Bibi could not take her yelling at her, she made her stop talking. Angela tried to tell her that it would be tougher out there but Bibi is confident that she can handle it.

When they returned home, Estelle tried to get Kamara to talk about what happened but he would not, he even yelled at her when she kept bugging him for answers. Kamara doesn't want to talk about it, in fact, he wants some space to clear his head. 

Estelle thought he was breaking up with her but Kamara isn't breaking up, he left the house to go clear his head. The moment he walked out, Estelle called Toke to get her product.

Officer Susan made Lawal and Ahmed write a handwritten report of the incident that happened that night. While Ahmed was writing his own, Lawal came to share his thought with him, it is like their madam wants to cross-check their handwriting with that of the suicide note that's why she is suggesting they do not type it. The moment Ahmed heard those words he left the station to handle something.

Angela examined Bibi then the prosecuting lawyer nailed her, Bibi said she was trying to stop Agent's Mfon's bleeding but the lawyer twisted her words and began to ask her if she is a medical practitioner, Mfon was trying to stop the bleeding while she was trying to put the knife inside.

Bibi was cited for contempt for talking rudely to the judge, even she should understand that she is innocent and is being framed here. The judge ended the trial after citing Bibi, they would adjourn for another day now.

Officer Ahmed met up with Gambo to tell him about the handwritten report his boss is asking for, she wants to cross-check his handwriting with that of the suicide note and he cannot delay again. 

Gambo told him to give him a minute while he makes a call. He called Chief Yabura to take permission to get rid of someone that has become a problem. Chief gave him the go-ahead. Gambo is definitely going to take out Ahmed, he is a problem now.

Angela was admonishing Bibi for messing up in court then the prosecuting lawyer came to speak with Angela, he has a plea bargain for her, 15year in prison or she gets a life sentence or even worst.

Angela spoke with Bibi about the bargain but Bibi would not take it. Angela is at a dead-end here, the law is not on their side. Bibi would not admit to a crime she did not commit, if it means the death sentence then so be it.
