'The family Business' Recap: Season 3 Episode 11

The penultimate episode of The Family Business has the Duncan and the Cruz family teaming up together.

LC had called for a meeting with all the families but only the clergymen showed, brother minster and Bernie.

Before the meeting, Bernie had conversations with some of the families distributing Fire, he got them to order the same amount of Heat they were getting from the Duncans which he would purchase back from them.

Bernie also made sure to tell the families LC would kill them if they do not accept his terms at the meeting.

Things are definitely working right for sneaky old Bernie, now the Duncans are cornered it is the best time to sell the formulas for Heat. Orlando immediately rejected the offer but LC feels it is the best thing to do, no one is buying Heat anymore this is the last move. This reminds me of when blackberry sold BBM just before WhatsApp and IG took over.

Snr. Cruz put the last piece to the puzzle, he gave Orlando and LC the name of the supplier of Fire. First, he had a conversation with Nevada about the unity of the Duncans and the Cruz before coming for the meeting. It all rest on Nevada now, Snr Cruz handed Nevada the stick of the Cruz family.

Things might be getting ugly for the Cora family but first, let’s go to Dominque paying Ahmee a visit to find her daughter. Good to know Nefertiti knows how to use a gun, she had a gun to Dominque’s head just the way Dominque had one pointing at Ahmee.

Ahmee has no idea where Sage is but would tell Sage her mother dropped by when he sees her.

Now back the Alexander, his finding out Sage is still alive might be a little bit of a problem but the real volcano waiting to erupt is Juan knowing he killed Rafael to get Marcos distracted.

Juan had gone to see Alexander for blindsiding him into working with Alejandro. Unlike the Duncans that treat everyone like family, Alexander wasted no time making it clear to Juan they are not partners, he supplies the drugs and he sells them.

Juan tried to get him to understand Marcos is on the Duncans side, this was when Alexander talked about the distraction Marcos is going through right now. Juan almost could have put a bullet in his head if it wasn’t a meeting they were having.

Nevada made his first kill on the episode, killing the man Alejandro kept in charge of Consuela. For a couple episodes, Consuela had been planning her escape with Ramon, using her feminine gaze and flirt to get her prisoner comfortable, she even let him watch her take a shower.

The last shower was his last, Consuela finally used the fork she had been sharpening to stab him in the back before running to free Ramon.

Meanwhile Snr. Cruz readied his men as well as Nevada to get his mother back from Alejandro. Nevada was just in time to pull the trigger and that saved Consuela.
