Sistas Recap Season 3 Episode 4

Things did not go as Gary planned or at least for the first 3 minutes of this week’s episode of Sistas. Karen hit the nail on the head after Danni open disapproval of the wedding, this looks like Gary is trying to control everything and also control them.

If it were another character no Sistas trying to do a surprise wedding, the girls would have been on board with it but not Gary, everything about him screams manipulative and Andi doesn’t want to see it.

The girls wanted to talk to her in the changing room but Andi thought Gary did a beautiful thing, even getting Aaron to get the marriage license.

Karen was disappointed knowing Aaron was in on all of this but her concern was the mistake Andi was about to make. The Sistas stopped Andi from saying yes so they can talk to her at the back.

Since last season on Sistas, Danni had taken a different approach on talking to Andi about Gary, it’s her decision to marry him or not, they cannot do anything for her other than support.

Karen on the other hand still tried to talk to Andi, remind her of all the things Gary had done to her because Andi thinks what Gary did is sweet.

It turns out on their first date, Andi told Gary she wanted a surprise wedding, she told him what she wanted her bridesmaid to wear and how simple she wanted her wedding and Gary did exactly what she said.

Karen reminded her of the time Gary left her bruises when he almost killed her, the country how, and his wife. Andi knows all of this but wants to marry Gary, they don’t know him like she does.

Karen wouldn’t support her friend in doing this, she took off the clothes Gary made them wear and left. Danni and Sabrina tried to get Karen to stay, they can’t talk Andi out of it but they sure need to support her.

Their plea fell on deaf eyes, Karen left. Danni and Sabrina told Andi they don’t think she should do this but they would support her.

Karen finally had that conversation with Fatima they did not have last week on Sistas in the dressing room at the car park after Karen went off on Gary.

On her way out, she saw Gary talking to Aaron and gave him a piece of her mind. He is an abuser and a manipulator and if he ever hurts Andi she would come for him.

Gary tried to apologize, he made a mistake in the past but we all know squeezing someone to death is not a mistake.

Fatima was outside smoking her pipe when Karen came to her car, she told her she did not know Zac was her ex but she can't shake Zac off.

Just ask Danni and Sabrina did, Fatima went back inside to support Andi even if she knows she is making a bad decision but it is her decision.

Meanwhile, it’s Pride month on Sistas and Tyler Perry did not forget. The bar had rainbows decorated inside when Maurice went to talk to the barman.

He is looking for Que. The barman knows Que, he stole his laptop but it was worth it. Que isn’t the only person Maurice got to meet at the bar, Calvin was hooking up with his friend Peggy wearing his sequin jacket.

Maurice has never seen a straight man wear sequins or even heard a straight man hook with two other men just like Peggy said. It’s being a while she and Calvin hooked up with two men. Calvin did not let her complete what she was saying, she doesn’t have to talk to simple-minded Maurice.

Karen and Zac got some advice, Pam told Karen to go on dating apps to get a man after she caught Pam having sex in her office in the saloon.  Karen went to the salon to clear her head but walked into moans from her office, it was Pam doing the same thing she and Zac did last season.

Zac on the other hand took advice from Preston, he stopped by Danni’s house to talk to her but it was just Preston cooking steaks.

Zac hypothetically asked him about his situation, if someone gives you too good to be a true tip, what are you going to do? Preston suggested he verts first before investing his money.

While they were having dinner, Karen called Zac on her office phone, Zac blocked her mobile number. She wants them to talk at the saloon. Zac agreed to come over after making it clear he does not want to have sex.

By the end of this week’s episode, not everyone got what they want at least some characters did. Maurice found Que at the bar, he knocked him across the face when he tried to buy his silence.

Andi on the other hand did not want to get out of her chair, she kept crying because she was overwhelmed by how sweet this is.

When Andi finally got out of her chair to walk the aisle, she couldn’t move, she told the girls she did not want to do this.

Gary might not get his yes, he does not like being alone and does not want to be alone, told Aaron this while they waited for Andi. This might be the real reason Gary rushed the wedding plans.
