'Unmarried' Recap: Season 2 Finale Episode 13

 

It is the finale of Unmarried today and our beautiful ladies took a deep stare at their reflection in the mirror. 

Nengi is tired of Efe ignoring her, he should tell her what is going on. Efe tried to evade the question but went on to bring up the message he saw, why did she not tell him she had company with Lami yesterday.

Nengi got upset that he was reading her messages but Efe explained what truly happened, the message popped in while he was trying to make the bed.

He has told her he would not be second best to anyone, Lami cannot be leaving rent-free in his head. Nengi told him she is sorry, there is nothing going on with Olamide.

Efe reminded her she is grown she should make up her mind on what she wants, he comes here thinking he is her man but she cannot keep playing these games. Nengi told him Olamide is important to her, he is her doctor. 

While Nengi is trying to convince Efe she is with him, Kamsi also had to reassure Kingsley that she is with him, he is the one she wants.

Nengi does not want Efe to regret having a baby with her, they just met and she is trying to figure things out. Efe asked her if she really likes him or he is some guy that she is using to satisfy her sexual urge.

Nengi just does not want anyone to hurt her, she does not want to be dependant on anyone. Efe can see the problem, the pain Atonye caused her is lingering on, this is why she would not let men on and only go for men that are not ready to commit.

Efe is not Atonye, he is not going to be strung along, he wants the full cake, not a slice, he wants to be committed to her. Nengi heard him but she needs to find herself, that way she can give him what he wants.

Nengi is so stressed out that she just needs time to get herself in order. Efe does not like this one bit but Nengi really needs time.

When Kamsi returned home that night, Lotanna was there ready to make her smile, he brought something for her from the restaurant but had the whole table set for her. Kamsi could not stay mad at him, she dived into the meal.

Nengi went to see the good doctor, her hormones have been raging over the place lately. Olamide thinks it is the stress she has been under lately.

Nengi has been considering her options for the choice of her baby's father. Olamide took the chance to flirt with her, is she making this decision because of him because he is interested in her.

Fumbi ordered Joe to leave her house, it seems like her mother gave him the baton to stress her life with the need to get a man and be rich.

Meanwhile, Olamide's smile turned into a frown after he examined Nengi, she is pregnant, 5 weeks gone.

Joe did not leave, he stayed back in the living room waiting for Fumbi to come down. When she did he apologized to her, her happiness is all that matters to him so he is okay if she wants to be broke.

Kingsley called Kamsi while she was resting at home, he wants them to go on a trip so she can relax. Kamsi likes the idea but wants to think about it first because of her kids.

Olamide isn't really excited that Nengi is pregnant so he flippantly explained to her that she is pregnant because she has been having sex and is five weeks gone. Nengi called Ade, he definitely is the father.

Coupled with Nengi's confusion, Olamide would not be continuing with her case. He will refer her to another doctor and even asked that she waits at the reception for the nurse to attend to her.

Nengi went home sad, she called her girls while she was crying at home. They thought it was Efe that hurt her but Nengi told her friends, she is pregnant.

Kamsi is happy for her but Fumbi got really quiet, old wounds just reopened for her. Nengi told her the problem she is having with the child, it is Ade's child, she just started having sex with Efe 10 days ago.

While Nengi was crying, Fumbi said she wanted to leave. Her friends tried to ask her what the problem was but Fumbi yelled that they should not touch her before she left.

Nengi realized it is the news of her baby that got Fumbi that way but Kamsi told her it was not her fault. It just shows Fumbi needs time to heal, they would get her all the help they can but she has to be healthy for the baby.

When Osi came over to see Fumbi she told him about the conversation with her friends, Nengi is pregnant. Fumbi allowed herself to tell Osi how she really feels, she is happy for her but broke down to cry.

The next day, Fumbi went to see Nengi at her house, she is so sorry, she promises to be a good aunty. The news got made all the memories flooding in but she is taking her mental health seriously.

Fumbi asked her friend what she intends to do, will she tell Ade. Nengi already tried calling Ade but he did not pick up. She wants to tell Efe about it, she does not want to deceive him.

Fumbi wants her to just pin in on Efe, she knows lots of people that have done this and have gotten away with it.

Nengi began to tease her, she has not changed. Fumbi insists she has changed, there is a guy, Sani that has been calling and inviting her on trips but she has been turning him down. She wants to see him today because he would not take no for answer. 

Fumbi did meet up with Sani, he wants to give her the best life they can be married and have all they want. Fumbi said she is busy, she also has read about how his wife goes after all the women that come close to him.

Sani claims he can protect her from his wife, he is wealthy and can give her the life she deserves.

Efe came to see Nengi as soon as he got her call. Nengi was in tears as she broke the news to him, she is pregnant. This was not the news Efe was eager to hear.

Lotanna also had news to tell Kamsi, he is in love with her. She does not have to give him an answer right now she can take her time to think about it.

Efe became excited, he is going to be a good father, he would be the best father in the world. Nengi continued to cry, he is not the father, Ade is the father. Efe's world came crashing down immediately he heard those words.

Prince Sani did not stop with the texting, he sent Fumbi a message while she was at home hoping she changes her mind.

Meanwhile, Efe does not know how to process the information right now and Nengi will understand whatever decision he makes. Efe needs time to process it. 

Kamsi already had her bags packed to go on the trip with Kingsley but was pacing back and forth in the house. 

She finally decided and went to Lotanna's restaurant to see him. After his last customer left, Kamsi took his hand, it is her turn to apologize.

She is sorry for cheating on him and moving in with Nosa. She is sorry she did not ask him to take her back when the drama was done.

Kamsi told him she loves him but her life is moving in a new direction and she does not want to be hurt again. Lotanna is willing to support her if she takes him back. 

Kamsi loves him and wants to do this with him. Meanwhile, she sent a breakup text to Kingsley, she is not doing this anymore.

Osi kept calling Fumbi but she would not pick up. She was on a ride to the airport when she sent him a text. She is going to Paris with Prince Sani, he should not ask her why.

Meanwhile, Nengi has been researching pregnancies, she left her laptop to go shower when the newsfeed of a plane crash involving Prince Sani and 153 came on, Fumbi might be gone.
