'Sistas' Recap: Season 2 Episode 16

This week on Tyler Perry's Sistas, there is a saying that a man’s trash is another man’s treasure? well, that’s the case with Karen and Fatima.

They had a little chat about the men in their lives when Fatima went to get her hair done. Karen told her about her preacher because she isn’t getting her hair messed up like Fatima did.

Karen prefers her new guy to her ex, he gives her money unlike her ex, who she was carrying. Fatima also met a new guy that treats her well even though he doesn’t have money but has ambition. 

Karen said her ex never had a drive, for a second you will think they’re referring to different individuals but it’s Zac, just different perspectives.

There were some unannounced show-ups in today’s episode, first Danni had James the butt licker like Preston calls him, show up at her house. He was taking a run and decided to come to drop off a canvas he had done for D as he calls her.

Danni wasn’t having it, they had a one-night thing, he cannot be calling her D or showing up at her house like that. Danni wouldn’t even look at the painting but Preston did.

Andi got her show up too at her office parking lot, Gary. He came to tell her he was leaving for Boston yet was expecting her to ask him to stay.

It seems this time Andi is done with him for good, she is okay with him leaving, the bruised ribs and almost attempt to isolate her was enough red flags. Gary is sorry like he always is, he loves her and they can get back together but Andi isn’t doing that this time.

Karen also got a visit from Gary, he showed up at her job to beg her to help talk to Andi. Karen made it clear that she wouldn’t talk to Andi, she would shoot him if he ever comes by her job again.

Sabrina got the nudge from Danni to go out with the new guy at work. She knows Sabrina likes to go out with the thugs, not Calvin’s kind of overly sweet. Jacobi is even pushing his game, he wants to go out with Sabrina and is pretty convincing.

Meanwhile, Sabrina still likes Calvin, a mere mention of his name from Maurice and Sabrina becomes attentive. Why wouldn't she make up her mind?

Ms. Irene is dishing out the wisdom in this week’s episode and Andi and Fatima drank a bit from her fountain concerning holding on to love and pain. 

Andi told her about the man she is in love with, they all know what he put her through but they don’t know the good times they had.

Ms. Irene called it the baby syndrome, forgetting the pain after the baby is bone. In order to love you have to let it go so it can become what it ought to be.

She was right when she told Andi you can never hold on to what you don’t really have, he was a married man after all.

Hayden’s attitude is giving him up on Zac’s troubles, he is so overly sure Fatima would be free tonight and wants to go to dinner with her. Fatima wouldn’t do that and would be coming for him if she finds out he did anything to Zac.

Zac’s troubles keep getting worst, it isn’t just credit card fraud he is in for but they found a kilo of cocaine in his truck. Now more than ever it seems to have Hayden written all over this.
