‘Unmarried’ Recap: Season 2 Episode 2

 

This week on Unmarried, After Kamsi caught Nosa having sex, it has been a silent war in their room. Nosa finally decided to talk about how he felt that made him cheat on her, he was overwhelmed with all that has been happening in their relationship.

He loves her but he was not ready for all the changes that came with it, he did not know not having her children around her would affect their relationship this much, now he is playing daddy roles from children that her not even his.

Kamis reminded him that he knew about all of this when they began dating but Nosa went on. He has been giving her money for her kids and all, he has spent so much financially and emotionally. Kamsi said she did not ask him for anything but Nosa replied that women never ask for anything, just like when Nengi kicked her out of the house all those months ago.

Nengi is about to go to work and Ade is still in her house, he does not have money to leave. Nengi asked about the applications he has made but Ade said none of them has pulled through. She sent him 750, 000 naira {Ah! God look at me na! you are doing it for others, I am not smelling na} before going to work, she does not want to see him here when she gets back.

After Kamsi told Nosa off the last time she went to a hotel to stay and called Somto from there. Somto came to see her and she is crying. Kamsi told her she does not know where to start from, she and Nosa broke up.

Somto thinks she is the one that caused it because Nosa is a good man. Kamsi does not know why she even called her, Lota would laugh at her. Somto wants her to forget that one but Kamsi went on, she trusted Nosa and he brought a strange woman into their bed.

Joe went to see Funbi to console her after she lost her baby. Funbi wants to water it down, it is already in the past she is not the first to lose a baby. Joe told her she can cry if she wants, he knows how much she sacrificed to give that child life.

Funbi began to cry, why did this happen to her, is she being punished for something she did. Joe gave her his shoulders for her to cry on.

Back in Kamsi's hotel room, her sister told her she cannot be homeless, after how much she has been there for Funbi, she is sure she would let her stay in her house, she cannot stay in all the rooms herself. Kamsi does not know why she keeps finding herself in this situation but her sister told her it would soon be in the past.

Nengi came to see Funbi, she wants them to go on a trip to helo cheer her up but Funbi is not up for it. Kamsi's issues are still growing, the receptionist came to remind her it is past check out time and she will be asked to pay more if she does not check out now.

Kamsi asked for a few minutes then went to make a call. She called Nosa so they could meet at an open place. They met at a restaurant and Nosa told her he is sorry things turned out like this. Kamsi says he really hurt her but she forgives him.

She thought about all he said and understands how he felt, their relationship became about her, her kids, and Lota. She was busy looking out for herself that she forgot about him and how he felt. Nosa listened to all she said and told her it is over between them.

Kamsi was not expecting that, where would she go to, she has no money. Nosa said they both deserve better and left the restaurant without her. Goodbye Kamsi. Kamsi is back to square one.

Nengi was about to leave Funbi's house when her mother came in. Funbi's mother has been really nosey, she heard about the smear campaign her former company did on her as well as Kamsi continuing to date Nosa.

Funbi's mother told her she is on her side even went ahead to try and corrupt Nengi's mind on Kamsi, she wonders what they would have been talking about her at home. Nengi quietly told her she had things to do then left the house.

Kamsi moved into Funbi's house, she couldn't keep staying in the hotel. Funbi said she is always welcome in her house, Nosa would get what he deserves. Kamsi said she does not understand men, things were going well with them suddenly she is a burden as well as her kids.

Funbi left to go get her a blanket but it was her mother that brought it with more nosey talk. She asked Kamsi how long she would be staying because they would be needing that room. She knows her friend is grieving, she does not want to be a burden to her.

Kamsi stood speechless as she watched Funbi's mum vomit all the nonsense she had to say about Nosa dumping her, she is sure she would find another man because she is a smart girl. People like them always chose their children and good things would come to her eventually it is Nengi that would not go far in life.

Nengi proved her disloyalty to her by kicking her out of her house. Kamsi immediately told her Nengi did not kick her out, she left and they are fine how. That was enough to get Funmbi's mum to shut up and go to bed.

Nengi is looking at the smear campaign on her laptop when Ade came out to join her. He first kissed her then took a piece of her food, he wants to eat her. Nengi is irritated, she thought he was supposed to have left yesterday.

Somto went to see Kamsi with stories that would make her feel even worst about herself. She saw Lota the other day with a slender chick buying suya. Kamsi was feeling some type of way but told her sister that she is glad that he is moving on.

Somto went on to tell her that she is sure Lota and his sister would want this woman as the kid's step mum and she has to act fast because very soon her kids would call someone else mummy. What is a mother without her kids? {Somto and Funbi's mum I do not know who is worst}

Kamsi does not know what to do, she does not have a place of her own, Nengi might have forgiven her but she is here staying with a friend that she looks like a burden. Somto said she should hide her shame and go ask Nengi for accommodation, she would have asked her to come stay with her but she knows her situation.

While they were talking, Funbi's mother came out, she intentionally gave a poor joke that had a lasting message. She saw Somto and his hoping she would not come with her kids too. When she left, Somto told her sister that is not a joke.

Joe came with invites to a big event that he knows Funbi would like. They became really excited that there would be big people there so they are both going.

Lota and his people have a meeting with Kamsi and her sister. Kamsi's uncle gave a long story to show how Lota should forgive Kamsi and take her back but Kamsi does not want that. Her uncle wants to tell another story to show why the children should stay with their mother but Lota caught him in.

He does not want his children to stay with her lover. Kamsi angrily said they are not even together. Lota quickly pointed out how he dumped her already. Lota's sister began to attack Kamsi, the children would not go to her because women are supposed to close their legs, they society hold them in high esteem.

Somto defended her sister, who told her it is only women that have to keep the family, a man can frustrate his wife so bad that she would look outside. The meeting ended with quarrel and name-calling.

Nengi came to see Funbi in her house and this time she is dressed to go out, she saw it on her Instagram. Funbi is going out and hitting the town and Nengi is sort of worried about her because she just lost a baby.

Funbi said she is not the first to lose a baby and she was the one that told her she needs to shake it off and go on a getaway trip. Funbi made it clear she is elastic, she stretches and comes back to form.

When Kamsi entered the house to talk to her friend too, Fumbi's mum came out with shoes for her daughter. She told Kamsi and Nengi not to stop her daughter from going out, she is trying to get herself in back they should leave her alone.

Funbi calmed the situation down to go put finishing touches on her beauty while Funbi's mum told the girls they can head out now. She literally kicked them out when she said she wanted to go sleep and they should shut the door on their way out.

While Nengi was driving Kamsi, they both agreed they do not like Funbi's mum and they need to take the woman away from Funbi because having them in the house together is a disaster. When Nengi asked Kamsi where she should drop her off, Kamsi informed her she and Nosa broke up.

Funbi wasn't so impressed at the party but got interested when she saw Chief Larinde, he has been looking at her. She told Joe to notice him looking at her, the man rains in dollars. While they were checking him out, one of Funbi's old friends came to taunt her.

She has not been seeing her on IG what has been happening? The girl went on to tell her how she even went to Vegas last month. Funbi would not be caught unfresh, she will soon post pictures of her own trip too.

Ade had looked through Nengi's financials so he knows he stands to gain a lot from her. When she came home he welcomed her with so much excitement, he made something for the woman o his life. 

Ade calmed he made the food for her but Nengi knows he ordered it with her credit card. Ade said it is the thought that counts then went on to give her a massage while she ate.

Funbi's friend kept telling her about all the places she has been too even claimed she is with Chief Larinde. She got the disgrace of her life when Chief Larinde came over to talk to Funbi and even left with her.

Chief Larinde and Funbi went to his hotel room and he wants to get busy immediately but Funbi would like for them to know each other first. The chief does not have time for that, she is not his wife that just gave birth and is acting up for him. She should just get out he does not want any drama.

Ade woke Nengi with a flower, he was thinking they turn the extra room into a music studio. Nengi laughed at him, she is not going to fund his pipeline dream of funding his music career besides someone is coming to stay in that extra room.

Nengi employed Kamsi as her personal assistant, she started at the office today and is really thankful that Nengi is helping her. Nengi is glad she can help this way she would stand on her feet and take care of her children.

Before Nengi went to bed she got a call from her staff thanking her for the maternity bonus she got, she appreciates it. After the call, when Ade came out of the shower, Nengi asked him if he would like to have a baby with her? Ade was taken aback.

Meanwhile, Funbi wants to take her life with all she has been going through.
