'Sistas' Recap: Season 2 Episode 13

Sistas returned today after the mid-season break with episode 13. Andi has given Gary back his money and needs the girls more than ever to go through this time. Trust Danni to always say the right things at the wrong time, she told Andi not to forget the pain he caused her as a way to get her to not consider going back to Gary. 

I don’t know why Karen and Sabrina have to hold Danni’s tongue when she is always right, with the way Andi acts when it comes to Gary, she might just fall back the minute they walk out of the bank.

When Danni told her anyone that who has treated her this bad does not deserve any part of her, the girl decides to bring up Danni’s old shit, hit below the belt. Even a simple dinner at Karen’s place had to come with more past drama. 

To get back at the girls, Danni told Karen it is the same place she shot a man so they suggest Sabrina. Sabrina isn’t so much of a saint because she stuck a dildo in a man’s ass but her house was better than Karen's bloody house.

Hayden might be a good lawyer that helped Andi get her job back but he seems to be the complete opposite when it comes to Fatima. When he handed her the receipts from the houses he visited and Fatima figured he had spoken with Zac. He is quite full of himself making Fatima look like she is the one losing out on him.

She called Zac after she made Hayden leave her office and he reluctantly confirmed Hayden threatened to kick him off the project. If there is any man Fatima is interested in it’s definitely Zac. She wants him to come over to her house tonight and rest. Zac knows he wouldn’t rest, the moment he walks in she will be all over him but she does have a good mattress so Zac is coming over. Whatever is growing between Zac and Fatima I approve let’s hope he doesn’t go back to Karen.

Andi might have gotten what she needed to put this Gary drama behind her but we know how Andi is, falling for the same habit. When she got to the office and saw Ms. Irene cleaning, Andi was sure, not ready to entertain her lecture but Ms. Irene has her ways.

Ms. Irene brought up Paris because she had to patch him up last night and made him tell her where he got the bruises from. Andi is sorry but Ms. Irene just wants her to make her mind and be clear. Andi is in love just like Irene pointed out, she knows the look on her face because she has been there so many times but she dealt with it because she realized she could love it and not need it. Hopefully, Andi got what she needed to move on.

Andi is not the only one getting a rough morning, Karen got her fair share, when she went to the saloon, Pam showed her the credit card bill. It turned out Zac had been charging stuff on Karen’s business card and she is about to go off the roof for this one. Karen called Zac but he wouldn’t take her call because he was with Danni.

Danni wants Zac to take the call but he went ahead to block Karen’s number sometimes two people just don’t work. Danni’s nosy self wouldn’t stop quizzing Zac over his new woman. Zac has moved on with a woman that doesn’t criticize everything he does or look down on him. Danni tried to get him to be jealous because Karen has moved on and she is always with Aaron but Zac isn’t about to be bothered.

The real reason Danni has been about Karen and Zac getting back together is that she would lose a lot of money, she had a bet with Sabrina that they would get back together. Zac is focused on Zac, it is over for him and Karen so she would lose her money.

If Jacobi couldn’t see Maurice was gay when he started working at the bank then he is clearly ignorant that Sabrina likes him. He showed Maurice some reports that Maurice referred him back to Sabrina for. Jacobi thinks Sabrina likes him that why she has been avoiding him, he knows when a woman likes him. 

When Jacobi asked Maurice if he doesn’t know when a woman likes him Maurice had to put him straight, he is gay obviously. Jacobi had no idea, he thought because he was a big dude he was straight, something an ignorant person would say.

The report was just a way Jacobi thought of spending time with Sabrina because she already showed him this twice and he is good at the reports. Something about that scene just gave the premonition that Calvin would come to the bank and he did.

Calvin came to the bank to give Maurice his keys and Maurice had to warn him off using his cologne again, never touch my shit. On his way out, Calvin saw Jacobi and Sabrina through the glass and got jealous. 

Maurice the nosiest queen in the building gave Calvin the T. He likes Sabrina but she doesn’t like him she just wants to have sex with him because he wears boxers. Calvin got hurt when he heard this and left the bank.

Karen went to the airport to confront Zac and Danni being so kind, took her to the plane where Zac was cleaning. Karen had a lot of hateful things to say about Zac. Zac has no idea what she is talking about he did not charge her credit card. Okay, now purse! if Zac did not do it then who did? 

Karen obviously thinks he stole her money, he better pay her back or she would report to the police.

She never wants to see him again and the fact that he took a knife for her wouldn’t change how she feels about him.

Zac also hates her for throwing out the only things he had of his grandfather, he would have let her die that night. A woman that angrily slaps you either is still in love with you is plan disgusted by you, in this case, Karen did not slap Zac because she hates him but because she still loves him even though she thinks he took something from her.

Danni tried to get Karen to reconsider, is she sure Zac did this because taking out his grandfather’s things she can’t take that back. Karen is very sure Zac did this, when is she ever going to take her side.

You will think Gary got the message to leave for good after getting his money back but he has been calling Andi all the time and Andi would not take his calls. Fatima also gave Andi a piece of her mind when she came to tell Andi Gary had been calling.

Fatima wants her to put this whole mess to rest because Gary is playing with her. She was once in love, the guy told her he was getting married 3 weeks before he got married. Andi feels that the reason she only dates without commitment and she doesn’t want that kind of life.

Andi still loves Gary, he was perfect for her, she told Fatima all the sweet things about him leaving out how Gary is an abuser. Fatima had to remind her Gary is married, you cannot really know someone when he goes back to his wife after being with you. Andi got speechless when Fatima told her Gary only wanted her to see what he knew she would like.

Fatima told her about the guy that she met that is testing her pimping, he is interesting but they are testing things so she will keep her posted.

Danni got a visit from Preston’s brothers after she called Sabrina to tell her what happened with Karen and Zac. With all the derogatory racist names they could call Danni, they warned her to stay away from their brother or there would be hell to pay.
