'The Men's Club' Recap: Season 3 Episode 9 'Broken Promise'

This week on The men’s club. Louis goes into the bedroom to tell Lola he is tired of sleeping in the guest room, he called his mum they are having a meeting later today. Lola is happy, that was what she wanted. Louis reminds her he is doing this for her, so now he can sleep back in the room? While Louis is about to jump on her again, Lola tells him she knows her has been having sex with her every hour just so he can get her pregnant. Louis teasingly covers up with the fact that she is a sexy gorgeous woman. Lola doesn’t have a problem with him trying to get her pregnant, she is happy he is going to call his mum.

Aminu is wheeling his suitcase out of the house when Jasmine enters demanding for an apology, they were supposed to have dinner with her mum yesterday but he did not show up and refused to pick his call, she can take the insult but not her mother the disrespect is too much. Aminu apologizes, something came up he had to attend too, he would stop by later to apologize to her. While they are talking, Aminu gets a call from his guy, they have eyes on the man and are currently watching him. Aminu like this, they should make sure he does not escape, he wants to get the truth from him himself, someone else should watch Tumini. Jasmine begins to get anxious while listening to his conversation, the moment Aminu finishes she asks him if he and Tumini are back together and who is the man he is looking for? Aminu tells her it’s none of her business but opens up a bit to Jasmine when she plays 'the innocent friends' card on him. She is just trying to look out for his happiness since he is her baby’s father besides, they are trying to be friends. Aminu tells her he loves Tumini every much and is trying to get back with her. The moment Aminu leaves for his trip, Jasmine calls Patrick, they have a problem.

Mrs. Okafor goes to see Louis in his lounge as he called. Louis has spoken with uncle Tomiwa and he recorded the phone call, that her real will might be a skim, if the Will is fake he stands a chance to lose his license. Mrs. Okafor assures him the will is the real one this time. After hearing the Will is authentic, Louis asks what Tonye wants. Tonye wants the house and also the hotel and Mrs. Okafor thinks they should give her what she wants so they can get her parents off their backs. Louis laughs at the idea, she should just take his life too, he is not given her his house. Mrs. Okafor tries to convince her son, she would buy him another house. Louis reminds her that the money is his money, not hers, he is the one paying for a crime her and his dad committed, she chose money over his happiness. Mrs. Okafor apologizes, she was desperate and thought he loved Tonye so much. Louis loved her, but he is in love with Lola and would give up anything for her. Mrs. Okafor is able to convince him to give Tonye the house and hotel for the sake of Lola. While they are still talking, some officers enter to take Mrs. Okafor in for questioning concerning a fraud charge. Louis tries to interfere but Mrs. Okafor says he should just call Uncle Tomiwa and meet them at the station.

Tayo is pacing back and forth in his house, he heard the door and thinks it is Tiara but Lanre enters instead. Tayo explains why he hasn’t been sleeping, Tiara thinks he is having an affair with Hadiza and also found out about the contract now she thinks he was only dating her because of the contract. Lanre knew this was going to happen, he should have told her about the contract when he offered it to her. Tayo admits he messed up, he can not let her go back to using drugs again. Lanre asks him between the contract and Tiara who does he like the most? Tayo says, Tiara. They are contemplating what to do next when Chief Bowaji enters the house happy to see Tayo his boy. He came to see Tiara as her phone has been switched off for a while now. Tayo begins to stutter again, Tiara is not here, they broke up 3 days ago and he thought she went home that was why he did not call him. Chief Bowaji gets angry, he knows how Tiara gets when she is upset, if anything happens to his daughter he would deal with him. When he leaves, Lanre tells Tayo they have to find Tiara before he finds her if not he is in big trouble. Tayo has an idea of a place she might be but they open at night.

Aminu is about to leave for his trip when Patrick comes in to warn him from going. Aminu tells him he does not have time for this, he knows what he did and he is on to him. Patrick does not know what he is on about. When Aminu leave the conference room. Patrick gets a call from Jasmine asking that he comes over, there is an emergency.
Jasmine is pacing back and forth in her house while her mother begins to yell at her, she told her to tell her everything yet she is still hiding things from her no wonder Aminu is stood her up.
Patrick enters the house and Jasmine explains that Aminu knows everything, he knows about Clint and Tumini and she is sure right now they are with Clint. Patrick is trying to understand what is going on when her mother asks her who this man is? Patrick is informed that the woman is Jasmine’s mother but Jasmine tells her to keep quiet so they can sort this out. Patrick calls Clint to tell him to leave town immediately, he would send him money. Mummy Jasmine is getting really anxious, Promise who is this man? Patrick begins to laugh, so her real name is Promise and she has been flaunting herself as Jasmine. Patrick threatens to take away her son if he finds out he is his own, if Aminu finds out about Clint then he would ask for a paternity test and her life would be over. Mama Jasmine had told her to be focused, she would not listen now see where she has landed herself. Patrick can see Jasmine learned from her, she is just like her mother.

Lola thanks her mother for her help, her advice helped her to get Louis to come around. Lola wouldn’t want to do this again, she just wants Louis to listen to her and take her advice seriously. Teni tells her it is a slippery slope.

Tumini came to drop off Aminu’s account accessories, his checkbook, and ATM cards. Tumini wants to leave but Aminu stops her, he wants to talk to her. Tumini insists she has to go home but Aminu insists they talk. He asks her if she still loves him? Tumini asks what difference does it make if she still loves him, she cannot let herself to be hurt again. Aminu says he wants them to give this a second chance, he cannot waste this love on someone else, he wants to spoil her with his love. Tumini and Aminu get back together, he is supposed to be on a flight but they have sex first, it is his plane.
After their make up sex, it is time for Aminu to leave but he wants Tumini to be here when he gets back, he would rush up his trip just to come to be with her. Tumini assures him she would be here when he gets back.

Tonye showed up with some thugs to the house and Lola meets her at the door to defend what is hers. Tonye tells her she has a way of claiming things that her not hers when Lola asks her why she is in her house, waving the ring at her? Lola throws words too, Louis is not a thing she thinks she can just buy. After the melodrama, Tonye asks her to call her husband.
Lola calls Louis to tell him what is going on, he informs her he is following his mum to the police station, he agreed to give her the house but hasn’t told her yet. Louis asks that she gives Tonye the phone. After the call with Louis, Tonye tells Lola she has 48hrs to move her things out of the house, or else her boys would throw her out.
When Tonye leaves, Lola immediately calls her mum to come back and help her pack, she would explain what happened when she gets here.

Teni and Lola are packing her things when Louis returns home. He quickly carries Lola for a kiss so Teni clears her throat to remind them to get a room. They are moving into Lola’s apartment until they get another place.
When Teni leaves, Louis tells Lola that her mum is the Realest G! Teni wiggles her body, where does he think he got it from? Louis apologizes for making the decision for her but he is glad he chose her. Lola is glad she chose him too, he should have seen her, she did not even cry one bit.

Tayo and Lanre go to the place where Tiara is partying. She is as high as a kite When they got there and would not leave with Tayo until he asks her nicely. Tayo has to carry Tiara on his shoulder because she fainted while they were leaving.
Aminu's men got to Clint first before he left town.
