'The Men's Club' Recap: Season 3 Episode 10 'Game Over'

This week in The Men's Club. Tiara wakes up on Tayo’s bed and is wondering what she is doing here. Tayo tells her what happened, he went to the place she told him and she passed out on him.
Tayo is worried, what is she doing to herself? Tiara reminds him that they are not together, it’s not his business. Tayo does not want them to not be together, he even turned down the contract if it would cause a rift between them. Tiara says he shouldn’t have done that, she does not deserve him, she is a mess and more like a baby sister to him. Tayo thinks she can change, he too isn’t a good person, he was once married and would constantly cheat on his wife.

Even Tayo had to take a sip when Tiara yells out she loves him during their conversation, she has always loved him and it did not start now. Tiara might have told Tayo she loves him but he did not say it back, she thinks he does not love her, he is only putting up with her. Tayo makes her stay at least to wait for her dad, the moment Tiara hears her father’s voice she cannot believe he called her dad and even told him where he found her. She just picks her things with a disappointed look on as she leaves the room.

Tiara is about to sneak out of the room when Chief Bewaji calls her back, she did not see him? Tiara knows it is rehab so they should go there. Chief is about to yell, what is she doing to herself just look at her? Tiara begins her outburst again, he doesn’t care about her, he never even paid attention to the kind of drugs she takes or spoken to her therapist. Chief tells her he had to work, how else would he pay for all the expensive things she buys? Tiara says it has always been about money for him, he left her to grow up on her own now he is complaining about what she has become. Chief apologizes, he is sorry for all she had to go through by herself, they should go home. Tiara wants to leave but not to her house, she cannot continue like this so they should go to rehab.
Before she joins her father in the car, Tiara apologizes to Tayo for witnessing all of that. Tayo is glad he saw it, he understands a lot now. He knows she loves him but she has to give him time to get there, he does not want them to break up and would come to see her every day.

Louis and Lola are looking over the furniture in the house and making out when Tonye enters the house saying they are still in the honeymoon phase. Lola boldly tells her when two people are in love it is always the honeymoon phase and that’s not something she would not understand, she can enjoy her house by herself. Tonye can not believe Louis would let her talk to her like that. Louis actually likes seeing feisty Lola.
When Lola leaves Louis to talk to Tonye, Tonye tells Louis he is just willing to walk away from them like that? Louis isn’t walking away, he is going to be there for their baby but that is that they cannot mend their relationship, after all, she did to his mother. Tonye says his mum committed a crime, she did not make that up. Louis knows that but that doesn’t make what she did better, she has the house now and his hotel, now he has to try to get his mother out of jail.

Aminu arrived in Houston, Texas for his meeting. Tumini calls him while he is having the meeting, she is missing him a little.
Louis and Lola continue to bask in their love even in Lola’s small apartment they still gush over how much they love each other. Louis wants them to get married, it doesn’t have to be a big wedding just something for friends and family, they can even get Aminu to officiate. Lola knows that’s not legal, knowing his divorce to Tonye is not yet finalized but Louis wants to show her off to everyone as his wife, that’s what he wants.

Lanre and Fiona are back to being business partners as usual. Fiona had to address the elephant in the room, are they okay? the last time they were together he was blaming her for world war 3. Lanre apologizes for that, he was just having a really bad day. They decide to stick to being good friends and great business partners.
The moment Fiona leaves, Lanre gets a call from Mrs. Derego, he invites her over to his place tonight, it is time she knows his place.

Louis and Lola are at the police station with uncle Tomiwa to get Mrs. Okafor out of jail. Lola greets her a couple of times but she intentionally ignores her until she passively returns the greeting. While she is thanking Tomiwa for getting her out in this short time, Louis quickly tells her he was not the one that got her out, it was Lola’s mum that called her contacts to get her out. Mrs. Okafor swallows a bit of her pride to tell Lola to thank her mother for her but Louis tells her she can thank her herself during the family lunch they would be having tonight.

Tayo meets with Hadiza, he called her so they could catch up since she says she would be leaving town soon. Hadiza informs him she got a job from UV so she would be staying longer. Why did he call? Tayo tells her Tiara went back to rehab, apparently, she saw them together and thought they were back with their affair. Hadiza knows nothing is going but Tayo tells her he tried to explain to Tiara but the damage was already done.
Hadiza asks him again why is she here? Tayo wants to know if she used to think about what would have happened if they had stayed together? Hadiza used to think about it but he did not, he is addicted to spoilt brats. Even Tayo knows that so he would not take offense in that statement. He just wants them to hang out. Hadiza makes it clear that they can hang out but nothing more.

Teni came for dinner when Lanre was just setting the plate on the table after playing chef. She tells him how her day went, she just finished having lunch with Louis, Lola, and his mum.
Lunch wouldn’t have been so bad if only Mrs. Okafor did not condescendingly try to make Teni look bad. When Teni informs them she ordered already for them Mrs. Okafor begins to say Louis does not like seafood, he is allergic to seafood and so his food should come in a separate platter. Teni did not really think it was such a big deal, Louis can easily pick out what he wants but Mrs. Okafor goes on, it’s not really her fault since she knows nothing about serving guests and doesn’t have any in her home.
Teni tells Lanre the lunch was exhausting but she did it for Lola and Louis. Lanre brings in the food and Teni thinks they should rather order in instead, none of them should eat this. While Lanre is ordering, Teni asks to go use the restroom.
The moment she leaves, Fiona enters the house, she was thinking since they are back to being good business partners they should add lovers to the mix as she begins to untie her dress. Lanre quickly stops her but Teni comes out at the same time. Busted!

Lanre is shocked to find out they know each other. Teni asks Fiona if he is the boy toy she told her about and Fiona confirms it, she cannot believe he is sleeping with her for contracts too.
Lanre tries to explain to Teni, since they met he has not been with anyone else. Teni is not having it, he would have told her he was a gigolo so she could have pushed some contracts his way as she angrily leaves the house.
Fiona tells Lanre he keeps falling for the same kind of women that do not want him, they should just have sex and they would be fine. Lanre does not understand why she keeps doing this, she does not want them to be exclusive yet she keeps stopping his chances with every woman, she did it with Sade now she is doing it with Teni. Fiona tells him he cannot expect her to share him willingly, she wants him until she does not want him anymore, get on with the program. Lanre is done playing this game with her, all they have is doing business together in fact this last project would be their last, she should get out of his house. Fiona could not believe her eyes.

Aminu returns home and Tumini is in the house waiting for him as he requested. While they are hugging, Jasmine enters the house demanding to know if Tumini now stays in their house? Aminu quickly wants to put her in her place, it is his house, not theirs. Tumini chips in, they share a child so she would want to know who would be around her child so yes she leaves here. Jasmine gives a condescending look as she asks of Clint if he has spoken with the man that did the setup? Aminu cannot remember mentioning that name to her, how did she know about him? Jasmine says she heard him talk about the man the other day on phone.
Tumini and Aminu go to question Clint were Sunday and his men were keeping him. He admits that Patrick set the whole thing up to remove Tumini for his girlfriend that had a baby for him. Aminu does not understand what he is saying so Clint clarifies, Patrick set Tumini up for Jasmine, she is after Aminu. Both Aminu and Tumini did not see this one coming.
