'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 119

Today in Halita. Halita met with Mallum outside the house. He is happy that she would be going to school and her business too. Halita is happy too, she would have been overwhelmed but uncle Adi sorry her pa has been helping her. Mallum emphasizes on her pa! Halita cannot continue calling him Uncle Adi forever. Mallum knows they just met but he would miss her, he is a man of logic and rationality but the day he met her rationality flew out of the window. Halita is stunned, she going through a loss now and need to heal. Mallum knows she needs to heal and would not put this on her right now, he would be here waiting for her when she comes back to the country.

Ladi calls Bitrus to ask him to add some paper towels to his shopping list. After her call, Halita comes in looking for Bitrus. While they are talking, Atasi enters complimenting Halita's fresh skin and to ask her for her old clothes, she noticed she has been shopping for new clothes. Ladi cuts in, she is always begging for clothes that are not her size. Atasi reminds her there is tailor to mend the clothes and Halita too agrees that she can come to take whatever she likes later.
King is in his flat watching TV when Halita comes to see him. She came to thank him for what he did, she really appreciates it. King says it is fine, he would have done it earlier but Halita still was not expecting it. King assures her that she deserves it, HaliTea would be a huge success. King has been wanting to talk to her for a while but just couldn't find the words, he knows he has apologized in front of people but here and now he wants to apologize to her, he couldn't get past his insecurities, he made a big mess out of things. Halita confirms he made a mess but he was her mess, she loved him despite his flaws. He was a big part of her journey, the first person to give her a platform to show herself, she wouldn't be the far without him. King also tells her she was the first person that saw through his insecurities and knew he could be a better person and because of her he has grown into the man that he is his, he has never doubted her future and knows she would achieve anything she puts her mind to. When King asks if she has any regrets, Halita says does not have any, just lessons learned along the way, he is a major part of her journey and she would treasure it always. King takes her arm as he thanks her.

Dosha and Hassan are in a restaurant celebrating his new promotion, she got him something she saw him staring at the other day and got it for him. Hassan loves his gift and loves her too, it is time she met his family so they can see the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
Halita joined her parents for a meal. Rebecca does not really like the city because of the noise and the heat. While they are talking, Halita tells them she wants to go home. Both Dabot and Rebecca tell her she has her entire family here, this is her home. Halita tells them Dareng is not here, she wants to go back to say her goodbyes and thank him for all he did for them while she way away and for loving her without hurting her. Rebecca and Dabot tell her Jirasa is not safe, they are not sure if the attackers are still there. Halita says she would ask her friend Mallum to give her police escort. Dabot understands her need to g,o if she must go then he would go with her. Halita tells her father it is not safe for him to go that is the same thing Rebecca has been saying but they let her have her away when she informs them of the escort she intends to get.
Matilda tells Adi his renewable energy project is good to go as soon as the right paper works have been filed, she was able to find the money to fund it. Adi thanks her for it, she would not regret the decision, he already has a guy on standby they would begin the work now they have the green light. Matilda points out how presumptuous he was, what made him sure she would approve the project? Adi knows her very well, aside from her family the one thing she loves his Lufu, it is their family legacy and he knew she would go to any length to preserve it.
Halita is in her room, she begins to get emotional the moment she stands by the mirror. Mallum called her at that point but Halita tells him she is going through somethings right now she would call him back tomorrow.
While Halita is going through Onfo's diary for some comfort, Ladi comes in frantically to ask Halita if she transferred money to her account. Halita did, she read in Onfo's diary that she always wanted to start up her own business, a restaurant so since she is in the position to help she decided to help her. Ladi cannot believe she sent her 1million naira, she does not deserve her kindness but Halita tells her she deserves all the kindness in the world. Ladi thanks Halita with prayers and blessings for this kindness she has shown her, heaven would bless her, kings and queens would favor her. Halita says amen to it and hugs her.
Halita came for breakfast in her pajamas and Dosha playfully tells her to rub it in, she gets to go back to bed while they all have to work their ass off at work. Halita offers to help but Dosha says she has it covered, it is the personal stuff she is trying to figure out, Hassan asked her to meet his family. While Halita is trying to take away the pressure Dosha feels about meeting his family, Bobby continues to paint a picture of how sophisticated Hassan's family would be and the demands they would have of her. While they are talking, King comes in for breakfast. Both Bobby and Dosha see how cheerful King and Halita are to each other, they mended their friendship.

Azi goes to see Schola in her house, she has been crying all night, so many memories. Azi too has been crying, if she had told him he would have come to stay with her so they would have consoled themselves. Azi tells her before Dareng died, they were planning a wedding. Schola wants to know whose wedding so Azi comes clean, he told Dareng he wanted to marry her. Schola flirtatiously turns away from him, why didn't he tell her first was it Dareng he wanted to marry. Azi has to apologize, she is a good woman and a good friend to anyone that knows her. Schola makes Azi go on one knee to propose to her. He does and she agrees to marry him.
