‘Halita’ Recap: Season 2 Episode 109

Today in Halita. Hassan is seated in Dosha's chair when she enters the office, he wanted to be the first person she sees when she comes to work today. After their hug, Dosha informs him she is rebranding D'Uwani and working with Halita this time. Hassan is happy she is working with Halita and glad she is putting a lot of effort into her business. He knows a guy that can help with quality control if she would need that. Hassan has an event that he wants to go for and Dosha agrees to be his date before he formally asked.
Adi calls Skeyen after getting her gift, he really misses her and wants her to come back.
Dareng goes to see Dabot after the meeting with the company. He informs Dabot that the people have agreed to pay 4million naira annually. Dabot is shocked hearing those figures, do they intend to buy the land? Dareng explains that they are leasing the land as they agreed and they can also use the rest of the land to do what they want to do. Dabot is really excited and cannot wait to tell Rebecca when she returns.
Matilda goes to see Adi in his office. She is not fine until Kaza is behind bars. Matilda wants to know why everything is being dragged? Adi informs her that the systems seem like it has been infiltrated and no one can be trusted but he is working on it. Matilda wants to know whatever he needs, she tends to take away his dreams and starve his dreams, she would deal with him so bad that even a wretched man on the streets would look at him and pity him. Adi is even scared of his sister at this point and says he would do as she has said. Matilda says he should have a good day before leaving the office.
Bobby sees his father staring deep at Matilda's portrait. He tells his father he can imagine the lies behind those eyes, this family is filled with vipers and secrets, this is the season for uncovering them, maybe it is retribution for all he has done, he wonders how many more secrets would be uncovered. Kaza asks him what else does he know? Bobby says he knows nothing, but in the end everything comes out.
King is on the phone with his employee concerning why the name change for the tea has not been effected yet. He told him it was going to be done like yesterday yet it is being delayed. His staff assures him he is working to get it done. King gets upset, if the documents are not where they are supposed to be by tomorrow he would have a bad day.

Halita is in the hallway talking on the phone when King enters. He angrily tells her she needs to stop telling everyone terrible things about him, he heard her on the phone the other day saying she got out of a horrible relationship with him. Halita reminds him she did not mention his name but King says people are not daft, they almost got married and that's common knowledge. Halita asks him if he did not betray, because that is exactly the point, he does not have a right to tell her what she can and cannot say about her life, she would say what she wants and how she experienced it about her life. King tells her he has a reputation to protect, he cannot have her casting him as a monster in a frictional horror movie she created in her imagination about their love life. After hearing him say their love life, Halita walks away, she does not have time for this.
Dosha calls Afrah, she did not know she was in town so they should hang out. Dosha informs her about the date she has with Hassan but she is just here playing the what-if game, what if he doesn't like her. Afrah gives her the nudge she needs to go for the date.
Dareng calls Halita to inform her that her dad is now a millionaire, the telecoms company wanted her father's land initially but Kudus told them the land was not available and showed them Zakka's land instead. Dareng tells her he would not tell her the figures when Halita asks for more details, he wants her father to tell her himself, there is how her father says it that makes it exciting.
Halita informs him of the business with Dosha and Dareng is skeptical about it, after all she went through in Dosha and King's hands. Halita says it is only fair that she gives Dosha another chance, she told her she can get her own lawyer to go through the contract and is willing to be transparent this time. Dareng tells her he misses them and Halita does the same too. He also brings up memories of when they would play in the village.

Mrs. Zakka serves Zakka his food grudgingly after the telecoms company chose Dabot's land, it is his seat down and look attitude that made them collect the land from them. Zakka says it was not Dareng that convinced the telecoms company to take his girlfriend's father's land as she puts it, it was the company that wanted that land. Zakka tells her what is not theirs his not theirs but his wife still points fingers at Dareng. Zakka just wants them to leave it, at least they have their land. Mrs. Zakka says they are not being elders, they sat down and Dareng is playing over their heads, now he is dashing his girlfriend contracts. Zakka has eaten the poisonous apple and begins to see that what his wife is saying is true.
Mrs. Zakka returns with water for her husband and decides to play Lady Macbeth. Zakka says that she should let this go but Mrs. Zakka would not let it go, Dareng has offended a lot of people and it be would very easy to talk to the middlemen to take him like they almost did when they tried to take him before. Zakka does not want to do something that extreme to Dareng but his wife is even more convincing, if they do this he can have all the palm wine he wants. Zakka then asks which middleman she knows? Mrs. Zakka assures her husband that she can handle this.

Hassan is at the Zamani house to pick Dosha when Matilda comes to join him. Hassan greets her and Matilda asks how working in Lufu is? Hassan likes working there and Matilda assures him he is like family. Matilda is aware that he and Dosha are back on familiar territories and what are his intentions? Hassan says there are no intentions, they are only going for a dinner his friend is having. Matilda had spoken with Dosha and she could see the glim in her eyes when she told her about the dinner, if they are just going as friends he should not lead her daughter on, she has been through a lot lately. While Hassan and Matilda are still talking, Dosha comes out looking stunning. Matilda has to call Hassan to be a gentleman and close his mouth.
Next on Halita: Huda tells King if he has heard of PTSD and would like for him to see a therapist.
Mallum is having tea with Halita when King enters with lots of questions.
