‘Halita’ Recap: Season 2 Episode 95

Today in Halita. Adi is back at the office, while he is working he gets a call from Rubi's former editor. He called to tell him they have been threatening his life, they left dead rats in his office, his house, to his wife and to his children saying if he loves his children and his wife he should stop sniffing. Adi says this is not good, they need to meet so he can sort this out but the man says he and his family are out of town, they are all living in different locations because of the threat. They both know who would be after them right now so Adi says he should be calm he would get to the bottom of this.

Halita sees King heading to his quarters so she goes after him to try to talk and apologize, she has her hand on his arm as she tells him she is sorry, they live in the same house and they can talk to each other without it ending in a bitter manner, it doesn't look good. King first angrily tells her to get her hand off him, then looks her straight in the eyes as he says he is way past keeping up appearances and pretending they are friends. He told her not to patronize him and keep her act of humility, she has a reason to be here whether they like her or not, Adi is her father she is a true Rishanti after all. All the while they are talking, Atasi was listening to their conversation.
Kaza and Huda go to a hotel room to talk, they keep reminiscing on old times laughing at their silliness back then, they miss those days when they were happy. Huda goes over to seat on his leg then asks him to kiss her and make it alright. Kaza tries too but cannot go through with it. He apologizes, he just has a lot of things on his mind, he is sick of things being taken from him. Huda understands so she just holds him.

After listening to the conversation in the garden, Atasi goes into the kitchen gasping for air. Ladi is not interested in whatever is wrong with her, she should just help her in cutting the onions. Atasi tells her what she heard, the reason why Halita is still staying in the house after the break up with King is that Adi is her father. Ladi is shocked at the news, who told her that? she heard it from King himself, he and Halita were arguing.
Halita is on the phone with Dareng, he was happy to see her in Bobby's office and Halita is happy too. Dareng wants them to get to know each other again. They are still on the phone when Dosha enters to see Halita so she has to talk to him later. Dosha came to talk about the items they need for the products.
Adi meets with DSP Yakubu in his office. He feels they have a good case with all the evidence that has come forth. Yakubu says it is not enough, he can no longer work on the case because it has been reassigned to his superior that has no time for it. Adi is more convinced that they are on to something even the editor he is working with has been getting death threats, there has to be something they can do. Officer Yakubu says this would only affect his career, it is an order he cannot go against.
Chief Bindul tells Takum and Zakka that why are complaining about what Kudus has done when they were the ones that made a greedy man their leader. Takum and Zakka cannot believe he took 2million and also a car leaving him with only 100000. Zakka wants them to unseat him as the Agomo, they are keepers of customs and they can get another one. Bindul reminds them that they were the ones that put him there and they cannot remove him except by death. Zakka has no choice but to lick his wounds.

The youths and the elders of Jirasa meet. Dareng and Dabot are also present at the meeting as a woman give her complaint. After her husband died, Kudus came to their house and asked that she gives him her 14years daughter to marry. The youths are fed up with Kudus and his bad leadership they want him to be removed. Bindul reminds them of their customs and traditions but the youths are not willing to wait until Kudus imprison them all because of tradition so Kudus must go.
Dosha tells Halita that she would grind the sugar, she would call it an exfoliator instead of a scrub. Halita is happy with the progress she has made so far, it is time for them to test the product. Dosha takes the time to ask Halita if she and King would ever get back together and Halita says no, she keeps remembering the day she found out what King had done and cannot get past that.
Adi sees Kaza and Huda laughing and smiling in a restaurant.
Next on Halita: Kudus threatens to hunt all the youths and elders one by one.
