'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 88

Today in Halita. Halita takes a step back before King can kiss her. He apologizes to her for getting carried away. Halita tells him she is only here because she is worried about him, she would do this for Bobby or Dosha or is he faking it just so he can steal a kiss, or is it his ego that cannot take the fact that the village girl would not marry him?
King laughs cynically, when did they get to this point where she thinks he would go as far as faking an illness just to get her, he has been complaining about headaches for a while now. Halita reminds him that his actions caused her to think the worst of him, he lied to her when she asked him, he betrayed her trust and she cannot get past that. Trust is something you cannot get back when it is broken.

King has finally come to the realization that he and Halita can no longer be together, as much as it hurts him he would let her go. Halita thanks him and is about to leave but stops to take out his laundry. King tells her to stop, he would get Ladi to take care of it, she should stop being patronizing and stop being friends with him, he is not at that point yet. Halita says she understands before leaving the room.
Kudus continues to rant about the insults he has been receiving when he walks around the street, he wants to know the conditions for banishment? The elders are curious, who does he want to banish? Kudus says it is that stupid boy Dareng, he opened his mouth and told him he would remove him as Agomo, they all know the only way to remove an Agomo is by killing him so Dareng has been plotting to kill him, he has been looking at him suspiciously. The elders do not believe Dareng would do such a thing, they are aware of his meetings and he has said nothing about him besides you cannot banish someone on your opinion about them. Kudus gets even angrier, he as Agomo is saying one thing and they are saying another thing yet they want to eat his meat. The elders tell themselves they are in trouble as Kudus takes his meat and his drink as he storms away.
Takum tells Bindul and Zakka that he said it, Kudus was going to put them in trouble they can see it for themselves. Zakka says what has happened has happened, it is not so bad, they all know how Kudus is and once they get used to him they can know how to work with him. Bindul also seconds what Zakka says. Takum tells them Kudus has not done anything good for them all he does is tax upon tax, they need to do something about it. Zakka and Bindul say there is nothing they can, this position is for life except he dies.
Matilda goes to see King, he is a lot better and about to head out when she entered the room. Matilda heard he had been ill and King says he is better now, he needed a good meal and a good sleep to get back on his feet. King asks her about her health and Matilda informs him she is on the waiting game now, sometimes she is better, and sometimes she is not.
King joins his siblings for breakfast. They are happy is better now and back on his feet. Dosha calls her brother a sly for not telling her he owned RAS. King is happy he made that decision to own RAS. While they are still talking, Kaza enters the dining room and King immediately leaves followed by Dosha. Bobby is the only one that greets Kaza.
Adi informs the Zamanis about plans for solar panels. Hearing the cost for the installation Kaza gets upset, this would fail in our side of the climate. Dosha and Bobby agree with Adi on his ideas for the company.
Adi bought lots of gifts for Halita and she feels overwhelmed, he did not have to buy all of these things. Adi knows, he did not know what she would like so he bought this much, he has missed a lot in her life and is trying to make up for lost times. Halita tells him there is no competition between him and Dabot, he has been there for her and now she has to make room for him too, she really appreciates all he has done for her.
King does some damage control in his company after a lot of time off work. They need to get their clients back and would grovel at their feet if that is what it takes. Bello should go to Markudi to find out why they have cut him off too. After the call with his staff, King deletes the prewedding pictures of him and Halita.

Halita wakes up and Kaza is sitting in her room. He presence startles Halita and Kaza tells her not to worry, he means no harm, he only came to apologize for how he treated her in the past. Kaza's visit to Halita isn't a courteous one rather he came with a threatening message. While Halita is trying to understand what is going on, Kaza tells her so she is Adi's daughter! who would have thought the village girl is related to him, Matilda is her aunty and he is are uncle. She should enjoy his home and he hopes they can put the past behind them.
Next on Halita: Gromlat tells Dareng she cannot live with the guilt anymore, she needs his forgiveness.
