'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 89

Today in Halita. Gromlat goes to see Dareng. She has a sad face on as she tells Dareng what has been disturbing her for a long time. Gromlat tells him she cannot live with the guilt anymore and has to tell him what she did to him. Gromlat says it was Scholastica, when Halita came to the village Scholastica came to her that they should come up with a plan to get Halita out of his life. Dareng cannot believe that Scholastica would do something like that but Gromlat's crocodile tears and the lies continue to fuel Dareng. She says she was so consumed by her love for him that she allowed Scholastica to lure her into doing this. Dareng is angry and would handle Scholastica when he sees her.

Halita goes to see Dosha before she goes to work. She is about to tell her what Kaza did but changed her mind midway, her father said she should say hi. Dosha wants them to hang out one of these days, they can go see the movie they have been planing on. Halita likes the idea, she has been so cooked up in the house and going out would be nice. Halita then asks her about her Rovatis deal, Dosha says that is down the drain, she is not as creative as she is. Halita says she should not give up on her dreams, she is family so she would help her with it. Dosha is thankful but she has to rush to work before her father gives her a lecture on how you have to be exemplary to the staff.
Bobby is spending time with his son when King enters to check on him. King carries his favorite nephew and Bobby tells him he good at this, his son would need a cousin to play with soon. King does not see a baby in his life anytime soon, he would not destroy another child's life. Bobby tries to convince his brother he should not give up on love but King is not interested in that.
Halita goes into the staff room and Atasi is singing as she is working. Halita come to ask if she can help her with anything but Atasi says she has done everything. Halita spots, Onfo's bed, and Atasi explain to her that Ladi says no one should change the sheets since Onfo is no longer here. Halita knows this not good so she takes out the sheet. Onfo's diary was under the sheets where she left it.
Ladi enters the room when Halita is trying to change the sheets on Onfo's bed and gets angry at Halita, she should not touch the sheets. Halita yells at her to stop this nonsense at ones, Onfo was her best friend, her only friend here, keeping the bedsheet as an untouchable shrine would not bring Onfo back, she needs to accept this for her own healing.

Matilda has a talk with Adi in his office concerning the solar panels, she thinks Kaza might be right, they might be rushing into, what if his plan does not work? Adi is sure this would not fail, it would increase their output. Matilda has a slight headache but tells Adi she is fine, still waiting for the doctors so in the meantime she is taking her drugs. Matilda can see where he is going to with the plan for renewable energy but he just has not convinced them yet. Adi says he would have a second meeting with Bobby and Dosha as well as Kaza.
Hassan has a personal problem that he shares with Dosha. His girlfriend seems to be boring him, he cannot hold any sensible conversation with her they only go shopping and sit back to talk about instablog9ja, bobrisky and Tunde Ednut, he thinks he would end things with her. Dosha suggests he talks to her about it first. When Hassan leaves, Dosha has a sheepish smile on her face.
Kudus entertain some visitors to Jirasa, they intend on building a mast to improve network communication, they also want to renovate the medical center so they would want him to talk to his people about their plans. Kudus is happy with what they have said, they can even start tomorrow because whatever he says they would do but he would still talk to his people.
Rebecca tells Dabot she wonders how Halita is doing but Dabot says she told them she is fine. Rebecca wants to go see her, they know how Halita says she is fine when things might not be well. Dabot gets upset, is she going to see her or looking for a reason to go see him, she wants to go to Abuja because of him so she should not lie. Rebecca reassures her husband she only cares about her daughter and her husband, he should have a little faith in her. Dabota apologizes for what he said to her, she can go see her daughter if she wants too, he wishes he can go see her too if not for the work on the farm. Rebecca thanks him for his support.
Kudus meet with the elders. Takum is interested to know what the people that came here said concerning the development they promised. Kudus lies that he is still trying to convince them to invest in Jirasa, they would need to gather money to entertain them the next time they come if not they would not take them seriously. All the elders are in shock.
Scholastica goes to see Dareng but after the conversation Dareng had with Gromlat, he is not so welcoming. Dareng confronts her for trying to harm Halita and even getting Gromlat involved in her plans if anything happens to Halita or her family she would pay for it. Schola tries to beg him to hear her out but Dareng's mind is already made up, he orders her to get out of his house.
Next on Halita: The farmers tell Dareng they would not allow him to be banished from Jirasa.
