'The Family Business' Recap: Season 2 Episode 1

The family business is back with season 2 following the aftermath of the invasion LC and his family went through when Consuela Zuniga came for revenge.
Season 2 Kick off in the Duncan house with Harris and London having the same fight they had in season 1 as the Duncan family defend themselves. London still has the gun pointed at Harris threatening to shoot in front of their daughter, the gun goes off but this time, Harris wakes up having one of his nightmares of his wife killing him in the presence of their daughter.
Harris and London are still married and she threatens to still kill him, their daughter would get over it, she is a Duncan. Harris is terrified of his wife, she is crazy. London reminds him of what they say about crazy people, they cannot be blamed for what they do.

The beautiful Valerie Pettiford reprised her role as Charlotte Duncan aka Chivee taking coffee to LC as they watch Consuela and Nevada bond in their garden. LC isn't letting Consuela become family after what she did last season, she killed Trim and almost killed Orlando and would have put a bullet in his head if not for his wife. Chivee has maternal compassion for her, she lost her son because their daughter killed Miguel, she is having a good relationship with their grandson, they can warm up to her eventually.
Consuela gets a call from her people demanding her money but Ricardo would not pay since Alejandro is not the one in charge, he would not pay to a woman. Consuela makes threats while he calls her an overpriced bed woman without the backing of the cartel and Alejandro. Consuela would see him soon.
Paris stops by to pick her cousin Sasha. She was having an appointment with her therapist Dr. Jones or rather banging her therapist during their section, something Paris is also good at, mixing pleasure with business all the time.
Orlando is on the phone with Junior trying to get him to focus on work and not let his relationship with Sonya get in the way. Junior says he is on it but he is at Sonya’s again to pick her up. Meanwhile, Brother Elijah from the Nation of Islam keeps watching Junior and Sonya from a block away.
Orlando and Harris join LC in his boat meeting with their distros. Meanwhile, Paris and Sasha go to Rocco’s house to collect their money. Rocco was banging Joey’s wife Terri and is confident they would not kill him for their money. Rio enters with a camera to take pictures of them, they would show it to Joey, he would have a lot to say. Rocco decides to give them information on where to find Michael Diamond, the guy responsible for Lou Duncan’s death. Start talking bitch.

The distros want a 300% increase instead of the 40% the Duncans intend to give them because the demand for Heat is overwhelming and they are losing money when they are not selling. Bonnie the Jew and an old friend of LC suggests LC brings them in the production and not make it a family business anymore since production is a problem for them. LC makes it clear that Heat is owned by the Duncans, produced by the Duncans and would stay with the Duncans.
Harris and LC think the meeting went well, Bonnie is not a problem as long as they control Heat everything else is inconsequential. LC is worried about Sebastian instead. Orlando explains to his father Sebastian's role in the business, he has moved a lot of their product in Miami and is Rio’s friend. LC wants to send Rio and Paris over to Miami to keep an eye on him.
Juan comes to hand LC an invite to Consuelo’s brother Senior Cruz's house for a meeting in Mexico.
Orlando is skeptical of the meeting but Juan says it would be disrespect if they do not go. The cartels in Mexico are also demanding Heat.

Junior is back at the hospital to pick Sonya from her shift. Brother Elijah is also there pretending to be reading the papers.
Harris's constant fear of his wife would not let him eat anything she makes for him. He refused to eat her pancakes this morning and would not eat the lunch she made for him rather opting for cereal instead.
Orlando takes out the loss of his relationship with Ruby on Junior, they are supposed to go to the club for business and Junior insists on sitting this one out to watch a movie with Sonya and their dad. Orlando reminds Junior he is only going to get hurt like he did.

London and Chivee have a good laugh while soaking in the pool. Seeing how good her parent's marriage has been London shares hers with her mother. She has been thinking of divorcing Harris and if she doesn’t do it she might just kill him one day. Chivee suggests therapy and if that doesn’t work then divorce is better than killing him.
Orlando took his men to the Hellfire club and they like the place. While waiting for their orders for the kind of women they want, Orlando hands them a cheque of 1million dollars each. They put their lives on the line for them all the time and they are like family. The men are really grateful for the acknowledgment.
Orlando lets his men have fun while he has a meeting with Kim the Bosslady in her office. Before heading into Kim’s office there is a white guy that tries to get Orlando to go for the triplets but Orlando is not interested.
In Kim’s office, Orlando wants her to inform him the next time Michael Diamond is here. Kim tells him Michael was the one he was talking at the fireplace.
Orlando just missed him.
Consuelo goes to see Ricardo dressed sexy like he asked her too. She came to collect her money or her friend would kill him if he doesn’t pay.

LC and Orlando go down to Mexico to talk Senior Cruz as invited. The Cartels want Consuela to pay for killing their uncle. LC says he cannot hand her over to them, under normal circumstances he would have handed her over but she is his grandson’s mother. Marco is shocked, he has a nephew? LC decides to hand them two shipments of Heat In exchange for Consuela’s life. Marco assures him no one from his family would take revenge on Consuela and from now on LC is responsible for whatever she does.
Consuelo kills Ricardo since he would not pay then makes herself the majority shareholder to all Myron’s legal and illegal businesses and he has no objections for fear of his life.
