'Tyler Perry The Oval' Recap: Season 1 Episode 18

This week in the Oval. Victoria calls Hunter to see her hand, is this blood? Hunter lies, it is red wine, he spilled red wine. Victoria is no fool, she goes straight to the bathroom to wash her hands, she is definitely sure she just saw blood.
When Victoria returns to the room she asks Hunter to explain what is going on but Hunter keeps telling her to go to bed, it is nothing. Victoria’s instincts would not let her, first, she push Hunter out of the bed then raise the sheets and finds more blood. 'What is going on'?
Hunter lies again, he slit his wrist, he wanted out so he slit his wrist. Victoria is not buying this stupid story because of his wrist his fine. Hunter gives up trying to prevent Victoria from knowing, he thought she was the one that did it. Victoria threatens to call her dad if he does not tell her the truth. Hunter comes clean, she was here, he thinks he killed her. He left for the bathroom and came back to find her head decapitated with the sword above the fireplace. Victoria cannot believe he did this. Who else knew she was here? Hunter tells her Kyle got her here and cleaned the place, he assured him this would never come back to him. Don is also aware. Victoria calls Hunter an idiot for believing they have his back she is done cleaning up his mess he should go ahead and clean this one. Hunter thought they were in this together but apparently not when he killed someone. Victoria leaves to go sleep in the linking bedroom.
Don and Kyle are still rolling up in bed when Hunter calls him. He needs him immediately. Don has to stop what he is doing to Kyle. Kyle wants them to continue but Don is worried, he should go Lily is on her way. Kyle apologizes after he realized his radio had been off, he did not do it on purpose. Before Kyle leaves he tells Don he loves him and Don says he loves him too.
While Kyle is walking his way out of the house with his clothes in his arm he meets Lilly waiting downstairs. Kyle has a lot to gloat about seeing how Don would always respond to him and not her. Before Kyle leaves he tells Lilly he hates her and Don would always love him.

While they are still talking, Don comes downstairs, he was hearing Kyle talk to someone and needed to find out who. Don is shocked seeing it is Lilly, he is still trying to button his shirt. Lilly wants Kyle out of their house.
Lilly sat downstairs the whole time and heard Don and Kyle making love. She tried to find reasons to feel for Don because he cannot be the person he wants to be but while she heard him moan for Kyle and Kyle panting she got filled with contempt. Lilly curses the day she met him, he has ruined her life. Don tried to tell her it would not be as bad as she thinks but Lily is not having that. She would be in the guest room and he should not come there for any reason, he should not talk to her. Don agrees to her terms.

Kareem was able to seal the store with wood but some hood thugs keep looking so Kareem decides he can’t leave the store like that. Sharon feels it is her fault this whole thing happened so she wants to stay instead. Kareem would not let that happen she should go in his car while he stays, she can go to his apartment. After a bit of back and forth argument on who stays and who goes, they both agree to stay.

Kyle goes to see Hunter in the oval. Hunter informs him Victoria found out what happened to Denise and angrily throws a flower pot at Kyle, he told him he had this contained yet he left a stained mattress in his room, this is the opposite of contained. Kyle apologizes, he did not have enough time to take out the mattress the cameras were back on and his family was on their way. Kyle tries to tell Hunter he does not have anything to worry about with Victoria finding out, she would not say anything. Hunter picks up a bronze image and warns Kyle this would hurt more if he does not leave him alone.

Sam returns to see Richard and Nancy at the hospital. Nancy asks about Barry and Sam says he is doing alright, he is rethinking his bad choices. When Priscilla enters Nancy suggests that they go home it is really late and she would stay with Richard.

After the President, Kyle calls Don to tell him the president is losing it, his wife found the bloodstain because he did not take out the bed. Don would handle the president but they have to wait till morning to know were Victoria’s headspace is. Kyle asks him about his own situation with Lilly? Don reminds him she is back at home, he should not speak to her again and not come back here.
Victoria informs the head of the staff that no one should get into their room and they need a new mattress.

While they are still talking, Hunter comes to the resident so Victoria immediately dismisses her to talk to her husband. Victoria and Hunter continue their love-hate relationship.
Richard wakes up and Nancy hesitantly tells him Barry is in the station he was arrested. Richard wants to go find their son and help him but Nancy makes him calm down. Richard saw him, the way Barry drove into the store, he just blacked out. Richard thinks with the way Barry looked if he had seen Ruth that night he would have killed her. Richard asks his wife to go tell Barry not to talk to anyone in jail, he has to keep quiet. Nancy does not want to leave his side but Richard insists he would go if she doesn’t.

Don is reading his paper downstairs when Lily comes down. She is about to go to her store and Don is fine with that. They should have lunch later because that’s what they need to do. Lilly agrees to come to the White House by 12 noon.
After Don leaves, Lilly immediately calls Bobby. He first warns her not to do this again, she should not go to bed without telling him she is okay first. Lilly apologizes but she does not completely trust him so he should not expect her to call him. Bobby is willing to help her put the pieces together all she needs to do is tell him. Lily says she does not know anything. Bobby knows she does not trust him but she will.
The new mattress is delivered to Victoria’s room but she would not let them unpack it. Hunter comes out from the shower demanding to know what is going on? Victoria tells him she is cleaning up his mess, he is fool of her trusts, anyone, in this place. She has told him over and over again there is a mole in the house licking everything. Victoria comes up with a plan, she would say she is an embarrassed woman that had a heavy flow. She thought of the plan but Hunter has to do the work all by himself.

Nancy goes to the station to see Detective Jake so she can see Barry. Before they bring Barry to Jake’s office, Jake tells Nancy he and Sam are good friends so he is looking out for their son
Barry comes to see his mother and she tells him he has broken his father’s hate. Barry wants her to tell his father he is sorry. Nancy isn’t sure he is sorry, he could have killed his father and himself.

Barry tells her he lost it, he saw something that could him so mad. When Nancy asks him what he saw, Barry tells her he saw Sharon and Kareem having sex. Nancy insists they thought him right, that’s not good enough reason to want to kill himself and his father. Nancy knows he is going through a lot with his daughter missing but he shouldn’t kill them all trying to find her. Nancy brings up Ruth, he killed her he should tell her the truth. Barry insists he did not kill her but Nancy is not convinced, she knows when he is lying so he should tell her he killed her. Barry admits to killing Ruth if that would make her feel better.
