'Tyler Perry The Oval' Recap: Season 1 Episode 16

In this week's episode of The Oval, Kyle is about to leave with Don’s assistant to avoid the banter that’s about to go down with Lily and Don but Lily orders he stays or else she would scream.
Don is caught up in the face-off between Lily and Kyle, She wants answers and insists Kyle should give it to her since he came to the house pretending to be her friend while he was having an affair with her husband the whole time. To prevent Kyle from forcefully moving his wife, Don begs Lily to calm down, he would give her the answers she needs.

Kyle is about to leave the office but instead grabs Lily and has her mouth covered preventing her from screaming. Don able to get Lily to calm down before Kyle lets her go. Lily immediately brings up what she heard, who did the President kill? The tables automatically turn on Lily, she shouldn’t have said that. Kyle warns her to better forget what she heard if she knows what is good for her. Lily calls Kyle a bluff, he can’t do anything to her she is not afraid of both of them. Kyle apologizes to Don, he is so sorry he cheated on him and made him end up with this person but they can be together now. Meanwhile, Don is speechless the whole time staring at Lily like he just saw a ghost. Lily cannot take seeing Kyle kiss her husband like she is not in the office so she leaves.
Kyle reminds Don he knows what they have to do, he would do it. Don insists, he knows Lily she would not say a word and if it comes to it he would do it himself. Don doesn’t order Kyle to stand down rather pleads with him to let him handle it.
The Paramedics are checking Kareem when Priscilla and Nancy pull up in front of the store to see Sharon. Sharon waters down the situation to Nancy, Barry lost control of the car and they took Richard to the hospital. When Nancy returns to the car, Sharon tells Priscilla that Barry is in jail, he and Kareem were fighting over the gun and it went off, hitting Richard by accident.

Lily drove straight to Bobby’s motel. Bobby and a lady are in bed together when Lily entered. She immediately tells the lady to leave now before telling Bobby he was right all along, she saw it with her own eyes. After witnessing Don and Kyle, Lily is not holding back on Bobby anymore, they immediately have guilt-free sex.
Sharon blames herself, she did not want Barry to go to jail, she loves him. Kareem insists on taking her home but Sharon would not let him, they have done enough, this is enough. She finally gives in to let Kareem take her home but they have to secure the drugs first before they leave, he cannot leave the store like that with the truck still inside.
Hunter still feels it in his guts that Victoria may have had something to do with what happened to Denise. While Victoria is applying her night lotion, Hunter enters to talk to her. Denise was here but that’s no news to Victoria, she already knew that. After talking to Victoria, Hunter can sense Victoria had nothing to do with what happened to Denise, she offered to talk to Denise if she is blackmailing him because if her parents find out they would be in trouble. Victoria wants him to talk to his children, his daughter wants to emancipate while his son likes to jerk off under restaurant tables.
Nancy and Priscilla go to the hospital to check on Barry and Richard. The nurse informs Nancy there is a Richard Hailsen here he was brought in with a GSW to the chest. Nancy is shocked to here Richard was shot, where is her son? The nurse knows nothing about her son. Priscilla makes her take a breather, so she does not have an asthma attack.
Priscilla then leaves Nancy in the waiting room to quickly call super Sam, her husband. Richard was shot, apparently, Barry got into a fight with someone at a pharmacy and the gun went off, Richard was in the way. Sam is on his way.
Lily makes it clear to Bobby she is not helpless, she is moving out of the house and wants to go grab her bags. Bobby wants to go with her, Don broke her heart so they should break his. Lily informs him she is not a tit for tat kind of girl. She only came here to have sex with a man that likes to have sex with women. Before Lily leaves, Bobby reminds her of the burner phone he gave her, she should only call him with it and keep it hidden.
Don goes to see the president. Hunter is sure Victoria did not do it after his conversation with her Don hands him the evening news and Hunter is amazed how Kyle was able to make the murder go away.
Nancy frantically tries to call Barry but her call goes to voicemail. She needs him to get here, she is in the hospital with his daddy.
Priscilla goes to see the nurse they need to see the doctor, Nancy is not taking it too well.
When Priscilla returns to Nancy’s side to fill out the paperwork for her, Nancy remembers some memories she and Richard shared, that man is all she has got.
The nurse comes to inform them Richard is still in surgery so Priscilla grabs Nancy’s arms for them to pray.
Back at White House, Victoria watches the evening news and hears Denise was killed. 'Son of a bitch'.
Hunter gets a bit of relief, so it is true this would never come back to haunt him. While he and Don are still talking, Victoria storms into the oval and orders Don to leave.

What did you do? Hunter acts oblivious he does not know what she is talking about. Victoria saw the news, what did he do? Hunter lies, if she saw the news then he did not do anything. Victoria warns to turn him over to her father if this comes back to hunt all they have worked for.
Don and Kyle were outside the Oval Office when Victoria walks past them without a word.
Kyle apologizes to Don for what happened, what’s he going to do now? Don informs him he would do what is necessary.
The President calls Don again to ask if he is sure this would not come back on him because Victoria saw the news and she is a dog with a bone. Don is sure, he is fine and she would not know a thing. Hunter is not worried about her, he knows they are coming for him.
Barry is back at the police station. The detective that let Barry out takes him to his office to ask Barry what is wrong with him. Barry tries to explain they were fighting over a gun and it went off, his father was shot. Barry seems to have a string of bad lucks with guns.
Immediately Barry is taken to a cell, the detective calls Sam. It was a bad idea letting Barry out because he vouched for him. Sam knows that and wants him to blame it all on him if it comes to that. His friend wouldn’t do that to him, he would try and manage the situation. This is another debt Sam owes.
When Sam gets to Priscilla and Nancy he calmly informs Nancy that Barry is in jail, he intentionally drove into the store. Nancy cannot believe this, what is wrong with that boy? He and Kareem were fighting over the gun that’s how Richard got shot. Nancy gets really upset, they shouldn’t tell her nothing else.
Don is already in the house waiting for Lily. When she gets home Lily heads straight for the room to pack her things. Don tries to reason with her, he is bisexual, she cannot leave him. He and Kyle work for some really powerful people and they need everything at the White House to look in a certain way, they are all part of the plan.

Lily is not listening to Don, they are over, her lawyers would do the talking and if he tries to threaten her she would go to the press about what the president did. Don's attempt to reason with Lily goes from dialogue to violence when she threatens to sing to the press. Don first grabs Lilly by her hair then begins to strangle her.
