'Brethren' Recap: Season 1 Episode 201

Today's episode on Brethren. Kemi is saying the Lord's prayer while Lagos Shepherd and Chihuahua point their guns at each other. Lagos Shepherd tells her he would suck her blood, Chihuahua is ready for him. Kofo just picks his girl and leave the building for them. Lagos Shepherd tries to shoot but there is no bullet in his gun. Chihuahua is about to shoot too but nothing. Knowing they cannot rely on the guns they reach for knives.

Bara and Dag take their mother to the hospital but the doctor would not attend to their mother until they know the full extent of her medical history. Dag tries to reach his father but it is not available. Bara then calls his mother's doctor to talk to his colleague about their mother's medical history. The doctor takes the call into his office so Ire comes to join them. It is all his fault that Mummy T got shot.

Bassey and Mama Jo are in the hospital pacing back and forth for the doctor to come to tell them what is going on with Jo. The nurse informs them that Jo is fine. Bassey then asks of his baby? The nurse tells him they got a heartbeat. Mama Jo and Bassey are happy, Jo is a strong woman.

Dag is not allowing the doctor to carry out his job without demanding to know about his mother. Bara has to calm him down, he should let the medical experts do their jobs. Dag pours his frustration on his little brother that knows it all, if he had gotten the SCU involved they would not be in this mess. Bara would not let his brother put the blame on him, big brother that knows it all, the bullet that touched their mum was meant for both of them, he should remember that the next time he wants to dish out blames. Dag angrily leaves. Bara then calls Bassey, he needs to see him right now. Bassey informs him he is at the hospital, Jo was attacked.

Lagos Shepherd and Chihuahua fight. Chihuahua is able to grab his knife, he is about to get the death he ordered for.

Bassey goes to meet Bara and Dag at the hospital. Bassey moves over to the Bara and he informs him his mother was kidnapped now she is fighting for her life. Bassey does not understand what is going on today, his mother gets kidnapped the day Jo was attacked by armed robbers. Bassey wants Jo to leave her apartment and come stay with him but Jo might kick against it, the kidnappers took her license. Bassey then asks his friend why he did not inform them about what was going on? Bara tells him the kidnappers warned him to not contact the SCU. Bassey reminds him that is what they always say, it has not stopped them from carrying out a successful operation. Bara would not allow his friend to bash him right now. 

While they are talking, the doctor comes to inform them they need blood for their mother. Given her rare blood group, they need a donor. Both Bara and Dag are not a match. She is O+ while they are A+.

Shade goes to BHB and the boys are happy she is back. When Kinto and Rilwan leave, Bidemi comes to ash her what she and Chief did? Shade tells him Chief asked her to get a mutual friend to call Mummy T that Ire has been kidnapped, he told her it was the surest way to get her to see him and convince her to see reasons why BHB should not be closed. She did not know Chief had alternate plans, it backfired because Chief's enemies hijacked it. Bidemi wants to know what plans but Shade does not know, with Chief who knows anything. Bidemi tells her if anything happens to Mummy T they would all pay for it.

Bassey returns to the hospital because Mama Jo called him. Bassey is able to convince her that Jo needs to leave the house because the robbers took Jo's license and is scared she might be in grave danger. While they are talking, the nurse goes to call the doctor, the lady that was attacked by robbers, they need to take her to the ICU.

Kinto has been trying to reach Ire but his number is not reachable. While they are arguing, Ire walks in. He is so cold as he informs them he was kidnapped, they used him to lure Muumy T. Bara and Dag came to rescue them and Mummy T was shoot, she is in the hospital fighting for her life. The boys do not believe him, the story is not true. Shade and Bidemi come by the door wearing a sad look but do not say anything.

Another doctor comes to inform Mama Jo and Bassey that they are still with Jo but they cannot find the heartbeat of the child. Mama Jo begs the doctor to please save her grandchild.

Chihuahua and Lagos Shepherd fight the last fight. Chihuahua is able to kill Lagos Shepherd with his own knife. What is dead would never rise.

Cole meets with the rest of the Founding Fathers. The governor played them and now DP is unstoppable. The plan to kill the Kurukeme boys was foiled, their mother was shot and the boys escaped, Oloriebi and Otunba would not be pleased. Sir Emeka wants to know what the next step is? Chief enters at the point and is informed they were talking about him, his wife was shot. Chief cannot believe this and wants to leave to go to his family but Cole would not let him. This is his true family, he might leave and do a rash thing that might endanger the Founding Fathers as a whole.

Next on Brethren: DP wants to make Amira his commissioner for works.

Shade tells Chief she feels guilty.
