'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 75

Today in Halita. Bobby is sitting in the office anxious so he calls his mother to ask if she has heard anything from the doctor about the DNA test. Matilda has not heard from the doctors yet. While he is still being worried about the child, his secretary comes to inform him that the MD wants him to call the clearing officer regarding the machinery for the farm.
Bobby is pacing back and forth now, he has a lot of things going on in his head when Adi comes to meet him. He just got off the phone with the transport officer, no one called the clearing officer and the drivers are still in Lagos which means his agents would not have any machinery to assemble. Bobby apologizes he has a lot on his mind. Adi is disappointed, his action just cost them millions of naira.

Kudus runs into Dabot in the village. Kudus wants Dabot to rest, there are lots of young people in the village that can work on his farm for him he should not suffer himself in this old age. Kudus calls Dabot his in-law he should not suffer himself. Dabot reminds him that they are not in-laws. Kudus says they would soon be because it is destiny, Halita is his wife that is the reason she did not marry that boy and came back to the village to be with him. Dabot shows him the cutlass he has, he should watch what he says they can never be in-laws. As Dabot walks away, Kudus begins to say he cannot do anything to him with that cutlass. He was a butcher and his skin is tougher than your own, you are lucky I am in a good mood.

Halita is washing the dishes in the house when Rebecca comes to meet her. Halita is in a cheerful mood after her conversation with Dabot, she is eating again. Rebeccca asks her to stop washing so they can talk. Rebecca tells her she is her mother, she would not intentionally hurt her, she did this to protect her. Halita knows all of this but she really hurt her. Rebecca apologizes, she did not know, she thought he was dead and Dabot has been her father all this while. Halita loves her parents, she felt like she was a mistake seeing how they hid all of this from her. Rebecca does not want her to say things like that, she is a blessing to them and to the people around them. Halita and her mother make up with a hug.

Rebecca promises not to hide anything from her again. Now that the truth is in the open, what does she want to do? Halita does not know if the Zamanis know yet but she does not think she would want to go back to that house. Rebecca tells her she cannot stay in the village and she knows the reason is because of Kudus. Her father and herself are willing to stand against him but they both know Kudus is a wicked man. Halita has not yet made up her mind on what to do.
Dosha goes into Bobby's office to give him the good news and the bad news. The bad news is that she was in his situation before that made the company lose lots of money they had to call a press conference thanks to Hassan for helping her out. The good news is that she pulled out of it so he would. Bobby knows this is not helping him. Dosha is not about to be the Hassan in his story rather she came to be his push. To help push him to get a solution. Bobby has already started working to resolve the issue.

Huda comes to see King but the mess in the room turns the visit to an intervention. Lots of food, water, and tissues are littered everywhere and King has not left the couch for days. Huda tells him he got his heartbroken doesn't mean it is the end of the world she is here for him now. Huda makes King leave the couch to go take his bath, he needs to clean up.

Dareng comes to see Halita in the house. Halita tells him she has made up with her parents she is really glad it is all in the past now. Dareng wants to know when she would be going back to Abuja. Halita does not know right now but she is going to stay here till she figures out what to do. Dareng is about to take his leave when Rebecca comes in with food for Halita and Dareng to eat. He insists on going but Rebecca makes him stay.

Kaza comes out of the house to find Huda there. Huda informs him she is coming from King's quarters and he is in a deplorable state. Kaza says his son would be fine, he might be having a little setback but he is not depressed. Huda says just because he knows how to push things aside doesn't mean he should not open the door to things that make you human. Kaza cannot believe that's what she thinks of him. he does not have feelings. He has had to do things in his life to survive and he had worked to protect his son from things he has had to go through.
Kaza gets emotional, loved him gave him his first child then left him with their baby, he cried the day she left like a baby with his baby so when he tells King to buckle up is because he knows tears do not bring a woman back. Huda apologizes for the things that have impacted him and King. Kaza would not listen sorry cannot do anything decades after when he tells her his son would be fine he means it. Huda did not leave because of the man she was with she left because she was sick, she had postnatal depression something he failed to understand it was rather she ran away or slaughtered the child she loved. She wanted to come back but he shut the door on her but now she is back. Huda begins to cry she did not stop loving him or her son, how dare you blame me for all of this? Kaza is apologetic now.
Dosha goes to Adi's office again. He reshuffled a whole department and did not tell her. Adi does not see why someone with masters should be earning more than someone with an HND when they are putting in more expertise, he is just trying to be practical here. Dosha understands what he is doing but Lufu has been used to suits for wrongful termination. They need to slow done on the overhaul and handle it legally. Dosha is here to also prevent issues from like this from happening. Adi agrees to do things her way.
Matilda goes into the kitchen to ask that Ladi serves her dinner on time then apologizes for not having the time to go through her recommendations. After Matilda leaves, Bitrus enters the kitchen to get something from the fridge. Ladi then decides to give Bitrus the task of making Matilda's early dinner after staring at him for a while.
Schola meets Dareng on the part, she was going to his house with his food. Dareng thanks her, he has already eaten in Dabot's house. Schola demands to know with who? Dareng tells her Halita. Schola says he would not change he has already started camping in her house, let her remind him she can always go back to marry her city boy so he should stop putting hope. Dareng does not answer her rather he walks away.
