Halita tells him if his intentions were good he would have told her about it from the onset. King tries to touch Halita but she does not want him close to her. If not for Kaka's death, she would have been married to him, she cannot believe he would do this to her knowing how important Hali Tea was to her. Halita tells King he is a cheat and a liar then takes off the bracelet he gave her as well as the engagement ring. Halita puts them in his hand before leaving the house.

The Zamanis and Adi have a meeting at Lufu with the lawyer after the court case on Mama Uwani's will. Matilda has controlling shares with 55%, Adi with 25%, Bobby has 10, Dosha and Kaza with 5 each. They all agree Matilda continues as the Chairman of the company as she has done. The position of the Managing Director is open because Kaza resigned from that position. Kaza nominates Bobby but Adi nominates himself. Kaza quickly shouts 'Never'. Matilda has to tell Kaza to calm down.

Halita returns back to the house, she would not talk to anyone. When Ladi sees her by the hallway, she asks her about her food but Halita would not talk to her, she just works silently to her room.

King is also in his chalet thinking about his actions and his failed engagement.

Back at the board meeting, Kaza insists Adi would not be MD because he is a criminal. Adi, on the other hand, says he keeps using his past against him when he is the criminal here. He has been using the company to launder money for corrupt politicians. Adi reminds him that this is his company and the only stack he has here is the fact that he married his sister.

Kaza replies that Lufu might be a company owned by his family but it is bigger than him and he would not allow him to become the MD. Kaza warns Adi, he does not know what he is capable of. Adi is well aware but he would take care of all the wrong things he has done in this company. The meeting comes to an abrupt end when Matilda and Dosha leave.
Halita is in her room crying when Dosha comes to talk to her. Halita kindly says that she would like to be alone right now. Dosha can understand.
Matilda is in the dining table when Ladi comes to serve her. Matilda informs her that things need to change around here. They need to restructure the house. Matilda appoints Ladi as the head of the staff while they look for another cook. Ladi likes the jobs she would do her best. While they are still talking, Halita comes in to talk to Matilda. {Their conversation is not shown}
Halita is back in her room packing her things to leave the Zamani house.

Atasi brings out her things from the wardrobe to Onfo's bed. Ladi gets upset, she should remove those clothes from Onfo's bed, she knows how much Onfo hates keeping things on her bed or is it because she is not here? Atasi quickly packs the things from the bed.
Kaza is in his study reading a paper when Matilda comes to talk to him. There were some things Max said that day and she needs him to clarify for her. Instead of Kaza answering her, he goes on to ask her why she did not support him at the meeting? Matilda is not ready to deal with Kaza's pettiness so she quietly works out of the study.
Rebecca and Dabot are in front of their house talking when Halita returns to them crying.

Her parents are going to be here for her for whatever she needs.

Kaza is working through the hallway when Matilda meets him, they need to talk about Lufu and the position of the MD. Kaza does not want to talk to her since they have all ganged up against him on this issue. Matilda tells him not to be dramatic, Adi was just suggesting himself as the MD she sees nothing wrong with that and that is why she needs them to talk about it. Kaza tells her he is busy now. Matilda wants to know when her dear husband would have the time so they can discuss it?

Bobby takes some documents to Dosha's office for her to sign. Dosha takes the time to ask him who he is rooting for the position of MD? Bobby does not know but he does not think Adi is s right choice because of his criminal past, the investors might want to pull out. Dosha reminds him that Adi has owned up to his past, he also has a past, one that involves someone dying. He would not be happy people bring up his past all the time against him.
The staff congratulates Ladi in the kitchen on her new promotion. Viccoco is preparing for his spot as the CTO of the house too. Ladi informs them they would be bringing a new cook to the house. 2. True! I thought he was reformed (due to Halita's influence), now he had to go and mess up! He should man up and stop following in his shady father's shadow. smh
