'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 65

Today in Halita. Adi comes to his office after being absent the previous day. He takes the intercom to call his secretary into his office. He needs all the files he has to go through on his desk he would work on them and any other department that needs him to go through their reports they should send it he would minute on them. Adi is taking out his grief with work.

Ladi is cleaning the kitchen and singing 'It is well, it is well...' when Matilda comes in to tell her to ask Kaka to get... Matilda stops herself in the middle of the statement remembering Kaka is not with them anymore. She just tells her nevermind and leaves the kitchen.

Rebecca is on the phone with Halita to check on her how she is doing after the incident. Halita informs her she is holding up, King has been supportive. After the call, Dabot comes to ask how Halita is doing? Rebecca tells him she is fine. Dabot was trying to put some money together to send to Halita as a contribution to the burial. Rebecca does think he should do that, Halita's husband would take care of it. Dabot reminds her they are not married yet besides even if Halita becomes a millionaire tomorrow he would still send her his little money.

While they are still talking, Dareng comes in to see them, he came as soon as he heard what happened. Dareng knows Halita really loved that woman like her mother and would be feeling really bad. Rebecca tells him Halita is fine, she has a very supportive husband that is taking care of her. She has always prayed Halita gets a supportive husband just like her Dabot and that man is King. Dabot tells his wife that there can only be one Dabot. All of this was Rebecca's way of passing a message to Dareng.

Adi goes to Bobby's office to meet him. Bobby was worried about him they tried to reach him all day. Adi apologizes, he needed some time to clear his head. Bobby informs him about the meeting with the Kuje farmers and the memorial at the house for Kaka. Matilda had called to inform him, he would be there.
The house staff contemplates their eulogy for Kaka, Viccoco hopes they would call them to speak today.
Officer Angulu informs the Zamanis that officer Yakubu is here. Yakubu enters the house and informs Matilda and Kaza that they have the autopsy report on Kaka's body.

Kaza reads the report and informs Matilda that it says here that Kaka died from a fast poison. Matilda reads the report, Dosha was right all along. Matilda wants Yakubu to work on this immediately, they need the house protected. Yakubu has men stationed outside the house.
It is time for the memorial. Kaza speaks first about their loss then gives the floor to his dear wife

Matilda to speak. Matilda, through tears, reads her speech for Kaka. Kaka was here with her before she opened her eyes and stayed with her till she became a woman, through the birth of her children raising them like her own.

Kaka rebuked her when she was wrong and stood by her when her family did not approve of her decisions. Kaza has to go over to his wife's side to support her as she finishes her speech.

King opens the floor for the staff to give their speech. Viccoco thinks he is the first person that would be called and is preparing to show himself when King calls Angulu to talk. Angulu is about to start his speech then Max enters the house. 'Well! Well! Well! if it isn't the grieving family'. Max pulls out his gun, Asking the entire house to gather up on one side of the balcony.

Max orders Ladi to come out then hands her a rope to tie all their hands. Ladi tries to be smart when tying Angulu's hand so Max hits her, she should tie his hands tighter. Adi tries to tell Max to stop all of this, Matilda begs him not to provoke Max.

It is time for us to tell a story. Max grabs his sit then begins his story. There was a little boy who loved his father so much until one day some bad people took his father away. That little boy had to watch the scrouge his mother went through to provide for them. Max then asks if anyone wants to tell what happened next, Adi? When Adi would not say anything, Max orders Bobby to come forward, making Matilda beg for her son. 'Yes, the love of a mother'. They have no idea what he had to go through to survive until one day Kaka found him. She thought she could save this little boy but that was not the case.

Max had one time wanted to let them go until he came into the house and met the famous Matilda Zamani. He knew this was his opportunity to make them pay and was going to take away anything that stood in his way starting with Nenrot. He did not know she was pregnant. Bobby gets angry at this point, hearing he was the one that killed Nenrot. Max reminds him that he is not even meant to be here but he should wait for it, there is still more to this story.
Next on Halita: Halita takes the contract King got her to sign to Bobby, she needs him to help her explain what is written here.
