'Unmarried' Recap: Season 1 Episode 10

This week on Unmarried. Nengi is up, bright and ready to go to work but sits for a chat with Kamsi in the dining table seeing how her moody face this morning. Kamsi tells her she and Nosa kissed yesterday and she feels really terrible about it. Nengi cannot believe this person is the same as her friend. Nengi wants her to tell her the juicy details about the kiss. Kamsi likes it, it felt like her whole body just woke up again.
Nengi gets a warning letter from her boss. He calls the entire presentation the other day as an embarrassment to the company. Nengi tries to explain that she did not know something like that was going to happen in the first place. The boss wants her to get her affairs in order, she is being watched from now on.
Funbi goes to Nengi's house to see Kamsi. She wishes her mother dies a painful, slow death. Kamsi tries to talk to her friend, she should not say does things about her mother.
Nosa goes into Nengi's office to talk to her. He saw the boss come out of here and Nengi informs him that the boss gave her a warning letter. Nosa cannot believe this but reassures Nengi that he is sure the board would not hold it against her, it was not her fault. Nosa then asks her about Kamsi, if she told her anything about last night. Nengi tries to stay out of their business but wants Nosa to treat her friend right.
Funbi pours out her anger over her mother to Kamsi, she cannot believe that woman is her mother, what kind of mother pimps out her daughter to strangers? Kamsi tries to advise her not to say all those things about her mother, she is the only family she has. Her mother has her issues too, the drinking and all. Kamsi is done with her mother, she is cutting her off.
Kamsi shows her friend her business idea and Funbi is proud of her, she wishes she is as strong as she is. Funbi is strong too, all she needs is to make up her mind on what she needs. While they are still talking, Nosa calls Kamsi so they can meet up today. Kamsi tells him she would think about it. After the call, Funbi wants her friend to go for the date but Kamsi makes excuses, she is married to Lotanna. Funbi reminds her that Lotanna has not paid her dowry so she is not married.
Nengi gets to her car and sees she has a flat tire. Weynom comes to help her change the tire.
Funbi completely makes overs Kamsi for her date with Nosa and she looks really good. Kamsi tells her she is really good at this.
Nengi and Weynom make up after he fixes her tire.
At Kamsi and Nosa's date, things are going so well until Nosa makes a joke about her having children and a husband hiding under her raider. Kamsi then has a change of heart. She tells Nosa she has kids and a husband but he is not really her husband. Kamsi then leaves.
Nengi and Kamsi are drinking in the living room and talking. Funbi cannot believe the kind of mother she has and all the things she has done. While they are talking, Nengi gets a call from the security guard that she has a visitor. Nengi tells Funbi it is her mother.
On the ride back home, Nosa calls Kamsi but she would not pick rather she calls Lotanna, he too does not speak.
Funbi does not want her mother here, she should get out before she infects this place. Her mother tells her the truth. Her own mother sold her to her father when she was 16. She got pregnant and had to drop out of school. She had to sleep with those men so she could afford what to eat. She took to drinking to withstand those men touching her. She did not come to ask for her forgiveness she only wanted to let her know the truth. At this point, Funbi is consumed with tears as her mother leaves. Funbi just drops down to the floor and cry.
Lotanna is at the house partying and drinking with women and a friend. Kamsi enters the house to see all of this then leaves really angry with Lotanna going after her.
Funbi and Nengi are at home drinking when Kamsi enters. She grabs the bottle and joins them in drinking.
