'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 61

Today in Halita. It is the day of the wedding and Halita is in her bed sleeping while Onfo stares at her till she wakes up. Halita wakes up with a big freight as she sees Onfo staring at her. Onfo greets her as King's bride, the soon to be Mrs. Zamani. Halita cannot believe it is already here, Onfo reminds her they have a lot to do today, first she wants her to meet the makeup artist in King's chalet.
King wakes up and is excited that the day of the wedding has come.

Kaka seems to be worried about security. She calls Angulu to instruct him to be vigilant, lots of people would be at the wedding and he should be on the lookout for any suspiciously looking man. Kaka does not give him anyone in particular but Angulu would follow her instructions.
Halita and her mum talk at the dining table. She informs her that Kudus had the nerve to ask to come for the wedding after all he has done to their family and her. Halita replies she has not seen a man as strange as Kudus. She is so happy that today has finally come. Rebecca advises her daughter to be a good wife to King like they had talked about, her beautiful daughter. Dabot, on the other hand, is trying to prepare where the people from the village would stay.

Onfo is in King's Chalet wondering were Halita is. Halita enters the house to get a little scolding from Onfo. She has been looking for her they have a lot to do. Halita tells her she was talking with her parents. Onfo wants her to sit down so they can begin her make up.
King and his groomsmen are in a hotel room getting prepared. One of King's friends cannot stop gushing about Halita's beauty. Bobby has to warn him not to say anything that would get him punched across his face.

Halita's wedding dress arrives while she is doing her makeup. Meanwhile, it is time for King and his groomsmen to leave the hotel.
King goes to see his father in the study. Kaza hands his son a wedding gift and some advice. Marriage is not always about romance and all that fluff, it is about growth and building a future for his wife and his children. King promises he would not fail them. Kaza is proud of his son.

Matilda is talking to a guest in her parlor when Kuda comes to talk to her. She is here for her son's wedding. Matilda tells her King grew up to be a fine young man. Kuda acknowledges this, regardless of all he went through as a child he still turned out well. Matilda is not one to engage in an argument with her so she lets her enjoy her day.
Kaka goes to the gate again to check on Angulu and the security. She wants to know if he has checked again to make sure nothing goes wrong. Angulu begins to suspect that she has some information that something would go wrong. Kaka says it is just a feeling in her guts that's why. Angulu assures her that he would make sure nothing happens.

Halita is ready for her big day and thanks Onfo for putting all of this together. After Onfo leaves, she does a last-minute spin in her dress then looks at her ring. King's bride.

In the kitchen, there is a strange usher that drops something into the drinks then leaves through the kitchen back door.

Halita is still in King's chalet, waiting for the right time to come out. Onfo brings her a glass of juice to drink. A similar drink from the ones the wedding ushers spiked.
The guests arrive and Kaza goes to great Rebecca and Dabot. Sekyen and Adi also arrive. Adi greets Rebecca formally not to raise any suspicion in front of Dabot.
Kaka is having a hard time thinking straight at the wedding. She sees a man that looks so much like Max then goes over to him. The man turns around and it is not Max so she apologizes.
Ladi meets Kaka. Kaka needs Ladi to get her something to drink, something cold. Ladi gets her a drink from the ones in the batch that the strange man poisoned.
Meanwhile, the man keeps servicing more guests at the wedding drinks, the Zamanis, Kaza and Matilda and also Adi.

Kaza begins to check his stomach while Kaka itches her throat and Adi can not walk properly.
Halita rushes out of the room with blood in on her dress.

Next on Halita: Angulu is interviewing some people when he sees a suspicious man leaving the compound.
