'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 60

Today in Halita. Halita is in her wedding dress, someone gives her a glass of juice to drink then she begins to itch her throat and cough out blood before she drops to the floor. Halita wakes up from her nightmare, the same one she has always had.

Zakka and his wife, as well as Bindul, come to bid Dabot and Rebecca farewell to Abuja. They would be expecting the rest of them in Abuja on the wedding day. Zakka's wife wants them to get a big bus that would contain all of them, not the one Bindul got when they went for his son's wedding in Kaduna.
Kuda comes to see King in his house. Statistics show that men who resent their mothers make bad husbands. King asks her about the statistics of bad mothers? King does not want to have anything to do with her, she should tell him what she came for so she can leave his life alone.

Kuda only came to meet him and his wife so she can give them the gift of truth. Kuda has kept up with her son over the years, she knew about his addiction and some of the things he had to go through. She asked around doesn't make her a good mother. Kuda tried to reach him but could not she kept writing him letters but his father never gave it to him. King tells her he went to school, she would have tried to see him in school. Kuda would have but she got a letter from him 12years ago saying he never wanted to see her again. King never wrote that letter and thinks she is lying. Kuda knew this day would come and brought out all the letters, she kept them all. King tells her it doesn't change anything then angrily leaves her alone in the parlor.

Altine would not be attending Halita and King's wedding because she has some exams to take. She and Bobby would have loved for her to be here with him. She wants Bobby to send her love to them.

Halita goes to King's apartment to see King but meets Kuda there. Halita greets her and is about to leave the house when she calls her back to sit for a talk. Kuda wants Halita to be there for her son, she might not have been there physically with him but she was there. Kuda begs Halita to be there for her son, he needs a woman in his corner that he can trust. Halita promises to be there for her King. Kuda has to leave now so she does not infuriate King anymore. Halita offers to talk to King for her.
Dareng is on his way to the farm when he runs into Groomlat. She invites him for a small get together she would be having in her house. Dareng is about to give her a reply when Schola comes rushing to mark her territory. She has been looking for him.

Groomlat tells her she invited Dareng to her get together and it is strictly by invitation. Schola tells her Dareng is not going for any party. To provoke Schola more, Groomlat tells her they are both going to the farm. Schola wants to know which farm? if that is the case, all 3 of them would go there together. Dareng has had enough, they are not going anywhere with him.
As Dareng leaves, Schola warns Groomlat to leave Dareng alone, she has no idea what he went through to get him. If Groomlat wanted Dareng she would have had him with the snap of her finger.

King comes out of his room angrily, thinking his mother is still there. When he sees Halita he calms himself down to talk to her. He apologizes to Halita, his mother always gets on his nerves. Halita can understand because she is his mother, she tells him his mother really wants to talk her him, he should give her the chance. King is not interested, he was a child and she left him without thinking how he would have felt. Halita says he would never know why she did it if he does not talk to her. King does not care and would not forgive. Halita has to ask him if she should be worried that one day she would offend him and he would not forgive? King apologizes and agrees to talk to his mother.
Rebecca goes to the Zamani house, they dropped Dabot at a hotel. Halita is happy she is here.

King goes to meet his mother so they can talk. She tells him after his birth she was depressed, she just did not understand why her body could not accept him. He kept crying nonstop when he was a baby. She could not talk to anyone about it, not even his father, who would understand why a mother could not touch her own child? There was a time he cried for 3 days and she could not do anything she just watched him wailing. His father thought she was not okay and took her to see the doctor. The doctor informed her she had postpartum depression and a lot of women suffered from it after childbirth. Kaza could not understand it and thought she was not normal. One thing led to another and she had an affair with one of the family doctors. His father was so angry and unforgiving, she was so young and did not know what to do. King is calmer, this is a lot to take in.
Booby orally invites Eric to the wedding since he did not get an invitation after how close he has been to the family and how he and King worked closely together.
Halita and her mother talk in her room. Rebecca wants to know if she is happy? Halita says she is very happy. Rebecca tells her she has always known she was made for greater things and to think she was with Dareng. Halita replies that Dareng is such a loser, imagine him telling her Dabot is not her father. Rebecca also confirms Dareng is a loser, he is unhappy because he lost her that was why he told her that to ruin her reputation, she would talk to him when they get back.
Next on Halita: Onfo is pacing back and forth in King's flat looking for Halita. She comes in and has to apologizes to the Chief Maid of Honor that her parents were talking to her. Onfo wants her to sit down so they can do her makeup, they have a lot to do.
