'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 58

RIP ALKALI MATT {DARENG}

Today in Halita. King is still leaving the parlor regardless of his mother calling him back. Kaza enters the parlor at the same time King leaves.
Kuda wants to know if he has not done enough? He is happy now that King does not want to have anything to do with her, he resents her. Kaza reminds her that she had a hand to play in this over the decade, she left a boy and came back to meet a man expecting him to embrace her with open arms. They are still talking when Matilda comes in and asks Kaza what she is doing here? Kuda tells her she came back to give her son what she could never give him. A mother. Matilda snares at her, she should do as she wishes. Kaza tells her good luck in her new quest.

Halita is sleeping at night. She has a nightmare that wakes her up.
King is fixing his cufflinks to go out while Kaka is seated with him in his parlor. She tells him she saw his mother yesterday. Kaka needs King to let this burden he has been carrying all these years go, he has to deal with it or it would affect his relationship with Halita when they are married. She is not asking him to forgive anyone just for him to talk about this burden so he can get it off his shoulders.

Halita tells King about the dream she had. She saw her father being tied up, she tried to help him but could not. Halita thinks it is because of what Dareng told her about her father not being her father that why she is having these nightmares. King tells her Dareng was just trying to hurt her because he lost out on her to this charming man. King Zamani.

Dareng meets with the farmer. They claim he has been ripping them off in his get rich quick scheme. Dareng has not been stilling from them, he reminds them that with him they had better sales and made more profits.

If they want to do business with him then they know where to find him or he would go to the farmers in the other village. Some of the farmers say they don't have any problem with him.

King and his mother meet again to talk. She wants to tell him her own side of the story, she did not just leave him like that. King is too hurt to listen to her after she tells him she knows how he felt when she left him. Kuda leaves but she would not stop trying,

Dareng calls Bobby, he has a new proposal for him. He wants to supply potatoes to him directly. Bobby informs him they already have a working relationship with RAS. Dareng informs him he is aware, he supplies to RAS then they supply to Lufu.

Dareng asks Bobby why does he need to go through his brother's company when he can supply them directly. Bobby did not know RAS was King's company.
Bobby goes to see King in his flat. Why did he not tell him RAS was his company? King would have told him about this, he is sorry. Bobby tells him this would have ruined the FAO deal. King says that was one of the reasons he resigned. Bobby cannot understand why he decided to leave the family business that he loved to much when family comes first. King replies that it was because of family he left Lufu. He and Dosha have Rishante blood while he is. just a Zamani. He was just an overzealous staff in Lufu and thanks to Ma and Uwani he did not even have shares in Lufu. King had come to terms with this that was why he left Lufu to do his own business. He tells his brother that their dad found out about this not so long ago, Adi is also aware because he did a little digging but Matilda is not.

Hassan and Dosha are in her office. Hassan likes this new zealous Dosha. Dosha likes the compliment, people grow up. Hassan asks if they can go out sometime if Mr' Mixologist would not mind. Dosha informs him that Mr. Mixologist would not be having anything to do with her time again. Hassan replies that he would not be missed. They are going to start as friends.
Matilda is talking to not so attentive Kaza about the list of invitees for the wedding so she has to call his attention back. Kaza cannot believe Kuda would show up in King's life after all these years. Matilda is more receptive to the situation. It is King's decision to make if he wants his mother in his life and for them to respect it. If he wants his mother at his wedding then they have no choice but to accept it. Kaza thinks she is being too receptive to this after she raised King all these years. Matilda may not like the situation but there is nothing she can do. They are still talking when Bobby comes in to ask if anyone has seen Dosha? Dosha is not yet back from work. While they are still trying to figure out where Dosha might be, Angulu escorts some EFCC officers into the parlor.

Kaza is arrested by the EFCC agents. They hand him the warrant for his arrest and Kaza goes with them willing. Bobby and King are in the parlor when he is arrested but Kaza wants King to go with him. Matilda quickly takes her phone out to call someone.
Next on Halita: Bobby tells Altine that he would love to put stars in the eyes of the woman he loves.
