'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 55

Today in Halita. Dabot takes a stool outside the house to wait for Rebecca with his hand on his cheek sulking after what Zakka told him.

When Rebecca returns, Dabot then asks Rebecca about the peas she went to go get for Halita and she lies to her husband she did not see the woman so she came back. Dabot also informs her that Zakka saw her. Rebecca says he might have seen her on her way out or when she was coming back Dabot tells her he saw her in the village. Rebecca lies again, maybe it was not her he saw.
King goes to see his father in his study. He informs him about the wedding preparations so far when Kaza asks. Kaza does not want uninvited guests at the wedding like Adi. King cannot understand why his father has so much beef with Adi. Kaza does not tell him anything rather wants him to come to see him with the Tea proposal later.

Gromlat is checking one of her patients when Dareng comes to see her. Dareng informs her that his heart has not been feeling well for a while now and Gromlat wants to check him first before he sees the doctor.

She checks him and says his heart is not beating as normal as it used, hope he has been eating. Dareng informs her he is tired of fighting, he lost all he has suffered to build all these years after everything, he would never follow his heart again. Gromlat gives Dareng a piece of advice that he takes. It is not a waste, he has to always give it another try because there is no harm in trying. Dareng likes the advice, it is the best thing anyone has said to him. He thanks Gromlat and leaves.
Onfo and Atasi are looking at the parlor in the men's wing on how they would decorate the room. Onfo wants them to use tissue papers to cover the walls and get eba from Ladi downstairs so the food would be enough. While they are talking, Bobby comes out and decides to sit in to listen to Onfo's plans for the shower. Onfo would watch some of the undies she has so Halita can pick the one she wants then they would get Ludo for them as entertainment. Bobby has heard enough and wants them to stop, who plans a bridal shower with Ludo, Eba, and tissues. Bobby has to call Altine to help him plan the shower for Halita. He would pay for everything.
The youths are gathered in the village waiting for Dareng, Schola has to calm them down, Dareng is not like this he is on his way. Schola decides to go call him on their behalf.
Schola gets to the house and the door is locked. Schola thinks she knows where he is and he has better not be there.

Halita and King have their wedding photoshoot in the parlor and they like the pictures they have taken so far.

Gromlat seems to enjoy torturing Schola with her words. Schola goes to the clinic looking for Dareng and Gromlat needs her to keep her voice down. After her patient leaves, Gromlat informs her Dareng is not here pouring out his heart a while ago. 

Gromlat also informs her that she gave Dareng her advice when he kept saying he had lost all he had built over the years. She told him to follow his heart so she thinks he might have gone to the city. Schola calls her a stupid girl, how would she tell Dareng of all people to follow his heart? Now she has put Dareng into trouble because he left for the city to go stop a wedding. Gromlat had no idea she sent her crush into the arms of another woman.
Adi and Matilda are in the parlor having tea and talking about the pre-wedding shoot King and Halita are having. Adi seems excited about it but Matilda isn't like the true Rashanti she is. Adi decides he would go check on Halita and King before he leaves.

Adi is leaving the parlor when Kaza enters, they face off for a while without words before Adi gives a smile and leaves. {If only Kaza knew they are about to be fathers-in-law} Kaza sits with Matilda and asks her why Adi is here? Why shouldn't he be? Kaza says she knows he does not like him. Matilda, on the other hand, tells her husband Adi came to see family and he would be checking on King and Halita before leaving. Kaza just gets upset and leaves.
Dosha is on her bed when she calls Hassan on the phone. They have a lot to talk about.
Adi watches King and Halita's photoshoot. King on the other hand talks to the photographer about the pictures, he would keep his number so they can use him again at the wedding.
King is on his way out of the parlor when he meets Adi by the door. King thanks him for coming to the village for the introduction. Adi tells King Halita is a fine one and he should always protect her. King gives him a stern look as he replies, of course, he will always take care of her.

After Onfo leaves with the photographer, Adi enters to talk to Halita. Adi wants her to call him Uncle Adi. She is as beautiful as her mother. Adi motions for Halita to sit so they can talk.
Next on Halita: Ladi confronts Bobby for giving her money.
