'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 49

Today in Halita. King and Halita sit down to talk. Halita apologizes for not telling the day when he asked her who Dareng was to her. She had just seen him and had mixed feelings about seeing him that day, she has misjudged him harshly and needed to understand the part her life had taken. She did not plan on meeting King and falling in love with him.

She then tells him Dareng was her first love, he was good to her and always thought they would end up together. King decides to ask her if she really loves him or it is about the wealth? Halita cannot believe he would ask her something like that, she has always loved him not his money. Why do rich people always make it about their money? Halita sees King for the man he is, he is kind and a good person. Halita then reminds him of who she is, she is Halita the maid that was ambushed into their house. King also tells her he loves her, she is not a maid, she is kind and a lovely person.
King and Halita finally makeup, they begin to plan when they would go for the greeting. Halita suggests 3 weeks from now. It is his family that has to go see hers. King is willing to do it the way she wants. He really missed her these past few days.

Kaza is in his study when King comes to see him. This is the first time they are seeing since his return. King informs Kaza that her parents were warm and welcoming. Kaza is more interested in the tea business and King tells him he is already working on it. Kaza wants him to be a man and put the family first, he cannot force him to do what he does not want but he needs to get on this immediately.
King knows and he would handle it.
Adi gets a package from Rubi's editor. He sent him her work but he is not doing it for him he is doing it for Rubi so the person that killed Rubi would not go unpunished. Adi thanks him.
Matilda is having a hard time making a decision about the clinical trial she does not want to go for the treatment. Matilda would not be anyone's lab rat. Kaza wants her to think about this, if she does the treatment she stands a chance of fighting it. Matilda decides to take a day at a time, for now she offers to make him dinner. Kaza puts on a fake smile as he thanks her.

Dosha is being a mean brat as always at breakfast. Halita comes to attend to her and Dosha condescendingly addresses her again. Her bathroom has not been cleaned for over a week and her bathing soap not refilled, it seems a supervisory role is not her thing. Halita would see that all her demands are met. Dosha then tells her she preferred when she was cleaning, she always better at it. Halita does not confront her but is polite with an attitude as she asks her 'anything else' before leaving.
King enters the dining room for breakfast and Dosha tells him Halita seems to be growing a backbone now. King cannot believe what she just said so Dosha elaborates. Halita used to be good at her job, innocent and now all she is interested in is pleasing him. King cannot understand what Halita has done to her that makes Dosha treat her this way. Dosha would not allow him to talk to her like that because of Halita. King has lost his appetite so he leaves with Bobby when he comes in to ask for a ride.

The owner of the car Dareng bought goes to see him demanding his money. Dareng tries to reason with him, the car gave him a lot of trouble and he was attacked with the car burnt. The owner is not interested in his excuses, he is not the cause of his problems so he wants his money.
Adi goes to see Matilda with some documents. Matilda also wanted to see him, she has something to tell him so Adi allows her to go first. Matilda informs him about the clinical trial Kaza suggested to her. Adi wants her to go for it even though it is not a 100% guarantee at least there is a chance that she would be fine. Matilda has made a decision, she would not be going for the trail, she wants to die on her terms not go through all this pain. The trial might leave long-lasting side effects and may not even work. Adi and Matilda are in tears now so Adi cannot bring himself to tell her what he came here to say earlier, he just found his sister now he would be losing her again.

Kaka informs Ladi to prepare the kitchen, Madam would be coming to cook dinner. Ladi quickly tries to keep the place in order after the last time Matilda came and got upset that the kitchen was a mess.
Bobby is in his office trying constantly to reach Altine. She would not pick up any of his calls so he leaves a message for her. He really would like for them to talk.
Schola meets Dareng on the village part and stops him to talk. She sees the look on his face and asks what wrong with him, he can always tell her she is his friend. Dareng informs her that the owner of the car he bought was at his house today demanding his money, he gave him a week to pay him back. Schola cannot believe this, didn't he tell him what happened to him? Dareng did but the mand told him he is not the cause of his misfortunes. Dareng just hopes all his bad luck burnt in that car. Schola begins to say sometimes we go after things that are not meant to be ours and destiny has to take it away from us. Dareng leaves her standing there when he realizes she is not talking about the car again.

Kaza called for a meeting at Lufu with Adi, Bobby, and Dosha. He has decided to step down as MD of Lufu.
Next on Halita: Matilda feeds Kaza the food she prepared.
