'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 48

Today in Halita. Kudus goes to see Dareng at his house. Dareng is overwhelmed that the Agomo came here when he could have called him. Kudus does not mind, he wanted to come himself. Kudus acknowledges Dareng is a fine man and everyone in the village would want their daughter married to him, he even offers to give Dareng his daughter as a wife if he would wait for two more years for her to come of age, Dareng is the most desirable bachelor in the village.

Kudus came to talk business with Dareng, he wants to partner with him in this business he has with the farmers.
One reporter stops Atasi outside the house to try and get information from her about what is happening in the house that made Matilda drop out of the race.

Atasi does not know anything but agrees to call him when she has information for the right fee. The reporter gives her 5000 and his number, he would be waiting for that call.
Kudus intend to impose more tax on the farmers in the village since he does not want to do business with him. Dareng thinks he is being unfair very soon he would be asking them to pay for the air they breathe. Kudus reminds him that life is not fair if it was someone from Abuja would not have come to marry their daughter. Kudus thinks he should start imposing a tax on marriage too but no the Farmers would be the ones to suffer since he would not have sense and do business with him. It feels good to be the Agomo, you can do whatever you like.
Dosha tells Afrah all that is going on with the Rovartis deal, she thinks she might not be able to deliver due to their many demands and guidelines. Afrah is there for her friend, she trusts that she would be able to make it work. Dosha also informs her that Matilda dropped out of the Senatorial race because she has Parkinsons and it is advancing rapidly. Afrah tells her friend she is sure Matilda would beat this, she is a very strong woman and she does not give up easily.
Kaza applauds Matilda on how she handled the press conference. Kaza wants Matilda to take a second look at the sickness. He found information that he thinks would be very helpful and she fits the profile for the clinical trial. Matilda does not think she wants to do this but Kaza wants her to take a look at it first.
Rebecca and Dabot go over their list for the marriage of their baby girl. Dabot takes a moment to think if they are rushing their little girl into marriage. Rebecca, on the other hand, does not think the same, Halita was the one that brought him here, she would be fine, they should trust their baby girl.

Halita and Bobby talk about their relationships. Bobby informs her Altine broke up with him but does not tell her why, rather, he wants to know what's up with her and King. Halita informs him she and King had an issue and he has not been talking to her since. Bobby thinks King would forgive her, he cannot hold a grudge forever. Halita thinks this might make them break up so Bobby tells her to go and make him listen to her, she should confront him with her biggest fear and ask him if he is breaking up with her. Halita then asks what if he says yes?
Adi is in the office thinking about Rubi's story on Kaza then makes a call. He wants to get more information about Rubi's work but the person on the other end does not want to get involved there is nothing they can do about this. Adi thinks it is not fair, he should think about Rubi, her work cannot just go down like that.
Matilda goes through the pamphlet Kaza gave her concerning the treatment. The side effects she reads scares her a bit. When Kaza enters the parlor she informs him she is scared of losing her abilities to speak or walk. Matilda has always been taught to fight for the life she was given and now she cannot believe she is fighting to die. Kaza would be here for her, they would fight together. Matilda begins to cry so she leaves the parlor to go take a moment.

Bobby is in his parlor when King comes to see his favorite brother. King wants to ask him if he can be his best man. Bobby would but he thought the marriage might not even hold seeing he is having issues with the bride. They only had an argument does not mean he is breaking up with her. Bobby wants him to take it easy on Halita she is actually not as strong as she lets on.
Kaza called Dosha and Bobby to the parlor to hand them the pamphlet the doctor gave him. They look through it and it seems like the treatment is good. Kaza wants them to be there for their mother at this point.

Halita goes to King's flat. They both say Hi to each other then Halita puts on a straight face to ask King if he is breaking up with her? King makes 'hmm' sound then leaves her standing at the door.
Next on Halita: Dosha condescendingly tells Halita she preferred when she was still cleaning she was better at that job.
