'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 47

Today in Halita. King totally ignored Halita throughout the ride from Jirasa to Abuja. Halita has been begging him but he would not talk to her. Halita thinks this is how their might be, when they have an issue he ignores her the whole time. King just stares at her then turns back to his driving.

Dosha did not spend so much time in the hospital, it was a minor issue so he would be fine. Dooter calls her again but Dosha would not pick up she would call him later. Hassan wants to know what they are, because he knows they both love each other and he wants to be with her, he promises to be a better man to her this time. Dosha cannot be with him, she does not trust him after the last time. Hassan knows he deserves it so he leaves the office angry.

Bobby is at Altine's house waiting for her to return from her morning run since she did stay back in the house as they agreed. Altine tells Bobby he lied to her about his past crimes. Bobby thinks he told her everything but Altine tells him he lied by omission he did not tell her what happened with Ladi. Bobby has some explaining to do.

Ladi has called for a meeting in the kitchen. Angulu, Bitrus, and Atasi are the only ones in attendance. She called them to inform them that her office has been upgraded with all the new changes they can see. From now on they should no longer call her by her name, she is to be referred to as Chef. Angulu and everyone else laughs at her. Atasi wants to be referred to as an executive sanitary officer as she mocks Ladi.

Altine can see that his silence confirms Ladi was right. Bobby does not think he lied to her, he told her about his past and how much he slept with everything underskirt including the maids, his mother also had them take it out to cover up all he did he wouldn't have gone about calling names now. Altine is the one that informs Bobby that Ladi cannot have children Bobby knew about the abortion but did not know that she can no longer have children. Bobby becomes really sober after hearing this, Altine then breaks up with Bobby, our actions do have consequences and she cannot trust him if he can hide this from her then who knows what else he is hiding from her.

Matilda calls Angulu to the parlor to inform him she would be having a press conference tomorrow and would need to make sure that there is utmost security in the compound. Matilda reminds Angulu that the last time she had a press conference at Lufu she was shot at this is his area and needs him to make sure none of that happens. At Angulu dramatically leaves the parlor, Kaka tries to talk Matilda out of the conference with Max on the loose but Matilda insists she needs to do this.
The youths tell Zakka and Takum that they would make the village ungovernable if they do not talk to Kudus concerning all his new laws and rules. Takum and Zakka beg the youths to be calm they would talk to Kudus. Dareng reminds the council that even an elastic rope has a breaking point. Azi thanks his friend for coming after he told him he would not be there. Dareng has decided to move on, Halita has moved on too so there is no point holding on to her.

Gromlat goes to see Dareng and he begins to talk about matters of the heart. Meanwhile, Schola watches them from a distance as they talk.
Halita and King return home and Kaka welcomes them to the house. Onfo comes to greet them and can sense the tension between the love birds as well as Kaka.
Angulu warns his daughter that there would be a press conference in the compound tomorrow and he does not want to see her anywhere around the premises so she does not cause one of her usual troubles.

Schola stops Gromlat as she leaves Dareng's house. Schola reminds Gromlat that Dareng is her business and she would do anything to protect her business. Schola threatens to pull out Gromlat's hair if she does not stop playing games.
Matilda holds the press conference announcing she would be dropping out of the senatorial race to attend to her family. She allows the press to ask some questions like if she dropped out of the race because of her brother and what are the family issues that made her drop from the race. Matilda does not answer does question.

Adi is in the office having a call with someone he wants to be on the lookout for Max in the compound because his sister is having a press conference. He too wants to catch Max. While he is still on the phone, Sekyen returns back to work. She knows he missed her around here while she was away. Sekyen thanks Adi for all the messages he sent her while she was ill. Sekyen then moves over to Adi's table, hugs and perks him before leaving the office.

Halita goes to King's flat so they can talk. She cannot believe he is letting his anger get in the way of them talking. King informs her that anger does not quantify how he is feeling. He asked her about Dareng and she lied to his face, he cannot trust someone that lied to him. Halita wants King to give her time to explain but he is not interested in that, he wants her to leave. King opens the door for her, he was busy when she came in and would like to go back to what he was doing. Halita quietly leaves the flat.
Next on Halita: Dabot thinks they are rushing Halita into marriage but Rebecca tells him she would be fine, besides she was the one that brought him to them.
