'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 45

In today's episode of Halita. King eats with Halita's family and he enjoyed his dinner. King is about to head to a guesthouse they passed on their way here but Dabot and his wife tell him to stay with them, it is too late for him to go to the guesthouse because it is not safe out there. King then agrees to stay.

Matilda and Kaza return laughing about something that happened while they were at dinner. They keep replaying the moment and laughing so hard. Matilda missed the time when they could laugh like this like they had no care in the world. Kaza also misses it.

While they continue to laugh at all that happened, Dosha and Bobby enter demanding to know what is going on? Kaza and Matilda do not answer them, they just laugh their way into their out of the parlor.

King's first night in Jirasa is filled with mixed feelings. When King enters the room with his lamp he meets a bare mattress and a pillow on the floor, something completely different from what he is used too back at home. He just sinks into his bed but has a smile on his face before he calls it a night.

Rebecca made a ceremonious breakfast for the family this morning and Dabot is complimenting the meal. She should be making their breakfast like this all the time. Rebecca mistakenly slips that Dabot was kidnapped then tries to cover it up but Halita has heard a lot to demand to know why they kept it a secret that Dabot was kidnapped. Rebecca and Dabot apologize to Halita for keeping it to themselves. While they are talking, King comes to join them for breakfast.
Dareng returns to the village after his trip to Abuja and the villager are too welcoming.

Kudus wakes up early in the morning dressed in his ceremonial clothes then sends walshek to go call Halita for him. Walshek reminds him that Halita came with a suitor and he is a very big man. Kudus's mood automatically changes then he tells his friend to go with some youths to go summon Halita's suitor.
Kudus's messengers go to Dabot's to call King but Halita and Dabot would not let him go, Kudus has no right to summon his guest. King insists ongoing so he would not bring any problem to them. Dabot then decides he would go with him to know what all of this is about.

King and Dabot meet with Kudus's in his palace under the tree. Kudus claims he is the chief security officer of this village and as Chief Security officer he needs to come pay homage to him on his arrival here. Kudus does not blame King because Dabot was the one to have told him all these things. Kudus insists that King is supposed to bring gifts to him as he came to his village so King brings out a bundle of money and hands it to him. Kudus begins to stutter after seeing the money.
Atasi informs Ladi that Kaka needs her to send food to Altine in the men's wing. Ladi gets confrontational, did she tell her to take it herself or she actually asked her to take it.
Ladi takes the food to Altine while Altine is on the phone with her friend. Ladi gets impatient as she is waiting for her to take her food. Ladi then gets really rude, drops the food on the couch for her then walks away leaving Altine speechless as to what just happened.
Dareng is eating with Azi when he informs him Halita is back in the village. Dareng is not interested in all of that he just decides to go see Dabot.

King and Dabot return to a waiting Halita and Rebecca. King then asks Halita to take him to the waterfall. Halita becomes a bit hesitant because this used to be her and Dareng's thing. She tells King he just came back and the distance to the waterfall is far from here he would have lots of pain by the time they are back. King still insists, he really wants to see it.
Altine calls Ladi back to talk to her. She knows there has always been some kind of tension between them and she is not one to pull ranks even though she is with Bobby but she has had enough and thinks it is time she addresses it. Altines then tells Ladi she is not her younger sister and she does not intend treating her like one but she demands that she respects her. Ladi gets defensive, she knows her work and she knows who she is answerable too. Altine then decides she would have this conversation with either Bobby, King, Kaka or her boss. Ladi then gets a few her senses, she did not say that oh. Altine wants to know why she is so bitter.

Dabot is getting worried that Halita and King are not back yet, with Kudus and all his troubles. Dabot decides to go look for them if they do not come back in the next hour. While he and Rebecca are still talking, Dareng enters. Rebecca feels a bit guilty that he is here at this time but still invites him to stay and eat with them. Dareng heard Halita was around so he came to greet her, he also asks Dabot who owns the car he saw outside the house. When Dabot tells Dareng it belongs to Halita's fiance Dareng's mood totally changes.
Next on Halita: Dareng runs into King and Halita as they return from their walk to the waterfall. When King tells him Halita took him to the waterfall, Dareng gets angry asking Halita she took him to their waterfall.
