'Brethren' Recap: Season 1 Episode 136

Today in Brethren. Dag watches the video Imabong sent again. He is watching it when Amaka enters. She can see he is not in the best frame of mind to talk about the purchase orders she came to show him so Amaka ushers him the couch so he can talk to her about it. Dag does not want to talk to about it. Sir K enters the office so Amaka leaves for them to talk. Dag informs Sir K that something big is coming and he needs to be prepared for it, he would feel him in on it later but for now, he needs him to get a hacker that can trace where Imabong sent the video from, he needs to find his son.
Bara goes straight to Fiona's desk with information on doctor Shitta. His wife just filed a missing person report and she needs him to look into it. Bassey enters the office too and Bara wants him to follow the lead on Dr. Shitta's missing person report. Bassey can see that all the persons connected to MOP are ending up dead or missing. Keem also enters with no information on Chihuahua. Bara also says he has not been able to reach Kofo too. They notice Jo is still having sections with Dr. Lang.

The homicide officer in charge of Odogwu and Linda's case comes to the hospital to inform them that they have concluded all their investigations and their testimony corroborates so they would be closing the case. Linda is happy, but Cynthia tells her one down one more to go. The NEA wants to subpoena her to come to testify concerning the drugs. Linda knows if she talks she is dead so Cynthia tells her to talk to Bara about it, he would help.

Amaka wakes up to see Dag moody in the parlor. She plays him a video of him and Max to at least cheer him up.
Kemi has been trying so hard to reach Kofo but he would not answer. Chihuahua wakes up and she is a bit fine. Kemi then asks her how she came about the bruises and she tells her it was her Ex. He came to the house drunk asking for them to get back together and when she refused he lashed out on her. Kemi wants her to go to the police with this but Chihuahua refuses.

Jo finished her section with Dr. Lang and feels a lot better and cheerful. Bassey also comes out and wants to tell her about his section but Jo tells him it is supposed to be private about his personal thoughts. Bassey feels embarrassed so he moves over to Chacha to talk to her. This makes Jo sad again.

Mummy T got her husband a nice drink for him. Chief then informs her that he has been thinking of taking a break from all of this, he needs to rest. Chief has put the word out that he has left the country so no one would bother him. Mummy T does not understand why he would do that when he could have just said he did not want to be disturbed. Chief claims they would still disturb him. He leaves to go get a glass for the drink so Tina would not ask more questions.

The CP goes to the SCU to talk to Bara. He needs a report on the MOP and the attack on his life. Bara informs him that they are following a lead on Dr. Shitta who they think has been funding the MOP. The CP freezes the moment Shitta's name is mentioned then immediately tells Bara he needs good results before the primaries or else he should turn in his resignation letter.

Bara has a meeting with Jo and Bassey in his office. He has a theory that the CP might be involved with the MOP after seeing how he froze when he mentioned Shitta's name. Bassey and Jo did not notice that. Bara then tries to show them the link. First, the CP made a press release without consulting them to jeopardize their investigation then the SCID took away their lead suspect and they have not heard from him again. Bassey and Jo think Bara is reaching, why would the CP be involved when there was an attack on his life. Bara decides to let it rest then.
Mummy T is in her office when Shade drags Taye, Ocholi, and Kinto into her office for fighting. Mummy T then decides that the boys attend her sex education class and also be given more work since they have too much time on their hands. After they leave, Kemi enters, her missing machine has been an issue for her, she has some customers she has to deliver too. Mummy T wants her to rent the machine for now until they can find the missing one.
Mummy T then calls Bara so he can give the boys the talk. He is willing too but until his mother tells him it is 'The Talk' Bara tries to talk his away out of it but his mum insists so Bara agrees.
Cynthia is in Bara's office while he talks to his mother. After the call, she just laughs at him because she thinks it is sweet. Cynthia informs him about the subpoena for Linda, she is scared for her life if she testifies. Bara would talk to the head of the NEA for her. Cynthia thanks him, this is something his father would do. Bara moves over to hug his girlfriend, he is here for her.
Kofo goes to see Kemi in her house. He has been staying in the water factory and his phone died that is why she could not reach him. Kofo has been preparing for them, he really wants them to go to Ghana permanently. Chihuahua comes out of the toilet after she hears Ghana.

Next on Brethren: Bara begins the lecture on sex education and the boys begin to laugh.
Oorkele calls Chief for the boys or there would be consequences.
