'Brethren' Recap: Season 1 Episode 135

Today in Brethren. Ocholi still clutches to the bag like his life depended on and would not let go. Mummy T orders him to open the bag but he still would not. It takes the pressure from the boys to get the bag from his hand. When the contents of the bag fall down, it is adult magazines so the boys grab them in excitement. Ire has to take the magazines from the boys as the good head boy that he is.
DP is ready to throw in the towel. She wants Femi to get in touch with the Governor to inform him that she quits, she is no longer interested in all of this, she is tired.
Chief and the founding fathers talk about how they would handle the MOP scourge when a note comes in from Oloriebi. Otunba reads the note, he wants them to appoint a protege each that would represent them in their work here. They all need to leave town because the ripper is around.
Cynthia goes to see her sister at the hospital. They are talking when an officer enters the room unannounced to inform her Odogwu succumbed to his injuries and died. He wants to know what happened that night seeing her sister said she came in and found them like that. Linda narrates that her husband has always beaten and raped her through the course of their marriage. He was about doing it again when she ran to the kitchen to get a knife not knowing he had a knife too. Linda guessed she stabbed him twice when the officer asks her how many times she stabbed her husband.
Dag is in the office with Amaka. She pours him a drink and Dag begins to think the worst might be happening to Max right now. Amaka reminds him Max would be fine, he is with his mother. Dag appreciates the way she has faith in Imabong, They are still talking when Imabong sends Amaka a video that she wants her to show Dag too. Max and herself are fine, she had to do what she did to take her son away for his sake. She does not want Dag to come looking for them because he would not find them. If Max is old enough and wants to have anything to do with Dag he can decide that, for now, they should enjoy themselves. After the video, Dag gets a message, he has to go now.
Bara is waiting for his brother to show up at a restaurant for lunch but Dag doesn't rather he calls him to inform him something came up, they should do lunch tomorrow. Before Bara leaves the restaurant he runs into an old friend of his, Bayo {The same person that is the face} Bara does not remember him so he calls his nickname for him 'Headmaster' They go way back.
Bidemi returns to BHB and is informed that Mummy T has been looking for him. Shade and Mummy T search his bag but they do not find anything inside. Bidemi informs them he went to see his girlfriend when Shade demands to know where he went too. After Bidemi leaves, Mummy T tells Shade that they need to have The Talk. First, it was adult magazines now Bidemi has a girlfriend. Shade does not want them to have the talk, it is always too sensitive but Tina insists.
Bara and Bayo catch up on old times. Bara has to do a video call to inform Dag who he ran into. Bayo claims he went out of the country to do his masters now he is back and runs a company called Dark Phoenix, they run complex issues and they are working on a program that would change the banking sector in the country. He came back to Lagos to blow. {Off course he did come back so he can blow the entire place up}
Bassey tries to level with Jo in the locker room. He asks her if she wants him but Jo says nothing making Bassey leave angry, she should forget he asked all of that. As Bassey leaves, Jo says to herself she wants him more than ever now.
The nurse finishes with Linda then ushers the NEA officers into the room. They want to ask her about the drugs they found and Cynthia wears her wig and gown immediately to defend her sister. It was her husband that was dealing with drugs they should leave her alone and look into Odogwu. The NEA officers decide they would keep the file open and get back to her if anything comes up.
After the NEA officers leaves, Bara enters. He tells them not to worry he would hand them the file they have on Odogwu. He was married before, did drugs, killed his ex-wife then changed his name when he skipped town. His file is enough to make anyone know he is guilty of all of this.
Dag goes to see his father at the house. His father tells him the whole truth. He and the founding fathers have been the ones behind Aja Isale Eko and the MOP. Dag cannot believe he worked with his father this long and he did not know all of this. Chief tells his son it is time for him to take over from him because he and the rest of his colleagues have to skip town, the MOP leader went in over his head and started picking them one by one to kill. Dag is ready to take over from his father for the good of the family. Chief and his son drink to it.
Next on Brethren: Dag wants Sir K to get a hacker to find out where Imabong sent the video from.
The CP tells Bara to give him results or turn in his resignation.
