Halita Season 2 Episode 31 Recap

In today's episode of Halita. Kaza goes back to Rubi's house but he is not happy with her. Why did she grant Adi an interview? Rubi could not pass off the opportunity of doing Adi's interview when Adi reached out to her. Kaza tells her she has no idea what she has done. She would have at least given him a heads up, this would affect his business and his wife. Rubi gets upset when he mentions his wife. She orders Kaza to leave her house and return to his wife. Kaza tries to apologize for what he said but she would not listen.
As Kaza leaves, Rubi takes out her phone to make a call.

Adi returns to Matilda, he knows he touched her with the interview. Adi informs her he had to tell his story, he was so angry and did not know who to trust. Matilda does not understand why he would be angry and not trust her. She has missed them all these years, since the accident she has always wished for a miracle that they would return home. Matilda wished she had convinced their father to not get on that plane that day or change the vacation destination. It is really emotional for Adi and Matilda, Adi tells her he is so sorry for how he treated her, he is glad he has his sister back now. Matilda feels the same. They both have teary eyes as they talk.

During breakfast the next they, Bobby brings up Adi and his interview. Their uncle was dropping lots of bars during the interview. Kaza is about to say something when Adi walks in to join them at the dining table. Matilda informs them Adi slept in the house last night, they were talking late into the night so she offered that he spend the night in the house. Bobby tells his uncle he has a lot in common with him, he too has served time in prison too. Bobby spent one night while Adi did 8years but jail is jail though. Adi tells his nephew that jail is not a place to be.
Dareng goes to Dabot and Rebecca's house to take Dabot to the local government council. As usual, Dareng's car would not start immediately like it always does.
Schola sees Azi pushing water for Gromlat and is quick to remind him that she once asked him to carry water for her and he refused. After Gromlat walks off, Azi informs Schola that he really likes Gromlat. Schola approves of their relationship, he deserves a nurse like her. {What better way to get rid of your competition than by getting them hooked on someone else}
Adi is about to inform Matilda about something concerning Kaza when he noticed Matilda drifting in and out of reality. Adi goes on to ask his sister what the doctors told her. She has Parkinson and it is stage 2.

Kaza's phone has been blowing up non-stop. He gets a call informing in about a corruption scandal concerning Lufu group. Kaza is trying to get to the bottom of things when Matilda enters is office depending for explanations, why her company is in the news concerning a corruption scandal? Kaza is telling his wife this is the work of a trouble maker when his Excellency calls Kaza to handle this scandal or he would do it for him.
Adi is driving in his car when he gets the news of Lufu group being involved in a corruption scandal worth billions of naira.

Halita goes to King's flat and there are tons of white balloons all over the room with a note saying 'Read me' Halita reads the note and there is another instruction for her to press play in the remote control. Halita does what she is told and there is a lady on the screen reading out a love message for Halita. After she finishes she makes Halita turn around to a kneeling King. King asks Halita to marry him, she is the best thing that has happened to his life. Halita says Yes.
Dareng and Dabot her ambushed by bandits on a lonely road.

Rubi's editor calls her to applaud her for a job well done. The article has kept the office busy all day, now the people in this scandal would not look forward to going to work Monday morning. "Burn Lufu Burn"
Dareng's car is set on fire.
