'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 39

In today's episode of Halita. Halita shows the picture from her photoshoot to Onfo and Ladi also sees them. Onfo thinks it is engagement pictures but Halita informs her it is for her tea. The pictures need a face and since she ones trended on Instagram so she had to use hers. Onfo is happy for her friend but Ladi says nothing as she grins in jealousy. Typical Ladi.

Dosha goes to Bobby's room and he is in a bit of pain. Dosha is willing to give Bobby a massage but he would be taking it from his therapist and not her hand, Dosha's hands have seen so many battles. Dosha playfully slaps her brother on his leg.
The reason she came was to talk to him about her dad. He wanted to buy the remaining 5% of her shares but she refused. Dosha has the idea that Lufu would soon sink with all that is happening and she wants to do something of her own not collect handouts like she has always done. Dosha does not trust their dad even though he is their dad.
Matilda is in the parlor when Kaza comes to meet her. He first asks how she is feeling then tells her the main reason he came. He has been meaning to tell her this for a while now. Kaza apologizes to Matilda for his affair with Rubi. He broke his vows and hurt her and the family but he wants to make it right to them, no matter what it takes he would make it up to her. Matilda listens sternly.

Rebecca sees a man on her farm working and he tells her it was the Agomo that sent him. Rebecca orders the man to leave her farm or else she would break his head. Rebecca picks up a stone to chase the man.

Dosha sits with her mother to talk. First, she apologizes to her for not seeing her since she broke the news she has been really scared. Matilda wants her daughter to rest easy she would only stop fighting when she leaves this earth. Matilda also tells her about her conversation with King and Dosha is surprised like we all were. Matilda gets emotional when she remembers King has always done this in the past by bringing gifts to her. Matilda then asks her why she sold her shares to Adi? Dosha wants her mother to trust her, she made the right decision to sell her shares to Adi. He loves Lufu and there was no other person she would have sold too.
Bobby and Halita finally talk since the news of the engagement. Bobby wants to know how King faired with the proposal and Halita tells him on a scale of 1-10 she would give King 20, it was romantic. Bobby cannot believe this, he never knew King had it in him.
Kaka sends Viccoco to go to the store to get somethings for the house. Viccoco requests he goes with Atasi claiming Atasi would help ground him when they go to the market. Kaka sees reason with him and allows him to go with her. It would be a good way for her to know the stores.
Rebecca goes to Dareng to talk about all the things Kudus has been doing. Dareng cannot believe Kudus would go this far in trying to take her land. Rebecca can see why Dabot was trying so hard to stop Kudus from becoming the Agomo. Dareng would not let him take her land away, they should go to the elders to talk to him maybe he would listen.
Dooter comes to the house to see Dosha. After the last time he was here, he had to go back home and revaluate his charisma and life choices. Dooter wants to be there for Dosha, he knows she is going through a lot right now. Dosha apologizes for pushing him away all this while she would make up for it.

Angulu keeps watching how Bitrus and Viccoco keep going on and on about his daughter. Bitrus is with Atasi cutting the garden when Viccoco comes to ask her to come with him to the supermarket. Atasi quickly leaves Bitrus to go with Viccoco.

Today's episode of Halita should be titled 'apologizing for past deeds' King goes to meet Matilda in the parlor again so they can talk. Matilda takes the time to apologize to King for how she treated him while he was growing up. The truth she always admired him and wanted Bobby to be like him seeing how he was always business savvy and hardworking. King did not know she liked him talk more of having anything nice to say about him. Matilda is happy with the man he has become, she watched him grow from a daddy's boy to a man now. King tells her all this change is thanks to Halita and would really appreciate it if she would give them her blessing. Matilda acknowledges Halita is a very special girl. They are still talking when Bobby enters. He too is surprised seeing King and Matilda talk but tells King to come see him when he is done.
King goes to meet Bobby in his room so they can talk. Bobby wants him to allow Halita to come stay in his old room now that he is no longer here. King does not like the idea at first but Bobby tells him if she stays here she would spend more time with Altine than Altine would with him and it would be better having her here than in the staff quarters.
Kaza enters the parlor to see Adi looking over some of the pictures in there and wants to know what he is doing here? The two men begin to renew their arguement again with Kaza telling Adi he would deal with him for trying to use his children against him. Adi, on the other hand, tells him it was Dosha that offered her shares to him willingly he did not manipulate her into doing it. Adi tells Kaza he cannot do anything he only makes empty threats. They are still talking when Matilda enters demanding to know what they are arguing about.
Next on Halita: Kudus tell the Chiefs it is because he is a kind humble man that is why they have access to him. Who are they to come to tell him what to do?
