'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 38

In today's episode of Halita. Kudus tell Rebecca that Dabot is dead and gone and it would be good for her to take the deal he is offering. Rebecca tells him he would not take her family land, when a man goes missing 7years is considered before he is concluded dead. Kudus is surprised that she knows that so Rebecca reminds him she is not an illiterate like him. Kudus still insists that he is the Agomo and it is his word that is the law. Rebecca is willing to fight him with all she has. Kudus finally proposes to marry her so she does not stay as a penniless widow. Rebecca would not marry Kudus, she orders him to leave her house.
Halita is in the kitchen trying so hard to reach her mother when Onfo comes to ask her why she has a sad face? Halita tells her she has not been able to get in touch with her mother Onfo then advises that she tries again later maybe it is the network. Onfo goes on to ask about the little drama that went down with her and King. Onfo knows it is love that made King come to beg her like that, she is waiting for a man to come love her like that. In her former relationships, she was always the one begging but she knows her prince charming would be coming soon.

I think this illness has given the Ice Queen a soft spot. King goes to Matilda with a basket of all the things she likes and she thanks him for it. King also knows everyone has been throwing her a pity party but he only came to talk. Matilda allows King to sit with her. The two talk about her campaign and the progress so for. Matilda even asks for his opinion on some of the ideas she has put in place. King really admires all the work she has done the education reform.

Bobby goes to Dosha's office to try and talk to her. Since the news of their mum's illness, she has been avoiding their mum. Dosha claims she has not but Bobby knows better. He knows she is scared and they all are too but this is the time they need to be there for their mum.
Adi sent for Sekyen to come to his office. She enters and he makes her wait a bit before asking her to have lunch with him. Sekyen tells him no, she has made plans with the guys in finance. Adi tries to ask her again to have lunch with him, he would be a better company but Sekyen is having fun punishing him for rejecting her proposal to dinner some time ago.
Kudus is sitting under a tree when Rebecca enters to talk to him. Kudus thinks she came to tell him she would be marrying him but that is not the case. Rebecca came to inform him that her husband planted cashew on the land and it must harvest first before the land can be used. Kudus still reminds her that all the laws she keeps quoting have nothing to do here, she better makes up her mind before the offer is taken away. In fact, Kudus decides he would not marry her again. Rebecca dares him to try and touch her husband's land she would deal with him.

Schola is tending to Dareng in his house when Gromlat comes to see her patient. Gromlat wants Schola to leave so she can attend to her patient but Schola is not ready to leave, this is her territory unlike the clinic and she would be staying here. Gromlat then insists they take it inside but Schola would still be there, there is nothing on Dareng's body she has not seen before. Dareng feels embarrassed by this.

Kaza goes to Dosha's office with an offer for her. He wants to buy the rest of her shares in the company since she is not interested in them besides she would rest easy knowing she sold it to her father. Kaza leaves to let her think about it. Kaza is willing to support whatever dreams she wants to pursue so he gives her time to think.

With one phone call King makes an arrangement for a studio section for Halita to promote her business.
The youths of Jirasa go to their Agomo demanding for the snooker table he promised them. Kudus first ask them if they are paying tax? He intends to fulfill his campaign promises but that is not is a priority right now. Their request makes Kudus demand that they start paying tax from now on.

Viccoco and Bitrus seem to be trying their best to get the attention of Atasi. Viccoco sees her sweeping and decides to help her sweep the compound. Bitrus then comes to ask to walk with him while he goes to buy something. Viccoco warns him to stick to his Pascalina and leave his precious Atasi alone. Meanwhile, Angulu watch as these men argue over his daughter.
Dosha goes to her father's office with a reply to him. She would be willing to sell her shares to anyone but him. She would even sell to Adi again and there is nothing he can do about it.
Next on Halita: Rebecca sees someone measuring her land on the orders of the Agomo so she orders him to leave her land. Rebecca picks up a stone to throw at the man so he runs for his life.
