'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 37

In today's episode of Halita. Dosha is in her room thinking about the news she just got when Onfo enters to drop her laundry. Onfo greets aunty Dosha but she would not answer. She asks her where she should drop the clothes but Dosha does not reply again. Dosha snaps at her when Onfo keeps asking questions, why does she have to be a nuisance, she should drop the clothes and leave. Onfo just drops the clothes in the room and exit leaves.
King and Bobby are on the balcony talking about Matilda's disease. Bobby cannot believe this is happening to his mum, why her? King reminds him the sickness does not pick who is deserving or not. Bobby wishes he can trade places.
Halita shares the news of her engagement to King with the staff. They are all happy for her except you know who. Ladi. Onfo has to show the ring to Ladi since she would not congratulate Halita.
Dareng goes to Rebecca with more bad news. Rebecca takes a look at him and his disposition makes her cry even more.

Hassan and Eric are having a meeting with Dosha in her office but she is not paying any attention to them. Hassan has to call her back to reality if she wants they can reschedule the meeting.

Viccoco just took the words out of our mouths when he applauds Onfo for holding on to the secret of Halita's marriage and did not say anything all this while. Ladi says Onfo should use the secret and go collect money from the bank. Onfo is happy for her friend because she knows soon it would be her turn unlike some people, Ladi. Viccoco and Angulu always knew Halita was special and very soon Halita would become a Zamani and Ladi would soon have to call her madam.
Dareng goes to his house to see Schola waiting for him there. As Dareng approaches her, Schola decides to ask him a question that she has always wanted to ask him since. If he loves her? Dareng hears the question and reminds her that Dabot has been missing and all she can ask him is if he loves her. Dareng tells her to come and be going. Schola leaves the house angry.
Bobby is sitting with his mother in the parlor when Ladi comes to meet him. He wants her to make his mother's meal and is very specific about what she should prepare and not prepare. Matilda cannot believe Bobby is treating her like some lab rat now. Bobby has made his mother his priority from now on. While they are still talking Kaza enters the parlor, Matilda just wants their support, not their pity.

Adi and Sekyen are in his office talking. She finally talks about his interview, it was good. Their discussion goes on to Sekyen asking him why he is not married yet? Adi tells her he ones liked someone but his presumed death ruined that relationship. He is yet to find the right person.
Kaza tells Matilda he does not understand the choices his children keep making. Matilda reminds him King is a grown man and he would leave up to the consequences of his actions. Kaza is actually referring to Dosha giving a percentage of her shares to Adi. Matilda does not understand why Dosha would do something like that and would need to talk to her. Kaza thinks it is Adi that persuaded her into doing it. Matilda goes on to defend her brother and Kaza does not like it. He is tired of her defending Adi regardless of all he has done.

King and Hailta have their first fight. Halita goes to King's flat demanding to know what happened to the lecturer she told him about. King tells her someone had to do something, he would not let anyone take advantage of his girl. Halita wanted him to let her handle it she does not need to live off anyone she knows how to fight her own battles. The minute she told him about it now Mr. Felix is fired. Halita storms out of the house upset.

Dosha is in her office moody when Dooter comes to see her. He is willing to take her out so he can take off the sadness on her face. Dosha informs Dooter about her mother's illness and Dooter is there to comfort her.

King goes to the kitchen to see Halita. The moment Halita enters, King stops her so they can talk. Ladi, Onfo, and Atasi have to leave the kitchen for them but Onfo and Ladi remain at the door to eavesdrop. King apologizes to her for what he did, he was only trying to protect her but next time he would not make this kind of decision without talking to her first. Halita had the intention of writing a petition demanding a remark but they make up after King's apology.
Kudus goes to see Rebecca with a suggestion that they do a burial for Dabot since he has not been found. Rebecca is not willing to give up on Dabot yet until she sees his body. In that case, Kudus came to inform her that since Dabot is dead and her only child for him is a girl the community has decided that they need to take Dabot's land for infrastructure development.
Next on Halita: The Youths go to Kudus demanding for the snooker table he promised them. Kudus asks them if they are paying taxes?
