'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 36

In today's episode of Halita. Kaza tries to process the news Matilda just told him about her health. How can this happen? Parkinson changes everything, it has no cure. Matilda tells him she is fine, he is trying to scare her now. This is the first time Kaza and Matilda share a bit of emotion. Kaza promises his wife to be there for her, she would not have to walk down this part alone. That was all Matilda wanted, his support.

Bobby is in his flat with his girlfriend Altine. She has to go but Bobby tries to use his words to make her stay Altine still leaves. She knows what he is up too and would not let him win.
It seems today's episode is for the couples. King is also with Halita in his flat. King wants to tell his family that they are engaged. Halita, on the other hand, does not want to be there when he tells them. King has to remind Halita that she would soon be his wife and a member of this family they would have to get used to them being together. Halita does not know why her father has not called her back. She told her mother about the engagement but it seems her father is not happy. Halita does not know her father has been kidnapped.
Schola meets Gromlat on her way to the clinic and warns her to leave her man alone. Gromlat cannot believe she stopped her here to embarrass herself. Schola is ready to fight for her man oh, it took her a long time to get Dareng to look her side and she is not ready to lose him right now. Gromlat shares what her mother told her about fighting for a man. If you fight over a man then you has already lost him. Gromlat asks Schola if Dareng has even told her he loves her, if he loved her then she has nothing to worry about.

Kudus meets one of the farmers on his way and asks him about their potato farming. The farmer informs Kudus that Dareng has been the one helping them. He has a client in Abuja that they sell to so it makes things easy for them. After Kudus hears what the farmer tells him, he has a plan to sabotage Dareng's business.
King informs his father about engaging Halita and Kaza is not pleased. Kaza wants his son to marry based on status, not love. Love is not enough. King has heard his father but he would not change his decision, he is a man and would make a decision that he can justify tomorrow. King goes on to defend Halita, she is a good girl with an innocent heart.
Ladi tries again to get Onfo to talk about the marriage secret she has been hiding. Ladi tells her she knows she is getting married. Onfo is about to answer her when Atasi calls them both.
Dosha goes to Adi's office to inform him she would be leaving Lufu. She loves the company but it is time she does what she really loves. Dosha decides to give Adi half of her 10% shares to give him a seat at the table on the condition that he drops the case challenging her grandmother's Will.
Kaka goes to check up on Matilda in the parlor. Matilda informs her about her illness and Kaka gets really emotional for her. She hugs her like a mother would.

Bobby and Kaza are having a meeting in Kaza's office when Dosha enters. She informs them she gave half of her 10% shares to Adi. Kaza does not understand why she had to do that if it is money she should sell it to him. Dosha has already made the decision to sell the shares to Adi and there is no going back now.

Halita informs Kaka about her engagement to King. Kaka is happy for her, this is good news for her seeing she has had a bad mode all day.
Kudus called all the village elders. He has plans to build infrastructures in the village and so all the potato farmers are ordered to pay tax. Zakka and Takum cannot believe the mistake they made supporting Kudus.

Matilda is about to inform Bobby and Dosha about her illness when King and Halita enter the dining room with the good news of their own. Kaza does not want them saying anything, now is not a good time. Matilda wants King to say what he has to say. King informs his family about him and Halita's engagement. Bobby is happy for his brother and Halita while Kaza tells them congratulations. Matilda still has her stern look on her face.

The Zamanis move to the parlor for Matilda's news. King and Halita do not feel welcomed to sit with them until Matilda beckons on them to come sit. Kaza then informs them Matilda has Parkinsons. Dosha and Bobby cannot believe this is happening to their mum. Halita has to hold King by his arm after hearing the news.
