'Halita' Recap: Season 2 Episode 35

In today's episode of Halita. Kaza asks Adi if what he is saying is a joke? who is he to tell him to resign? Adi reminds him he is a Rashanti the son of the Ambassador that founded Lufu Groups. Kaza would not resign so he goes on to ask Matilda to talk to her brother. Matilda does not answer anyone of them, she just walks out of the parlor.

The house staff is having their dinner in the kitchen as well as Atasi. Viccoco reminds Ladi she used to give them some of the drinks she made like Kunu and Zobo. Ladi decides to give Onfo a drink and when Atasi asks for a glass, Ladi refuses. {Ladi and Atasi would be fighting very soon in this house}

Hassan takes Afrah back to her house. While in his car she keeps talking about her business and her family not letting her be her own woman. Hassan tries to seize the opportunity to kiss her but Afrah blocks him with her bag. They are not like that and if they would they need to talk about it first. Hassan apologizes, he thought they were like that. Afrah reminds him she cannot do this to her best friend so they both agree it would not happen again.

The plan Viccoco and Ladi had was to spike Onfo's drink so she can tell them what she has been hiding. The drink Ladi gave her had something inside that made Onfo stutter and act a bit intoxicated. The plan did not work because Onfo just staggers back to her room without saying anything.

Rebecca would not let Kudus sleep until he returns her husband to her. She goes to Kudus house early in the morning to ask for him to return her husband. Kudus tells her he does not know where her husband is and demands that she gives him the respect he deserves as the Agomo. Rebecca is not interested in that all she wants is for him to return her husband to her. Kudus tell her to wait for him he has to get the youths together. He cannot be Agomo and his subjects go missing like that. {If Kudus really has a hand in this kidnapping then he is really good at this part. He has mee fooled}

King enters Bobby's flat and the place looks different. {That was what Altine did, she redecorated his flat instead of getting a dress} Bobby tells King he misses him in Lufu. King knows he has it covered, he would be fine. Bobby has to leave to attend a meeting at Lufu. As Bobby leaves, Atasi comes in with Bobby's laundry. She introduces herself to King then King leaves the room.
At the meeting, Adi demands that Kaza steps down as MD and be on paid leave till this whole scandal clears. Kaza would not step down they have had scandals like this in the past and all they did was keep quiet and let it pass. Adi thinks Dosha and Matilda agree with him but Matilda tells them to go on she is listening. {Matilda seems to keep drifting in and out of reality due to her Parkinson disease}

Kaza calls an abrupt end to the meeting, he is not stepping down. Adi cannot believe no one said anything.


Onfo is still having her hangover. Ladi informs her she might have mistakenly added something in the Zobo she gave her to drink. Atasi thinks it is Weed but Ladi tells her to shut up, what does she know about weed?

Matilda is in the parlor when Kaza enters. She tries to talk to him but Kaza is not in the mood if she wanted to talk she would have said it in the meeting.
As Kaza leaves, Dosha enters with Dooter. Dooter really admires Matilda and has heard a lot about her. When Matilda asks him what he does Dooter tells her he is a mixologist. Dooter even goes ahead to explain how important his job as a mixologist is to the Ice- Queen. People really care about what they drink. Matilda finishes listening to him and condescendingly calls him a Barman before she leaves the room.

Halita goes to King's flat with a long face. She failed her test because her lecture was making a pass at her and when she refused he failed her.
Dosha goes back to see her mother. She does not like how she treated Dooter earlier by calling him a barman. Matilda apologizes to her daughter then asks her about Hassan the lawyer she was dating before. Dosha informs her mother that they broke up after she asked her too. Matilda prefers the lawyer to the Mixologist or barman. Who you date is important.

King wants Halita to give her the name of the lecturer but she insists that she would handle it herself, he does not need to worry.
Matilda goes to Kaza study to talk to him. She is medically sick. She has Stage 2 Parkinsons and it is deteriorating fast.
Next on Halita: Kaka is in tears after hearing Matilda is sick.
