Unmarried Season 1 Episode 1 Recap

In today's episode of Unmarried. Nengi tries to kill herself in her bathtub. What is the point of everything?
Nengi and Atonye are having sex in the morning. She says all of this is so they can have children so she holds herself in a position for a while to get the sperm in the right places. While they are still rolling in bed the alarm goes off. Nengi has a presentation today that she is late for.
Kamsi, on the other hand, is trying to get her daughter for school so she does not miss the bus. Kamsi's husband Lotanna comes out rushing to go for his match. She needs him to come back home on time to watch the children she has to meet with the girls today. Lotanna makes excuses he has to be out she needs to call her sister again.

Funbi returns to the country with Chuka her married boo. His wife calls him and he has to take it, forming the business trio was very good.
Nengi cannot stay for breakfast she would be late. Atonye has no choice but to respect her wishes even though he spent all the time making it.
Nengi gets to the office but takes a slip after her heel breaks. Luckily she has a spare in the car.
Kamsi is doing the laundry while her sister Somto talks to her about Lotanna's laziness. Kamsi still defends him, he is the father of her children and he is trying. The fact that her marriage did not work doesn't mean all men are scums.
Funbi gets back home and sees Joe grinding and smoking with a girl in her house. She is mad at him for messing the place up but immediately switches when he asks how her trip went? Funbi was really excited about the trip and most especially the shopping was great.
Nengi makes it in time for the presentation. Her presentation is really good but one of her colleagues points out the fact that she is wearing slippers on a Monday.

Nengi gets back to her car. One of her staff was able to fix the shoe for her. She wants him to take the day off she would be going to see her friends then end the day with her husband.
Nengi, Kamsi, and Funbi meet up for drinks. Funbi brought gifts from Paris for her girls while Nengi gives them a break down of her day at the office today. She is having alcohol so the baby-making thingy is not working.
Kamsi, on the other hand, shares her frustration with her husband. After his failed business he has refused to do anything. Funbi on the other hand has high hopes. Chuka would soon be divorcing his wife to marry her. Nengi thinks she is in over her head with all of these. Nengi seems to be the only one with a perfect marriage, she does not know what she did to deserve her husband.
The next day, Atonye is all dressed up to hang with the boys and asks Nengi for her card to buy drinks for the boys. Nengi has no issues with that she would be meeting the girls for drinks too after her section at the spa.
Kamsi and Funbi attend a wedding and guess who is marrying? It is Atonye. They are so shocked that they call Nengi who is getting a massage to come immediately, Kamsi is dying she needs to get there quickly.
Nengi gets into the church the exact time Atonye is taking his vows. What is going on here?
Atonye takes Nengi outside to talk. He tells her to go home he would talk to her when he gets back he is getting married. Nengi does not understand how he can be getting married when he is married to her. Atonye begs Kamsi and Funbi to take her home so she does not embarrass him here.
Nengi picks a stick and hits Atonye's head. She would show him what real embarrassment is.
