Power "Recap" Season 6 Episode 12: He Always Wins

In this week’s episode of Power. Starz shows us the events that led to Paz being in Truth the night James was killed.
Paz wakes up from a nightmare where Jamie killed her sister.
Paz has her Papi staying in her house now that Angela is gone and no one to pay for his stay at the old people's home. She did not tell him about Angela's so Paz is going to keep playing Angela to him, answering her name when he calls.
They put on the news and James is all over television with his move from Tate's team to become Loretta Walsh Lieutenant Governor. Over Paz’s dead body would she let that happen.
Warner goes to John Mak. He needs him to give him dirt on Saxe, Warners wants to see Saxe in jail. John Mak wouldn’t help him but Warner has a card up his sleeve. He would indict John for conspiracy if he does not give him anything on Saxe and charge them together. Warner knows what he gave Angela for the job recommendation she got him. Tony Teresi.
Everyone Saxe has
turned turns up dead that’s why Saxe needs to be stopped. John Mak has nothing better on Saxe he never broke the law around him.
Paz goes to Tasha's apartment to try and get her to help against James. They can’t let him win after all he has done to them. Tasha can’t take James down without hurting her children and she would not do that. There is nothing they can do, He always wins.
Paz is going to look for help somewhere else.
She goes home, takes out a gun from the box under her bed and heads to James's building. Her ambition to pull the trigger on James is cut short when an ambulance truck drives through.
Paz’s quest to take James down takes her to Angela’s old office looking for Saxe. Warner informs her Saxe was fired for badging Angela’s investigation.
Paz heads over to Saxe's apartment, he needs to help her get James for killing her sister. Saxe tells her it wasn’t James that killed Angela. He deserves to pay for what he has done but not for Angela. So what are we going to do?
Paz is really obsessed with bringing James down she goes to Warner with information on Angela. She has prove that Angela was an accomplice to James and his drug organization. Warner warns her that this would not look good for her sister, it ruins everything. Paz still wants to go ahead.
Warner, Paz and the FBI team dig up Angela’s body to get the phone Paz buried with her.
Back at the office, the reports from Angela’s phone isn’t good enough to convict anyone but makes Angela look bad. Paz isn’t still satisfied, she begs Warner to let her wear a recording device, she can get James to confess for all his crimes.
Warner and all his recording devices are no good, no one can crack James. The only thing they got when Paz met with James was Angela was helping to keep his entire family out of Jail. Paz only succeeded in getting Angela’s benefits withheld. Before she leaves good for nothing Warner he gives her back her phone. It’s been blowing up all day. Paz checks through her call log and Tasha is one of the callers as well as her son Junior.
Paz goes to the hospital. Her Papi was taken there for an anxiety attack thanks to Junior. He collapsed when he told him about Angela’s death. Listening to Junior and Paz you would think all their financial problems would go away the moment James is arrested or dead. This time Paz is going to let the FEDs do their job, they have him for another murder they are investigating.
Paz goes to the salon where she works to get her cheque, as she comes out it is Blanca with news from Warner. They can’t get James for the other crime, the Judge wouldn’t sign off on the arrest warrant. There is nothing they can do.
Paz runs back to Tasha’s apartment. She is right He always wins. Paz is ready to let it go, she can’t look her Papi and Junior in the eye but there is no stopping James. Tasha decides to fuel her anger again by telling her James is moving on with his campaign strategist, Ramona. We are back to square one with Paz. She wants revenge again so she heads to Tommy’s apartment.
Paz begs Tommy to kill James for her. She even offers him the money he gave her at Angela’s funeral but Tommy wouldn’t. Angela was not that much of a saint she did bad things. Paz desperation makes her beg the same man that killed her sister to kill the man her sister loved. The irony in this series.
Paz returns home frustrated that James would win. She lays her gun and the money from Tommy on her table and cries her heart out. Meanwhile Junior could hear her crying from the door.
Blanca goes to Warner to inform him Dre would testify at James trial for Terry silver. Warner thinks she has started taking Saxe crazy pills Dre would say whatever she wants him too. Warner kicks Blanca out of this office after she tells him Dre is being transported to a safe house. He gets another visitor.
Steven Art from the Democratic Party. He orders Warner to close the case surrounding Angela and James. James is now the property of the democratic party so Warner should stop whatever he is doing. Warner just took his own pill from Saxe's prescription. After Steven warns him and leaves, Warner looks at Dre file Blanca left on his table. He needs to bring down James.
Warner takes the file to the Judge and with the help of his favorite Ls the judge signs the warrant for James arrest.
Paz wakes up and her gun is missing she knows it is Junior and where he is heading to Truth.
Paz finds Junior before he gets close to the club, she takes the gun from him even when he insists on doing this for her. Paz tells her son to go home, she lost Angela she would not lose him too.
Paz gets to Truth while the party is still on and in the ladies' room, she meets Ramona.
Ramona thanks her for earlier today. She did not mean to eavesdrop but James' apology to her helped her know the kind of man James is. Paz tells her the apology was a lie, she does not know the kind of person James is. James doesn’t care about her, he did not care about Angela that’s why she is dead but she can stop him. Ramona tells Paz there are some people who are unstoppable. {I am beginning to go with people that think Ramona killed James}
Paz finally sees James in the crowd at the party. The closer she gets to him the farther he walks away from her. Finally, at the point, she faces James with no one in her way Paz can’t do it. All the things Tasha and Tommy told her about  Angela and those Angela told her is enough for Paz to walk away.
James only sees Paz when she turns around to leave the club.
Paz gets the news of her life the next day. James was shot and killed in his nightclub yesterday night. He lost.
Warner gets fired for still going after James when Steven warned him about it.
Paz heads back to Warner’s office to try and see him but it’s Blanca she meets. Blanca says they have suspects concerning James's murder including his wife and she would try and make some calls for Angela’s pension but that may not happen. Paz just wants to put her sister back in the ground.
After the funeral Paz gets a call from James's lawyers.
James left a sizable amount of money in his Will for her. He came in and changed his Will after Angela died. Paz wouldn’t take the money.
Outside the office, she runs into Tasha. Tasha is the one that tells Paz Tommy killed Angela. James loved her sister more than anyone else, Tommy did it to provoke James. Paz feels like a fool now thanks to Tasha. Tasha is more like James, they use people to take care of their problems when it is convenient for them. Tasha knows Tommy would be a problem and to solve the problem you use the one person with a revenge agenda.
Paz heads to Tommy’s apartment with the gun but he is not there. The apartment is empty too.
