'30 Coins' Recap: Season 1 Finale Episode 8

Tyler Perry: The Oval Season 1 Episode 5 "Recap"

Nancy and Barry are asked to identify Ruth’s body at the mug. Nancy can’t bring herself to see Ruth’s body so she sits that one out.
Sam, on the other hand, wouldn’t let Richard go without at least trying to get his job back. He makes Richard wait till Don comes before he clears him out.
There is news about the senseless gunshot that led to the death of a Mr. Field. His daughter tells the news reporters her father was asleep when the shot was fired. Richard has a guilty look on his face, he knows the shot was from the struggle in the car.
Richard tells Sam the situation with Ruth and Kally, he needs his help. Sam would make some calls.

Back at the police station. The officer tells Barry, Ruth was stabbed in the chest and her face mutilated. Barry feels sad that Ruth is dead, I mean having to die this way but his main focus is finding his daughter. He makes the officer tell him the street Ruth was attacked in.
Don needs Sam to change Kyle from his detail. Sam also vouches for Richard and Barry, Don has to do something he knows Barry didn’t do it.
It would seem Sam is aware of Kyle is trying to get Bobby to talk. He knew Bobby wouldn’t talk.
Franklin is really an asshole. He doesn’t seem to be interested in anything Don has to say about his schedule for the day as President. Franklin just wants to play golf all day and have his mistress here tonight.
We have seen how much of a good husband Franklin is to Victoria. From bringing his mistress to the White House to being physically and verbally abusive to his wife. Franklin would also love if someone kills his wife for him. He wants Don to take back her security details but Don doesn’t think that’s a great idea he even thinks he is joking about it.

Gayle wouldn’t take Peeky’s rejections easily. She wants to see him, it’s not her fault they are in the White House. For Peeky it is simply straight forward, she comes with the police now so he has to settle for Rachael. Stop calling me.
Jason is one hell of a character. He makes the White House seem like a jungle with a wandering naked boy. While Lilly waits for Victoria to come out Jason keeps wandering naked. Twice Lilly sees him standing naked by the door.
Gayle's constant rebellion to Victoria is one that makes Victoria is the "evil stepmother" rather than her mother. Victoria used Yoma’s taser on Gayle in the presence of Lily, Priscilla, Yoma, and Jane. Gayle would not obey Victoria when she tells her to go upstairs to her room. Victoria orders Yoma to tase her daughter but she would not do it so Victoria takes the taser gun for herself and do it.
Gayle is as stubborn as Victoria.
The detective needs Barry to tell her where he was last night. Barry can’t tell her he was at the White House being accused of rape so he lies. He was at home with his mum, dad, and Sharon. Nancy says she went to bed early so she can’t confirm his story. Nancy has to be upright at all times not even when it comes to lying for her son.
As much as Priscilla hates Gayle for her rudeness she is the closest thing to care Gayle has got. Priscilla stands in while the doctor checks Gayle after her shock. She even gives her a blanket to warm her up but Gayle just wants her to get out. She hates this place and everyone in it.

Gayle and Jason are two sides of a coin. One wants to get out to the White House while the other spends his time wandering naked in the White House. He has studied the White House so well he comes in and out of his sister’s bathroom the way he likes. He can get Gayle out if she wants.
Nancy has too much kindness in her. She feels bad for Ruth. After all, she has gone through she did not deserve to die like that. Barry can’t be bothered or tries to act that way. Ruth has caused a lot of trouble he feels relieved that she is dead. He just wants to find Kelly.
Victoria gets to the store she always wanted to shop in. The same one her husband shops from. Franklin’s mistress thinks it is Franklin so she applies more makeup to look good for President Franklin. Victoria gives her the beaten of her life while Yoma, Max, and Lilly stand outside the dressing room. For a woman who does not love her husband she really did a number on his mistress.
Richard has a lot of explaining to give to Nancy. First, he never takes the day off work. Second how come Barry was with him the whole night and he never said anything.
Since this week's episode began we have all been wondering why Victoria called Lilly to go with her. Well, Victoria tells Lilly she invited her to show her the kind of person she is. She is a lady that has worked too hard to get here and would not let a 2-bit hoe ruin it for her. Victoria needs her as an ally, Don is aware of Franklin’s cheating she would do the same for if she hears anything.
Victoria gives Lilly advice when she defends Don as a faithful man. All men cheat they have just never been caught.
Kareem gets Sharon food to make peace for early. Kareem's girlfriend also brought food for him. There seems to be a love rectangle between Sharon, Barry, Kareem, and his girlfriend.
Priscilla has a lot to tell Sam about this family. First, she is worried about the kids after watching Victoria shock her own daughter. She even saw Gayle taking naked pictures in her room. She needs Sam to watch Jane, she does not trust Jason around her. Jason sneaks up behind them. He is taking a tour of the White House himself. Priscilla gives him the wrong information on where the full-time service staff stays.
Sam would definitely keep an eye out for this one.
Nancy realizes her seven inch kitchen knife is missing. She hopes what she is thinking isn’t what it is.
