African Magic New Series "UNBROKEN" Episode 1 Recap

It is the day of Terfa and Abimbola Gyado's 30th wedding anniversary. Sarah the event planner is in the garden organizing the staff and decorations to suit Abimbola's expensive taste.

Tivdo{remember Epe from Ajoche yap he is the one} is already dressed in his suit and on the phone with

Jesse his girlfriend who is trying to get dressed. Tivdo reminds Jesse how much he loves her and can't wait to see her at the party tonight. 

Iyoma comes asking Tivdo who he is on the phone with? When he tells her Jesse She grabs the phone then rudely ends the call. {Hmm sister inlaw wahala already} Tivdo isn't so happy with what she did. She wants to know where their dad is? Tivdo says he left him at the office.

Abimbola Gyado {the lady that played the queen of Ufam in Ajoche} finally returns. Iyoma is not happy she had to go to the office on a day like this. It is her wedding anniversary. Her mum reminds her that they have a wedding planner for all these things she does not have to stress herself. Well, Iyoma has a busy bone in her.

Sarah runs through the details of the party with Abimbola. It is going to be a very special night.

Abimbola calls out Tivdo to ask of his father? He has no idea.

Kossy{another character from Ajoche. Oofuni's maid Onyeje}  Jesse's best friend enters her room to check if she is done dressing. Jesse has a worried face on. She was talking to Tivdo when Iyoma grabbed the phone and hung up, it is getting really tiring. Kosso is ready to defend her friend tonight at the party if Iyoma tries anything funny.

Iyoma still tries to reach her father. She keeps calling him but he wouldn't pick up. 

Meanwhile, Mr. Gyado is in a hotel with Diana is mistress. For a man his age, he really knows his game. 

Terfa Gyado finally gets to his phone. Iyoma wants to know where he is? Terfa says he is about leaving the office. Iyoma called the office and they said he was not there. Terfa tries to lie again but Iyoma overhears Diana telling him to tell her the truth. Iyoma cannot believe her father is with her on a day like this.

Diana sees a jewelry box by the bedside and thinks it is for her. If he did not give it to her then it is not for her. Diana hands him the pregnancy test result. She is so excited she can't wait to be Mrs. Gyado. Terfa wants her to do another abortion but she would not. Diana says she is going to tell Abimbola about them tonight. Terfa tries to talk her out of it but it is not happening. It is the right time for the world to know about them. See you later tonight.

Diana leaves the room then Terfa calls Thomas to inform him Diana is no longer a staff of Gazelle company and on no condition should she be allowed into his compound tonight.

Kosso tells Jesse the progress they have made at the Spa today. Kosso realizes Jesse has not quit her job at the company yet. She cannot just tell her father she is leaving the company he would leave for her. Jesse promises to tell her dad today.

Nanle and Ofure Jangfa get ready to go to the party. Ofure tells her husband they are the Jangfas and they throw a better party than the Gyados but this party is all that everyone would be talking about in town.

Sarah the event planner finally tells Abimbola everything is ready for the guests. 

Terfa enters the room to meet his wife. Terfa spoils his wife with his gifts and his words. They even dance to the rhythm of their hearts.

Diana calls Terfa but he does not pick up. He drops work at the office and at home he is just Mr. Gyado.

At the office, the officers of the FCA come in with a search warrant asking for Mr. Gyado. Tobore{William Benson 'Apeh in Ajoche'. There a couple of Ajoche cast members in the series.} tells them Mr. Gyado is not here. The FCA agents have a warrant to comb the entire place thoroughly. Tobore whispers to one of the staff he is going for the party, he should make sure they do not get close to the container. 

The FCA agents try to stop him from going but he tells them they would find nothing here, feel free to tidy up after your men.

Terfa and Abimbola go down to their children. Listening to all Terfa says about his gorgeous wife it is hard to believe this same man is cheating on her. He says his only job is to worship the ground she works on and carry her bag. {Men are indeed scum}Terfa gives a toast to the blessings of family and the delightful friends that would join them tonight.

Abimbola and Iyoma go outside to the garden to see the end result of their work. There seems to be tension between Iyoma and her mother all the time.

Diana has a maid outfit on and smoking. She has gotten news of her termination at work. After ten years he thinks he can just do away with her just like that. Diana gets a call from a guy but she does not want him to call her anymore. He should get it to his head she does not want to talk to him.

Tivdo and his dad go to study. He congratulates him on his anniversary, he and his mum are couple goals. Tivdo tells his father he thinks it is time, he is ready to propose to Jesse. Terfa is happy for his son.

At the gate, Diana enters the Gyado mansion as the new maid. 

Next on Unbroken: Diana is dressed as a guest. she tells Abimbola she is having a baby for Terfa in the presence of Ofure. {I love this series already, plenty drama}
