There is so much people get to see and hear at a mechanic shop. From hawkers, mechanics, and car owners, it is funny how in that little space you can be educated on how you can attract a man.
I was at a mechanic shop the other day, to service my car. Lots of people tend to come in and out of a mechanic store especially hawkers, and I had a couple of invitation to buy things, wristwatches, glasses, jewelry et cetera. They just kept coming with different items. No matter how much you said no, they
would only go to change their clothes and come back with another set of items.
Out of the ton that came my way one hawker's product got my attention. I knew he was selling herbs the moment he approached me. The man in question had lots of small bottles with contents I could not really make out in his hand and a nylon bag containing even more products. First, he said he had herbs for long hair and I quickly said no, I did not want to buy. Getting pieced that all these hawkers wouldn't stop coming with their wears, I was about walking out when he said in a very low tone that he had Kayan mata.
My friends had ones or twice said something about Kayan mata so I got really intrigued and stopped to listen.
Next thing I heard was "I get the one for bumbum and breast". Really curious now so I am like how abeg? He then says it is to make them bigger. It is obvious this guy has checked me out really well. Refusing again to buy his product. He brings out a very small bottle with a weird content and says if you use this one anything you tell man to do, him no go fit refuse you. In my mind 'I wish I can use this on Dangote', but I can't so no need.
I had to ask him how much he was selling all of these and he says for #3500. I know what you are thinking, a very cheap investment for all this packaging. Yes, but I can't afford it, so I tell this very generous seller that I like my body the way it is and I no dey look for man to obey my every command.
I am about to leave to monitor what my mechanic was doing. The very resilient seller follows me and goes ahead to offer me the one he says would make my vagina tight. Surprised by this, I am like wow it can really do that? I still had to stick to my no again, I am not about to tighten my vagina, it's not a loosed screw jhor.
Finally, I had to ask him if all these things had side effect and like every wise seller, he swore with his life that there is no adverse effect when you use these products. Which seller tells his potential customer that his goods would kill them? The guy decided I was bad market, he realized I did not want to buy his Kayan mata but was just asking plenty of questions, so he leaves me alone.
All through my interrogation section with this man, all I could think about is the number of insecurities ladies go through. The need to make themselves look in a certain way to attract a man is quite alarming. Let's not dwell on the ones that also go through the knife all in the name of attracting men.
This insecurities stream from continuously telling yourself that 'you are not good enough'. You are going to find yourself using products and doing things to make you look good enough. The sad truth is you would never be good enough. You are only going to need more kayan mata sellers and a lot more doctors.
