AJOCHE EPISODE 230 RECAP
On today's episode of Ajoche. Oofuni offers to give some of the weapons to the Jukun leader if they would be willing to work with her and be loyal to her. She promises to reward them if they work for her but would be an enemy to them if they are her enemy. The Jukun leader also tells her that he too can be an enemy, if she decides to make them one. He agrees to work with her so she hands him one of the guns and also gives one to Alechenu.
Epe goes to Onnah to talk to him about
his coronation. Onnah says him that the gods have not said anything and until they do they cannot move forward with the coronation. Epe thinks the land Onnah is staying on is a waste if he cannot hear the gods speak. Onnah tells him to hear for himself as the land is a spiritual land. The gods have a tradition that no king can be crowned until all members of the royal house are buried, so he should look for Ene even if she is dead so she can be buried before he can be crowned king.
Ene pleads with Akum to get water for her to bath because she is not use to doing this and since her maid is dead she does not know how to do them. Akum reminds her that she is not her maid but shows her the part to the stream where she can go have her bath. Ene tries to escape, Akum then throws a knife in her direction as a warning or else she would tie her up like a criminal.
Epe, Apeh, Onnah and all the chiefs are seated in the council room and have called Agaba. Agaba says they did not see Ene and she could be dead because they saw the bodies of her guards and her servant Hauwa. One of the chiefs say they should stop searching for her body and find her because she is still alive and needs their help. Onnah says they need to find her unless the prince cannot be crowned. Epe in turns acts like he cares and tells Agaba to do everything possible to find her, he says that if only he knew something like this would happen he would have told her to stay. Define psycho 'Epe'.
Epe comes out of the council room upset and Eje calls him at that point. Eje has brought bad news because Adoga has not been found yet and the body of his guard was found. Epe tells him that they are all useless bringing him one bad news after the other. His father comes out to meet them talking and torments Epe again. Epe tells him that he did not send for him. Apeh does not mind this and says to his son that everything is falling around him because he has refused to listen to wisdom. He also tells Epe that he should not say he did not try to help him. Then he walks out, leaving him to think of what he has said.
Alechenu goes to see officer Thomas accompanied with his gun, Adoga, Ekere and Odumu. Alechenu has the gun pointed at officer Thomas while Adoga interprets. Officer Thomas says they are here to help them but Adoga while interpreting tells officer Thomas that he has been kidnapped and he should get his men to kill all of them because they are dangerous. Odumu at this point hits him on his face and tells him that hope whatever he is saying to them does not get him killed.
Oganya is frantically waiting for Akajo. When he comes, she complains that Enayi has been monitoring her and she is afraid that the general would soon sentence her to prison too. Akajo tells her that Alechenu is alive and willing to help with all of this. Oganya asks him that which other person that is supposed to be dead is he working with. At that point they hear footsteps and Oganya hides behind Akajo thinking it is Enayi. Akajo is surprise to see that it is Oofuni and she has followed him all the way here. Oofuni calls out Oganya.
Alechenu does not want the help from the foreigners and tells Adoga this. Adoga tells him he has seen things and they better accept their help because change is coming whether they like it or not. Alechenu says let them come they would be ready for them when they do.
Oganya and Oofuni get into a fight, with Oganya trying to hit her with a stick. Akajo manages to calm them down. Akajo is trying to explain things to Oganya but she refuses to listen then she slaps him saying she would not forgive this and walks out. Akajo turns to Oofuni and tells her that she is a mad woman that cannot be changed because all she has done is ruin everything. They argue because of what she did. Things gets heated up with Oofuni trying twice to slap him but Akajo stops her then they both begin to kiss.
Adoga tells Alechenu that they need a plan but Alechenu says he has none and wants to think. Adoga cannot stop taking and keeps going on and everyone is getting irritated. Alechenu tells them to all keep quiet and allow him think.
Oganya is in her hut shouting about Oofuni when Agbenu comes in to meet her. She tells her that Oofuni is alive and Akajo has been working with her all this while. Oganya keeps shouting and saying Akajo does not have their good when Enayi comes in hearing her say Akajo's name. Enayi thinks she has gotten her now but Oganya is wise and switches things up. She tells her yes she is talking about Akajo because he conspired to get her husband killed and is still alive somewhere. Oganya begins to act angry and asks her what her husband the general is doing to find Akajo and bring him to justice. Enayi begins to tell her to calm down that her husband is working on it.
NEXT ON AJOCHE: Ene is flogging Adoga because he gave the weapon to Epe that killed her father the king. She keeps beating him with the cane when Ekere comes and lifts her away.
